“Since when has it been like this?” Danae smiled at Raios, who stood frozen like a statue. “This hairpin, I lost it six years ago.”

“…”

“So it’s been like this since almost the moment we first met.”

Raios said nothing. He didn’t look flustered or surprised. Rather, his face resembled someone who had finally encountered a long-foreseen nightmare, an expression of facing an inevitable tragedy.

“At first…” Only after a long pause did Raios speak. His voice was lower than usual, but calm. “Simply watching was enough.” Yet tension was unmistakably etched into his stiffened face.

Danae frowned. What is this? Confessing his wrongdoing, yet acting like a boy making a love confession.

“But at some point, little by little, my desire grew excessive. It shouldn’t have happened…” He trailed off, then let out a sigh as if resigned. “Even knowing it was wrong, I couldn’t stop. I’m sorry.”

“…”

“You may report me to the temple. I will accept any punishment willingly.”

Danae felt her interest cool rapidly. Report him? For what crime? For carefully storing her belongings in a treasure box? The items were immaculately kept, as though he only ever opened the box to look at them in silence. Not a single scratch, treasured with care. And even if she did report him, what would happen? Nothing would happen.

The crown prince’s life wouldn’t collapse over something like this. He knew that. And that’s why he could be so honest. This wouldn’t even count as a blemish to him. If anything, perhaps the high justices would chuckle among themselves, saying that even the flawless crown prince had a surprisingly manly side. Even that confidence was part of his power.

Danae found that power nauseating… and envied it. She wanted it.

“Is that all you want?”

“…Pardon?”

“Just collecting my used things like treasures and staring at them. Are you really satisfied with just that?”

Suddenly, the back of her hand, the place the emperor had licked, throbbed. What would’ve happened if she’d slapped his hand away? If she’d run? She would’ve been dragged back. Perhaps thrown straight onto the bed.

As a princess who was little more than a hostage, she was a perfect weakling in this world. Which meant she needed a weapon too. A weapon named Raios Geranze.

“Is there really nothing more you want?”

Raios turned his head away, avoiding her gaze. “There isn’t.”

“Really?”

“Yes. There isn’t.”

“I see…” Danae let her words trail off and slowly sat on the edge of the bed. “Then give my things back.”

“I’ll return everything. I truly apologize for this—”

“And this.” Smiling, Danae held out the silk stockings toward him. “Put them on me.”

“…” Raios’s lips pressed tightly together.

“Put them on me, Raios.”

He didn’t answer. It was better that he couldn’t. Perhaps from shock, in the dim moonlight, she could see his jaw locked tight.

“Sister.” After a moment, he forced the word out in a hoarse voice. “Please don’t tease me.”

“I’m not teasing you.”

“Then are you tormenting me?”

“Yes.” Danae gently swayed the silk stockings. “You said you’d pay for your sin. This is your punishment.”

Raios clenched his fists. A deep humiliation spread across his face. “No. Please report me. Whatever you claim, I will accept it all.”

“Raios, no matter how remarkable you are.” Danae let out an irritated sigh. “Can’t you at least let me decide how you pay for your sin?”

“…”

“Come here. Put them on me. This is the punishment I’ve chosen.”

A heavy, oppressive silence fell. How long did it last? Only when Danae was beginning to feel bored did he finally move. Once he had made up his mind, he no longer hesitated. He crossed the distance in three long strides and knelt on one knee before her.

“Please give them to me.” As if intending to get it over with quickly, Raios took the silk stockings with firm resolve. His face was set. But that composure shattered the moment Danae lifted her skirt.

“…”

Watching his rigidly frozen form, she slowly raised her skirt. Her ankles, calves, and thighs were fully revealed beneath the moonlight. Even the lace stockings were secured to a white garter belt.

As if unable to bear the sight, Raios shut his eyes tightly. “Sister.” He forced the word out, painfully. “Sister, you’re already—”

“I know.” She was already wearing stockings. Danae smiled brightly. “Take them off for me, Raios.”

