My Tamed Beast Returned with a Dragon Chapter 7 - Are You the Baby’s Father?
“W-Wait, what?”
Eunsae stammered.
“I’m Yoo Eunsae…?”
Before she even realized it, she had given her name.
The man raised an eyebrow.
Tension crackled in the air.
Her magical beasts could sense it—this being was far stronger than anything they had ever faced.
But they couldn’t back down.
The man spoke, his voice as cold as steel.
“Why do you have my son?”
“Son?”
Eunsae instinctively glanced down.
The baby was tugging at her hair, giggling.
She looked from the baby to the man, the resemblance was undeniable.
They were a perfect match.
Her expression brightened.
“Are you the baby’s father?”
“You’ll need to explain yourself. Properly.”
The man unleashed his power.
BOOM.
It was similar to Woori’s Universal Gravity—but heavier. More oppressive.
Eunsae and her magical beasts froze under its weight.
“KIAAAAA!”
“GRRRRR!”
Haneuli and Dandelion roared, ready to pounce.
Eunsae rushed to calm them.
“Guys, stop! Stop! I’m sorry, they’re just protective! I’ll explain everything!”
The man said nothing.
Instead of answering, Eunsae took a deep breath.
“Why don’t you… come inside first?”
She stepped aside from the doorway.
The man looked at her incredulously.
Was she seriously inviting him in?
Eunsae continued quickly, sensing his hesitation.
“Uh… I never intended to take the baby. It’s a long story, but—”
“…Father?”
“Y-Yes?”
“I will listen.”
The man walked past her into the house.
Eunsae, stunned, followed after him.
It was hard to tell who was the host and who was the guest.
The man silently examined the unfamiliar interior.
A strange rectangular box emitted noise.
There were baby items scattered around the room.
And in all of them, he could sense traces of his child.
The baby’s presence lingered everywhere.
“Um… Would you like to check on the baby first?”
Eunsae hesitated before speaking.
The man lowered his gaze.
The baby, plump and healthy, was nestled safely in her arms.
Yet…
The baby hadn’t even looked at him once.
Instead, it stared at her.
Completely content.
He understood immediately.
They were the same kind—so he could tell.
“At least they are unharmed.”
Eunsae, oblivious to his thoughts, hurried to set up a seat.
“Please, have a seat.”
She quickly turned off the TV and led him to the living room table.
Then, she pulled over the rocking cradle and gently placed the baby inside.
Her magical beasts remained tense, still encircling her.
Even though she told them to back off, they refused.
“Um… Please don’t mind them. They’re just worried about me.”
The man remained silent.
Eunsae took a deep breath and began explaining.
She told him she was a Monster Tamer—that she lived far from the city because of it. That one day, she had returned home to find her beast holding a baby wrapped in a cloth bundle.
That she had tried everything to find the child’s parents, but there had been no leads.
“If I had known the baby’s father was a foreigner, I would’ve expanded the search overseas…”
“Foreigner?”
“Aren’t you? But you speak Korean really well…”
Eunsae looked at him in amazement.
The man was, frankly, ridiculously handsome.
Life was said to be a tragedy up close and a comedy from afar, but his face was an undeniable blessing either way.
If someone like him had lived in Korea, he would have been famous.
“No. I followed the baby’s traces across worlds.”
“…What?”
“The language is translated through magic to what you can understand.”
“…Excuse me???”
Eunsae doubted her own ears.
“Did he just say what I think he said?”
“I do not belong to this world.”
The words sent chills down her spine.
Is this guy… serious?
“You are a Monster Tamer?”
“Y-Yeah…”
“A rare gift.”
For a moment, the man’s golden pupils narrowed into slits.
Eunsae shivered.
A deep instinct told her—this man wasn’t lying.
Maybe… he really wasn’t human.
“Do you know what my son is?”
“What do you mean? Isn’t he just… a baby?”
“This child is my heir—created with my power and the essence of the World Tree.”
The man glanced at the baby.
The baby still wasn’t looking at him.
“Taking them back might be… difficult.”
Belquior realized the issue immediately.
Meanwhile, Eunsae’s mind was spinning.
