Like always, when one piece of bait floats to the surface, countless people latch onto it.

But when there are too many cooks, the ship goes to the mountains.

Just as all sorts of creative nonsense was scattering beautifully like cherry blossom petals.

One theory post arrived for MILLENNIUM, who had been waiting for a brilliant Conan.

It was content that comprehensively and rationally theorized about the scenes used in the music video, hidden meanings in the lyrics, and even CENTIX’s future direction.

[〈HOT!〉 Hidden points of 〈Chronic〉 I organized because I wanted to see them.txt (Long post, lots of speculation, CMIIW) +566]

1. Music Video (Hourglass)

Honestly, as everyone could tell, the core of the music video was the ‘hourglass.’ It appeared in that brief moment in the pre-released teaser too, and it’s also the hourglass that saves Ha-ru in the latter half.

CENTIX’s etymology also includes 100 years of time, and the song continuously repeats content about time, so why did they choose specifically an hourglass as their object?

Looking at the direction in the music video gives us some answers.

This is a comparison shot of the Milky Way in the very beginning versus the Milky Way in the latter half of the song.

You can clearly feel that the color changed, right? From white to blue.

The timing when this direction occurs is exactly Ha-ru’s lake scene.

Ha-ru falls into the water → Direction showing the world flipping upside down → The blue stars that had changed fill the water completely.

It developed in this sequence, and this is almost identical to flipping an hourglass. The white stars (sand at the top of the hourglass) flip downward and change to blue (sand at the bottom of the hourglass). In other words, that Milky Way itself was inside an hourglass, and thanks to the stars that turned blue, CENTIX in the music video was able to taste liberation.

2. Why specifically blue?

This is simple too. CENTIX & MILLENNIUM’s official color is blue, specifically sky blue, right? The person who will save me trapped in time, meaning the blue stars inside the hourglass. That most likely represents us (MILLENNIUM). I wrote the details in the lyrics theory section 3.

3. Lyrics

As mentioned in Reality episode 2, the CENTIX members directly participated in writing lyrics. They said they incorporated messages each member wanted to convey, so I guessed which parts those might be and several verses caught my eye.

—Try a hundred times? Huh no, I could do it a thousand times more, Cause you’re my savior ―〉 Seon-woo’s rap part lyrics. “A hundred times is nothing, I could do a thousand times more” – why did they specifically pick the numbers 100 and 1000? CENTIX’s Century = 100, MILLENNIUM’s Millennium = 1000. Understand?

—Flip my world upside down ―〉 Ha-ru’s part. This isn’t related to MILLENNIUM, but through the description of flipping upside down, it further emphasizes the impact of the hourglass.

—Even if a thousand years pass, I’ll be here ―〉Ha-woon’s part. 1000 mentioned again.

—Move my world, soak it with your unique color ―〉 Hwi and Si-hyeok’s part. This also hints at the color change of stars in the hourglass while describing how MILLENNIUM’s sky blue saves the world.

—Cause you’re my savior ―〉 A phrase that appeared many times, but Si-hwan’s part at the end gives a sense of conclusion. Combining everything that’s come up so far, the blue shining stars (MILLENNIUM) save CENTIX trapped in time = meaning we are the saviors. This formula is established!

……

This is a bit of my excessive speculation, but the album name Revelation can be interpreted as both ‘exposure’ and ‘apocalypse’ used in revelations. In the music video, CENTIX was each ‘confined’ in different spaces, right? Then they were liberated through the hourglass containing blue stars (MILLENNIUM).

Simply put, what CENTIX is conveying in this album is most likely ‘escaping from confinement through new revelation.’ Then naturally you’d wonder what the next album concept will be, and I think it’d be convenient to imagine what they’ll do after escaping confinement. In other words, there’s a high possibility the next album will reveal CENTIX’s unique colors even more.

Everyone was enthusiastic about this high-quality post that was definitely different from the theories that had been uploaded to the community so far.

Rather than just thoughts in their heads, they brought actual music video scenes and lyrics while providing reasonable evidence.

Idol fans who couldn’t dislike this kind of deep dive left frantic comments.