At that instant, the carefully regulated rhythm of his breathing collapsed. Take them off. Those three words struck him mercilessly, shaking, breaking him.

“Hurry, Raios.”

After a moment, Raios extended his unbearably heavy hands. Tense with extreme tension, he did his best not to touch her bare skin as he carefully undid the garter belt clasp. Then he slowly grasped the edge of the lace and began to pull it down.

Following the path of removal, the stocking peeled away like a shell. With every inch, the fair flesh of her thigh emerged like ripe fruit, scattering his gaze in disarray. When the stocking finally slipped free at her toes, he let out a long breath as though he’d narrowly survived a great calamity.

“Now… I will put them on you.” Steadying his breath, Raios lifted the silk stocking. Just as he was about to proceed, she lowered her foot.

“…!”

Suddenly, like an ambush, her foot pressed down firmly. Raios froze completely. Shock tangled urgently in his gaze. Meeting his blue eyes with deliberate mockery, Danae moved her foot. She pressed down, then slid it upward with force, then softly down again.

Uh.” Raios’s thigh jerked in a reflexive spasm. A moan burst past his lips. Thick veins stood out along his neck. And still, he stared at her as if he couldn’t believe what was happening.

Smiling wordlessly, Danae continued tormenting the swelling mass beneath her foot. His hot, rigid body pulsed like a blazing heart. At last, his lips parted.

“Sis, ter.”

“Yes.”

Rustle, rustle. The sound of rustling fabric beneath her small foot was obscene.

“Why?” She asked, but there was no answer.  “Why, Raios?” Even after asking again, there was still no answer.

Unable to say a single word, Raios’s hands trembled uselessly in midair. And Danae saw it clearly. His eyes, his cheeks, his lips, all soaked in overwhelming arousal, pouring down like a torrential rain. He couldn’t resist the pleasure at all. A twisted satisfaction filled her. So this is the face Raios makes at times like this. Putting on such airs of nobility, yet you’re no different after all.

Savoring his expression in the darkness, Danae continued tormenting him. The heat beneath her foot grew uncontrollable. With each movement, his chest swelled as if it might burst, his breath turning scorching. This should be enough to corner him.

Just as Danae was about to stop, she realized something. Raios was moving his hips on his own. Little by little, jerking reflexively, he seemed to realize his own disgrace. His face was flushing crimson. But more shocking was that he didn’t stop. Instead, the upward force only grew stronger.

When she tried to pull her body back, he suddenly grabbed her slender ankle. Pulled it in and pressed down hard.

Ah…” At last, a long, drawn-out moan, almost like a sigh, escaped him.

Danae felt the violent pulsing beneath her foot. And the hot remnants of pleasure spilling out. The grip around her ankle was brutal, painful, throbbing.

“…”

Slowly, the strength left his hand. The muscles in his taut neck and shoulders visibly relaxed. And Danae burst into laughter.

“What a spectacle.”

At the end of his miserable pleasure, Raios collapsed onto the floor. He lay face down like a defeated man, hiding his face against his broad back as he struggled to catch his pitiful breath.

“I told you to pay for your sin.” Though she’d deliberately provoked him, Danae sneered sharply. “And you go and finish by yourself.”

“…”

“Such a pervert.”

“…”

“Isn’t this a bit much? Raios, say something.”

After a moment, Raios stirred slightly while still prone. “I’m sorry.” Once again. “I’m sorry…” He apologized. Then he slowly lifted his head.

When their gazes met, Danae was truly shocked this time. She’d expected his face to be crushed by shame and self-loathing.

“I’m sorry.”

But his blue eyes were engulfed in raw savagery.

“I’m truly sorry.”

Raios reached out and grabbed her knee. Pried it open like a door. “I’ll apologize in advance.” Before she could even react, his hand slid upward. Brushing her thigh, he gripped her garter belt.

“Raios, wait—”

In one swift motion, Raios yanked it down. And threw it aside.