Her voice trembled.
“Sorry, but… what exactly are you?”
“You truly believe I am human?”
Eunsae’s breath hitched.
The man, expressionless, answered.
“I am Belquior. The Primordial Dragon, guardian of the World Tree, Yggdrasil.”
“……”
“Any more questions?”
Eunsae’s mind went blank.
Her hands shook.
“A dragon. A real dragon.”
Until now, dragons had only been creatures she had to hunt.
The ones from dungeons were monstrous beasts that slaughtered humans.
“But this one speaks. He looks almost… human.”
The only intelligent dragon she had met before was the dungeon boss that cursed her.
Her entire understanding of the world was shattering.
“Are all dragons… like you?”
“..…?”
“I mean, do they all talk? Are they intelligent? Do they look… like us?”
For the first time, a look of displeasure crossed Belquior’s elegant features.
“You misunderstand.”
“The ‘dragons’ you know are merely monsters.”
“Monsters?”
“We do not call them dragons. That is a name humans gave them.”
“Oh.”
That… actually made sense.
Humans often named beasts based on myths and legends.
Just like how the King Spino Gold Dragon she had fought in the Nohyeon Dungeon was given its name based purely on its appearance.
“If I offended you, I’m sorry.”
“It does not matter.”
Eunsae hesitated.
“So… if you came from another world, then how did the baby end up here?”
That was the real mystery.
“I do not know what drew my child here, but since you are a Monster Tamer, I have a guess.”
“What?”
“I followed my child’s traces—and found remnants of your power.”
“My power?”
“Dragons are solitary. But it seems my heir… desired a protector.”
Eunsae’s chest tightened.
“Wait… does that mean… the baby was alone?”
“Yes. That is normal.”
“…How is that normal?!”
She looked at the baby, this sweet, trusting child.
“You were alone that whole time?”
Her heart ached.
Belquior rose from his seat.
“The discussion is over. I will take my child now.”
“No, wait—!”
Eunsae jumped up in alarm.
Belquior lifted the baby.
“Hwaaeng!”
The baby thrashed, screaming.
“NO! I DON’T WANT TO GO!”

“Wait, the baby’s dad came and took him?!” Sol had stopped by Eunsae’s house to celebrate after her victory at the ranking tournament.
Only to be hit with this insane news.
Mirinae, Woori, and Inchan also looked shocked.
Yuha wasn’t there; she was resting to prepare for her next match.
Meanwhile, Eunsae wore an awkward smile as she slowly sorted through the baby supplies.
“Yeah… Sorry. The baby’s father showed up, so I missed your match, Sol.”
“Forget that! Who was the father, anyway?”
“Apparently, he was a dragon from another world.”
“…A dragon?!”
“But not a magical beast like we usually think of. He looked human and could talk. He said he was the Primordial Dragon, guardian of the World Tree.”
“……Eunsae, you sure you didn’t get scammed?”
Sol looked deeply skeptical.
“You sure it wasn’t just some random foreign hunter with a death wish trying to pull one over on you?”
“It wasn’t like that. I think.”
Woori frowned.
“You’re… a little too trusting sometimes. You better not get yourself scammed one day.”
“Thanks, but I’m fine.”
Eunsae huffed.
“Anyway, he looked insanely god-like, and I’d never seen him before. Plus, his powers were completely different from supernatural abilities.”
“If Eunsae the Pretty Boy Enthusiast has never seen his face before, then maybe it’s real.”
“Sol, are you picking a fight?”
Eunsae glared.
Inchan sighed and patted her shoulder, trying to calm her down.
“It must be hard, parting with the baby so suddenly.”
“Yeah… I just hope the father treats them well.”
“Why? You think he won’t?”
“…I don’t know for sure, but I got the feeling he left the baby alone a lot.”
“WHAT?!”
Sol’s shout nearly shook the house.
Eunsae hesitated.
“He said dragons are supposed to grow up alone. He didn’t even give the baby a name.”
“Wow. That’s actually horrible. Is he even a real father?”
Eunsae’s expression darkened.
Noticing it, Mirinae elbowed Sol in the ribs.
