I’m Trying to End This Possession Chapter 272
Dana liked the feeling of Rumie’s hand. In her good mood, she rubbed her cheek against it like a cat. “Your hand is warm, Brother.”
His large, strong hand even had an elegant beauty.
Dana slowly guided his stone-hard hand downward. “It’s really warm.”
His hot body heat brushed along her jawline and slid down to envelop the smooth nape of her neck. Thump, thump. She could feel his thumb trembling, covering the pulse beating in her neck. That nervousness pleased her.
“It feels nice…” Letting out a low laugh, Dana gently pulled his hand down onto her shoulder.
His hand was truly incredible. A shiver ran down her spine as his fingertips brushed her collarbone. It was a sweetness so intense it felt as though her body might melt. If only it would continue below her collarbone, pulling the fabric downward… A warm breath escaped her lips.
“And you?”
The cool air brushed the tip of her exposed chest, but it soon became warm. The sight of her rounded flesh rising into his hand like a white moon was unbearably stimulating. It was too much to fit even within his large grasp, yet even that scene felt like foreplay.
“How do you feel, Brother?”
“…”
“You don’t dislike it, do you?”
Rumie seemed completely overwhelmed by the moment. It was as if even his breathing had stopped by the soft skin pressed beneath his hand, by the yielding sensation beneath his touch. Or perhaps he had simply been too shocked by her brazen behavior…
Either way, Dana’s thirst only grew stronger. It wasn’t enough. She wished he would grip her with more strength, clutch her passionately, caress her, overcome with desire. Just like before. Like in the previous timeline, when he had been preparing to marry her…
At that moment, Rumie’s hand trembled sharply, as though seized by a spasm. Then he hurriedly shook off Dana’s hand and pulled her clothing back up where it had slipped down. Afterward, he rubbed his face with both hands. A moment later, when he slowly lowered them, Rumie’s expression had become solemn, almost priest-like. “Danaena Rolland.”
“Yes.”
“You’re not in your right mind.”
“I know.”
“What you just did to me was seriously wrong.”
“I know.”
“No, you don’t. I have no idea what you’re thinking, but whatever it is, treating me like this is not right.”
“I see…”
Listening absentmindedly to his lecture, Dana simply admired him. Even that rigidly hardened face was intoxicating. As though wrapped in clear starlight, Dana drifted into a daze.
“You’re really handsome, Brother.”
“…What?”
Leaving him flustered, she continued to admire him. The line of his face, flowing down from his hair, resembled silver threads in the moonlight, soft and smooth. Following those delicate curves downward, one eventually reached the firm line of his neck, his prominent Adam’s apple, and the broad shoulders extending straight and proud. It was astonishing how intensely masculine and sensual he appeared.
The man before her was overwhelmingly captivating. A man like that had once tried to seduce her. Just as she was doing to him now, there had once been a time when he had seduced her too. It was several years ago, before he lost his memories.
Where was it? I think that place was an island too. Back when he was not Rumie Rolland, but Rumie Windsor… Back when he was Danaena Windsor’s cousin. He had pinned her down and pressed his body against hers…
That past felt unreal now, like a strangely seductive dream. Back then, Dana had been far too sane, far too rational. If she had been half-crazed as she was now, she would have pretended to resist and swallowed him whole. The intimate sensation of their hips fitting tightly together, his firmness, his weight, even his warm body heat. Just remembering it made her toes tingle. Even the tip of her tongue felt hot. It was like being drunk on sweet liquor.
“I’m so cold right now.” Maybe going crazy wasn’t such a bad thing after all. Thinking that, Dana grasped the end of his sleeve. “If you hugged me, Brother, I’d be warm.” Then she tugged gently as if luring him. Toward the deeper part of the alley, into the secluded shadows where anything a man and woman did could remain hidden in secret. “Right?”
Dana knew her voice was thick with blatant desire. No, in truth, she had already done something that was practically seduction. But so what? She wants him right now. But who am I again? She couldn’t remember. Still, it didn’t matter.
* * *
Inside the carriage he waited quietly, like a dog on a leash. Truthfully, there had been no need for him to follow her. This body had also inherited Demian’s eyesight. Even after they disappeared into the secluded alley, he could still see everything.
Rumie had pushed Dana into the alley where passersby could not see her and shielded her with his own body. But barely, just barely, Dana remained within Demian’s field of vision. Unfortunately, he could not hear what they were saying.
What exactly was Dana doing? This isn’t the time for you to be distracted by other things…
His feelings had gone beyond mere disappointment and become dissatisfaction. She should at least change her clothes first. Any man confronted with that pearl-like radiant skin and those abundant curves like a goddess of temptation would think the same thing. Was Rumie any different?
Dana, you need to focus. Should you really be paying attention to some other man?
Demian had guessed Dana’s plan. He had realized it when he saw her purchasing several jewels that resembled holy relics at the jewelry store. After taking the relic from Spring Water Island, she planned to replace it so that no one would notice it had been stolen.
How had Dana learned about the relic of Spring Water Island? Demian was curious, but he didn’t ask. It seemed she had not wanted him to know about her plan, so he intended to pretend ignorance.
She’s making such an important plant, yet she’s getting distracted by Rumie.
That was probably why Dana was being swept away as well. Rumie was extraordinarily handsome. Still, seeing her seduce Rumie shocked Demian deeply. And it hardened his resolve.
Dana simply didn’t know. She didn’t know. Even if she learned who Rumie’s biological father is, would she still look at him in the same way? So for her sake, he intended to tell her. That Rumie was not as noble as she believed. Conveniently, Rumie’s biological father happened to be on this island right now.
Demian stared at Rumie’s hand with eyes burning with jealousy. How blissful must it feel? Rumie was probably trapped in a sweetness so overwhelming it numbed his thoughts. And Demian knew that feeling. The heavy fullness filling one’s hand. The softness was so delicate that it felt as though the touched area might melt. But was that all?
Suddenly, Demian’s mouth went dry. He knew what it would feel like on the tip of his tongue as well. He knew all of it… But could he ever know it again? Before he disappears completely? No. I can’t be greedy.
There was only one reason Demian had endured the human experiments he despised so much and remained in this world even as a fragment. Only one. To apologize to Dana, pay for his sins, be forgiven by her, and be less hated by her. That was all it was supposed to be. And yet, Demian did not even know when he had lowered one hand, nor when he had begun to move. He only knew that Dana was beautiful, and that he himself was disgusting. Maybe, just as Dana had said, he truly was sick.
Whenever Demian looked at her, it was always like this. Always. Ever since the very first moment he saw her. Always…
A pale layer of condensation formed on the window.
“Ah, Honey…”
At the end of the desire that had finally reached its climax, Demian gasped as warmth enveloped him. As he bent forward sharply, tears fell to the floor with soft pattering sounds. He stared blankly at the traces he left behind. Then suddenly, he realized something.
This was not the end. At the end of one desire, another was waiting for him. Something far greater. Far hotter than this.
Demian wanted to be with her. It didn’t matter if she hated him, if she beat him every time, or if she treated him like a dog. He just wanted to remain by her side. And he didn’t want to disappear.
