The Prince Seduces Me with His Body Chapter 146
Side Story
No matter how much people say life never goes as planned, isn’t this just a bit too much? When they first set out, this trip was supposed to be nothing more than a quiet vacation and a honeymoon…
“D-Don’t be scared! It’s just three of them!”
Diana blinked in disbelief. But the soldiers rushing in with determined faces—far more than just three—were still filling her vision. Then, from her left, a fierce voice tinged with laughter rang out.
“They’re coming at us like that. Wouldn’t it be impolite to dodge now, would it?” As he murmured, Kayden conjured a sword glowing with white light and grasped it tightly.
From Diana’s right, another mocking voice followed. “If only the people knew what kind of man their emperor really was, they’d stop calling him a ‘wise ruler’ without reason.”
And why exactly are you summoning a spirit too? Diana swallowed her question as she stared at Salamander, the high-level fire spirit Rebecca had called forth. It snorted and stomped as if responding to its master’s fighting spirit.
Diana’s vision blurred. Why are they both so eager to fight instead of preventing the war? She couldn’t help but sigh.

To explain this chaos, you must go back a few days.
“Your Majesty…”
It was in the heart of the capital, Barha, at the front gate of the central palace. Chamberlain Patrasche cast a look full of lingering regret at Emperor Kayden, who was cloaked in a worn travel robe. Nearly on the verge of tears, he threatened, “If you don’t return by the agreed time, I’ll resign too… I’ll let the empire fall apart, no matter what! Do you understand?”
“How many times do I have to say I got it?”
“You really mean it…? I trust you…”
“But if you keep making me waste time like this, I might change my min—”
“Gasp! That’s it! You’re saying you’ll be late now! Aren’t you?!”
“…”
Kayden pushed away the whining Patrasche, who’d been nagging for nearly an hour, suppressing the curses rising in his throat. In contrast, Diana and Head Maid Belladova stood nearby, calmly exchanging farewells. Belladova, like Kayden, was in plain clothes and bowed politely to Diana.
“Please enjoy your rest.”
“Thank you. Please tell your husband that I’m sorry.”
“Ahem.”
At Diana’s teasing tone, Belladova quickly cleared her throat. But the faint blush on her cheeks betrayed her, drawing a smile to Diana’s lips.
“When we return, let’s write a new contract, Diana.”
Two years had passed since Xavier Findlay’s schemes had ended, and Diana and Kayden had exchanged new vows. They had originally planned to hold a proper wedding at the time of the coronation, but it had proven impossible due to numerous issues.
“We can’t leave the throne vacant for too long.”
“There’s a mountain of work to be done due to Xavier’s betrayal…”
First of all, they were just too busy. The rooms were filled to overflowing with pending matters awaiting approval, all thanks to the former Duke Findlay, now traitor Xavier. Moreover, only Patrasche and Viscount Sudsfield knew that Kayden and Diana’s marriage had initially been contractual. With everything already so chaotic, revealing that fact would only have stirred more unrest—something both Kayden and Diana agreed to avoid. So they postponed the wedding and focused on governing… Little did they expect that two years would fly by so quickly.
“I can’t stand this anymore.”
Since his coronation, Kayden had endured constant duties—punishing criminals, redistributing noble titles, revising distorted historical records… Until at last, his patience ran dry. Losing his cool, he threatened the court, and his ministers—who’d secretly enjoyed how diligent the emperor was—reluctantly agreed to grant him a week-long vacation.
“It only matters to us anyway. Let’s hold the wedding quietly, just the two of us.”
“Sounds good. By the way, I heard about the first prince… I mean, Grand Duke Verdel, has turned his estate into a beautiful resort, so let’s stop by. I’d love to see the ocean again.”
Diana and Kayden decided to treat this one-week vacation as a honeymoon. They would first hold a small wedding in a small rural village, then travel to the estate of Grand Duke Elliot Verdell and Grand Duchess Fleur.
Today was the day of departure.
“…I’ve promised to visit home often, so it’ll be fine.”
In the past two years, Belladova had finally married the man she had long held feelings for, and she was now the proud Marchioness Rezeta. Everyone in the palace knew how affectionate the couple was.
Seeing Belladova pretend to be nonchalant despite her blushing cheeks, Diana laughed again. Belladova gave a mock glare, then smiled along.
“If anything happens, please send a contact through Wings. Though honestly, I’m sure His Majesty would come find Your Majesty before I even could. There are still things I’m not satisfied with, but I can’t deny his competence.”
“Yes. I’ll be back.”
After waving to Belladova, Diana disappeared with Kayden, who had finally shaken off Patrasche, using Muf’s barrier. They reappeared in a bustling city street.
“How long has it been since we breathed fresh air like this?”
“Right? We’ve actually been busier than ever, just preparing for this vacation.”
Diana nodded to Kayden’s comment and took a deep breath. Though she’d always thought serving the empire came first, she welcomed the free air.
Kayden turned to her with a cheerful grin, like an excited boy. “Anywhere you want to go? The real trip starts tomorrow morning, so let’s make the most of today.”
“Hmm… well, since it’s technically our honeymoon…” After thinking for a moment, Diana smiled mischievously—an expression unusual for her. “Somewhere physical.”
“Cough. …What?” Kayden choked.
* * *
“…You said somewhere physical.”
“Well, it is. A physical place.”
Diana tried hard to suppress her laughter. Kayden’s sulky face only grew more annoyed.
“Oh my, it’s been a while! Welcome!”
They had arrived at a sports and entertainment center—the same place they had visited on the night of their marriage ceremony.
“Since it’s our wedding night, we should move our bodies a bit instead of just sleeping.”
Diana remembered that misleading line from Kayden and decided to tease him with it.
Despite being warmly welcomed and led to a private room, Kayden continued to grumble. “You know you hold a grudge, right?”
“Well, who told you to say something like that? Who was it who said ‘It’s our wedding night, we should move our bodies’?”
“I trusted you… How could you betray my trust?”
“You’re just a pervert, Kayden.”
“Am I the only pervert? Was I the only one who enjoyed it?”
“…” Diana looked away. She couldn’t bring herself to deny it, since she had, in fact, enjoyed it. Her conscience pricked at her.
In the end, Kayden slumped onto a sofa instead of picking up a ball. “Whatever. I’ll just sit here and referee.”
“If that happens, I’ll be playing alone, so what’s the point of a referee? Get up.”
“My heart is broken from being toyed with…” Pretending to cry, Kayden slowly lay down on the sofa and turned his back to her.
Diana stared at his pitiful back in disbelief. “What the… Are you going to keep acting like a child?”
“…”
“Kayden?”
But now, he didn’t even respond. A silent protest.
Diana was baffled, then gave in. I guess I was the one who misunderstood that night… Feeling a bit guilty, she crouched in front of the sofa and poked his broad back.
“You know I was joking, right? Sorry if I disappointed you.”
Kayden still remained silent.
Rolling her eyes, Diana finally spoke. “Well, um… how about we make a bet on the game or something…?”
“Really?”
“Wha—Huh?”
Before she could finish, he sprang up, smiling with triumph. Kayden had already sat up, looking at her with a meaningful smile.
“Ah.” She had been tricked again.
Diana sighed in belated realization, but it was too late. Because she’d fallen for his crocodile tears, she ended up being stuck with Kayden the whole day.
Thus began their honeymoon full of schemes and intrigue.