—I got goosebumps all over, it’s been a while since I’ve seen such a thoughtful and easily understandable Conan post

—No, at this level LOL this is seriously a real company insider who got frustrated watching us post crap theories and leaked the answer, right? Everything fits too perfectly lol

└???: I came to end this war

—The hourglass interpretation and the star color change direction interpretation were insane, but the lyrics the CENTIX members wrote shocked and moved me the most T_T T_T They put us in their first album’s first title song

└Seriously…… Honestly I flinched every time the rescue lyrics came up, but once the evidence appeared, my suspicion turned to certainty and I got goosebumps

└From the CENTIX members’ perspective, it must have been us viewers who saved them from their long trainee period, so that’s probably why they kept repeating the words my savior

└I’m actually crying

└These foolish fan-loving idiots……

└It’s not even a fan song but they embedded this kind of implicit love in the title track, what a literary idol group that’s ‘CENTIX’

The euphoria of various puzzles fitting together perfectly contributed to this atmosphere dyed in enthusiasm.

But ultimately, everything came back to the fact that they had put gratitude toward fans in their debut album’s title song.

It was an even more refreshing shock because the lyrics didn’t greatly deviate from the song’s overall context.

—Wow but the others wrote well too but Kang Seon-woo is seriously talented, really amazing

└A hundred times is nothing, I can do a thousand times more! 〈― I teared up here T_T

└They were drawing the big picture from the moment they put numbers in CENTIX’s name lol

└Rave you bastard…… You were looking at all of this, weren’t you

└It’s amazing that an idol who just debuted pulled off this kind of expression, and doing it in such a short time is the most incredible

—Lol ah I’m so happy, yesterday they proved their amazing skills through music show live performance and individual fan cams, today their lyric-writing skills were proven through this Conan post…… There’s nothing but things that shut up the haters, so happy

└Hey Zefa, raise your head! Getting your title stolen by CENTIX isn’t something to be ashamed of!

└I hope when I wake up tomorrow morning and check the hit chart, it shows exactly 600k copies

└Everyone, in that spirit let’s work hard streaming the song & music video, we need to get CENTIX into the 100 million view club too

MILLENNIUM, whose every day was a continuous festival, scattered to find their respective tasks with light hearts.

Some went to participate in pre-recording for music shows.

Some streamed GrapeFruit charts.

And some fumbled for their wallets while waiting for the upcoming fan signing event announcement.

* * *

“MILLENNIUM, thank you again today!”

“The fan chant was the best!”

“Please definitely watch the live broadcast later! Thank you!”

Today was Sunday.

CENTIX successfully wrapped up their first week of music show activities.

The boys who had initially communicated somewhat awkwardly with fans now waved their hands quite skillfully or blew hearts as they exited.

I patted the boys’ shoulders with a grin.

“Everyone, good work today too.”

“Brother Si-hwan worked hard too!”

“I really wasn’t nervous today. I think it was a satisfying stage.”

“Mm, mm.”

Yu Ha-woon and Ma Si-hyeok, who belonged to the relatively weak mental category, also smiled brightly as they took their in-ears out of their ears.

While everyone was organizing their equipment and drinking water, Seong-hwi alone was leaning toward the waiting room corridor.

“Why are you trying to leave already? We should all go together.”

“I want to check quickly.”

“You kept looking until right before going on stage. And doesn’t that update every 20 or 30 minutes?”

“It’s been quite a while since pre-recording started, so I need to check quickly.”

The reason Seong-hwi was in such a hurry was obvious.

To check the hit chart showing our initial sales.

Last night, on the 5th day of initial sales calculation, CENTIX had surpassed Zefa’s male idol group debut album initial sales record.

As of the 5th day, our debut album 〈Revelation〉 had sold a total of 620,000 copies.

A debut initial sales record, of course, and an incredible figure that entered the top 10 of all-time initial sales.

But the even scarier part was that we still had 2 more days left.

Whether we could break through the wall of 680,000 copies – the throne of TOP 5 that MILLENNIUM had been aiming for on the 6th day, today – was naturally the center of unprecedented attention.

And Seong-hwi was naturally obsessing over that ranking.

“Si-hyeok, how long are you going to keep organizing clothes~?”

“I’ll, I’ll be quick. The transmitter pack got tangled while taking it off—”

“Yawn, making me yawn.”

“Si-hyeok, ignore that crazy guy and take your time.”

“Yes.”

Today’s stage outfit was white outfits & harnesses.

Since the harness outfits from the music video and first music show had received tremendous reactions, our styling team was in the process of fusing various outfits with harnesses.

So sometimes there were cases like Ma Si-hyeok where the harness lines got tangled.

“Done, all untangled.”

“Waiting room, waiting room, waiting room! Quickly, quickly!”

“Hwi, Brother Hwi! Don’t push so hard!”

Seong-hwi, who had hotly pushed Yu Ha-woon all the way to the waiting room, immediately grabbed the phone he’d left on the table.

We stood behind him without saying anything and looked at the screen.

“Hit chart, hit chart. Okay, CENTIX here, CENTIX……”

The hit chart, which updates in real-time every 20 minutes, showed 〈Revelation〉’s initial sales figures after a brief loading period.

The number written at the end of the beautiful upward curve was.

“6, 680,000 copies.”

“What.”

“Am I seeing this wrong?”

“What did you say?”

When the figure 680,000 came out of Seong-hwi’s mouth, everyone was in disbelief.

Because initial sales of 680,000 copies means…….

“We took 5th place in all-time initial sales.”

I confirmed the kill with a calm tone.

Silence flowed in our waiting room for a while.

Cerberus, who had been sitting on the sofa in transparent mode, watched the members standing there with their mouths hanging open and covered his mouth while chuckling.

{Isn’t this really good news, Master? But why isn’t anyone saying anything?}

‘These guys are naturally slow at processing.’

{Interesting, they look like they’ve been hit by gargoyle petrification!}

“Hey, hey, Si-hwan. Us hitting 680,000 copies right now means—”

“Yeah. We still have one more day of initial sales calculation left, so we can even look toward 700,000 copies or more.”

“What do we do, are we crazy! Everyone, we’re crazy! Crazy!”

Starting with Kang Seon-woo’s fuss, the guys who had been out of it slowly woke up.

“Hahahaha! Hey, Ma Si-hyeok, I told you yesterday, we’ll definitely surpass 650,000 copies today.”

“Ah, that hurts.”

“Don’t forget the bet we made! You’re doing all the dishes alone today!”

“I’ll do the dishes alone, so stop hitting me please?”

“Ahaha, your back is so wide!”

It seemed Seong-hwi and Ma Si-hyeok had even made a bet yesterday.

Seong-hwi, who won the bet, was hitting Ma Si-hyeok’s back like a frenzied drummer.

“Hah, I’m losing strength.”

“Me, me too. I can’t believe it.”

On the opposite end, Chae Ha-ru and Yu Ha-woon were drooping as they lay on the sofa, as if all the tension remaining in their bodies had drained out.

{Uwah, why are they suddenly coming this way!}

Because of that, Cerberus almost got into trouble.

I nodded once to Cerberus who had climbed onto my shoulder and felt this joy in my heart.

‘The pace is much more overwhelming than I imagined. The situation couldn’t be going better than this.’

And the one who appeared in front of us cheering more intensely than anyone else was our manager.

“Everyone, you did it, you did it! 680,000 copies on the 6th day, this is really amazing! Hahaha!”

“So what did you prepare this time to commemorate it?”

“Ah, Ha-ru. Let me taste the moment of joy too!”

While grumbling that quick-witted kids are annoying, our manager handed me the bag he’d been holding.

When I received it with a puzzled expression, he even threw in a cute wink.

“Open it and read it.”

“Ah, yes.”

When I opened the bag with impressive green wrapping, a letter with a message written on it came out.

“Hello, CENTIX. The emergence of monster rookies who are literally causing a massive explosion in the current music scene – we’re so happy! With that meaning, we wonder if we’re worthy enough to dare give you this invitation, but still, since tradition is tradition, we’ll shout it out. We invite monster rookies CENTIX to 〈Weekly Idol〉!”

“〈Weekly Idol〉 means……?”

“That’s right, Hwi.”

Our manager maintained his bright smile while continuing to throw winks.

His skills rivaled any female idol.

“Your first official variety show appearance!”
