Wandering Through Vol. 2 Chapter 38 - Karma 🔞

Author: Nikss

A petite woman sat between the legs of a large man.

The voluminous skirt that draped down to the floor concealed the man’s member protruding from his waistband and the woman’s lower body that was swallowing it.

From a distance, they simply looked like an affectionate couple embracing.

Only up close could one notice how flushed the woman’s cheeks were.

In truth, the only person allowed into the inner quarters was a single maid, and even she never entered outside of mealtimes.

Yiseo knew well that no one would see them, whether from near or far.

But even knowing no one would witness this, she had no desire to be taken with the windows wide open in broad daylight.

“Could you… close the door… please?”

Yiseo stammered, clutching the back of Leegwang’s hand as it pressed against her stomach.

But instead of moving, he pulled her deeper into his embrace and whispered.

“Once before, I touched your cheek right here.”

His lips, trailing along her collar, sucked at the nape of her neck. Yiseo shivered at the deepening roughness of his voice.

“Do you remember?”

“N-No…”

He gave a small thrust. As his member drove deeper inside her, Yiseo gasped before quickly clamping her mouth shut. She knew no one was around, but sounds could still betray them.

“You definitely opened your eyes and looked at me then.”

With a firm push inward, he began rocking his hips in slow, deliberate motions.

Yiseo covered her mouth with both hands. The overwhelming stimulation forced a moan to escape her lips.

“I almost… ngh… took you right then and there…”

She pressed her hands tighter over her mouth and squeezed her eyes shut. Though she couldn’t see, she could feel every movement of his member pounding into her.

It was better than the shame of seeing the wide-open space around them.

Each deep thrust turned her mind blank. Her body helplessly followed the grip on her waist, feeling as though her insides were being crushed.

Lost in his embrace, she had no idea how much time had passed.

The only thing she could do was keep her hands over her mouth as she was shaken senselessly by his movements.

But then, at some point, he pulled her hands away, gripped her chin, and turned her face to claim her lips.

Every moan she tried to release was swallowed whole.

“Mmph…!”

A large hand pressed down on her lower abdomen. The thick flesh buried deep inside her pulsed as it released a flood of seed.

Yiseo was kissed hungrily above while being filled below.

“Hng… ah…”

The sensation of seed flowing inside her stomach always felt strange, no matter how many times she experienced it.

Yiseo involuntarily squirmed.

Even as he finished, he kept thrusting his hips upward until he finally stopped. The lips that had stolen her breath also pulled away.

Yiseo leaned against his chest, gasping for air.

“Haa, aah…”

She tried not to focus on the member still inside her even after he had finished. She had learned not to move carelessly—too many times, she had shifted only to feel that hardened flesh stirring inside her again.

It was better not to provoke it now.

Leegwang wrapped his arms tightly around Yiseo, who lay quietly in his embrace.

“It’s a good thing I held back then. Once I started, I wouldn’t have been able to stop.”

He pressed his lips to her ear and whispered, “If that had happened, a child would have taken root. And if that had happened, your life wouldn’t have been safe either.”

Yiseo’s fate had already been sealed—she wasn’t meant to live past twenty-one. Now that that time had passed, she couldn’t form any new bonds.

Of course, she couldn’t bear children.

But even before she turned twenty-one, her body could not sustain a child. Why was he saying such things?

As she blinked in confusion, he added nonchalantly,

“Well, you were fated to have at least one child with you.”

So even with such a weak body, she could’ve had one child.

The words felt so unreal that Yiseo absentmindedly placed a hand on her stomach. But Leegwang moved her hand away and muttered,

“Not anymore, though.”

“Her Ladyship isn’t here.”

Nanny Yeongseon was exasperated as she faced the servants blocking the door.

“What do you mean she isn’t? I saw her come in just now and followed her.”

“Ah, well, she’s not here. Nanny Yeongseon, you should go back.”

“It’s getting hotter outside, at least take this for your health—”

“Before the madam scolds you for wandering around, you should just go back…”

Even if Yiseo hadn’t left the inner quarters in the ten years since her marriage, Nanny Yeongseon, who had to attend to her, naturally moved about the house freely.

Meals didn’t appear out of thin air like magic, after all.

Since Yiseo wasn’t treated as the proper lady of the house, Nanny Yeongseon had to work even harder to care for her.

So she knew all the servants well.

Just last year, the servants who used to see each other face-to-face every day now subtly avoided Nanny Yeongseon’s gaze and pushed her out the gate.

Perhaps out of embarrassment, they shoved various things into her hands as they forced her out, but Nanny Yeongseon threw them all to the ground and shouted.

“What do you mean, nothing’s wrong? Nothing’s wrong, my foot!”

Nanny Yeongseon’s furious scream echoed loudly through the street.

“What happened to our young lady? What happened, I ask! After raising her like a cow or a chicken for ten years, why are you taking her away now?”

Passersby turned their heads at the commotion. The servants of the grand prince’s household panicked and hurriedly grabbed Nanny Yeongseon.

“Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?”

“Aigoo! Nanny Yeongseon, please stop…”

“Don’t embarrass us out here…!”

Eyes gathered from all directions.

The servants restraining Nanny Yeongseon glared around fiercely.

After all, a servant’s authority follows their master’s—as servants of the grand prince’s household, they could afford to be a little intimidating when it came to household discipline.

Under their sharp glares, the onlookers scattered.

“Mother!”

Suddenly, Youngsun rushed in and grabbed Nanny Yeongseon.

The servants quickly pushed her toward Youngsun. Unable to bring herself to shove her daughter away, Nanny Yeongseon was dragged off by Youngsun’s hand, forced to leave the grand prince’s gate.

Once they were far enough from the grand prince’s residence, Youngsun abruptly let go of her mother’s arm.

“You said you were going to see the madam, so why were you there, Mother?”

“…”

“If you keep acting like this, it’s hard for me too. Didn’t the madam tell you to stay quiet? Why do you keep making a scene?”

Nanny Yeongseon lifted her head at her daughter’s scolding. Her wrinkled eyes were bloodshot red.

“You… How can you say that? The young lady was so good to you. Neither you nor the madam should act this way.”

“…”

“Why is everyone so cruel to the young lady…?”

A person had disappeared, yet no one was looking for her—no one even knew when she had vanished.

While searching for Yiseo, Nanny Yeongseon once grabbed a servant by the hair and wrestled them to the ground for joking that she might have gone into the mountains to hang herself.

There are things you can say and things you can’t—how dare they call such vile words a joke?

No matter how much she pressed Youngsun about when she last saw Yiseo, the only answer was “I don’t know.”

When told her daughter had disappeared, the madam only retorted, “My daughter is already dead—what nonsense are you talking about?”

After questioning everyone in the marketplace to see if anyone had spotted her, Nanny Yeongseon heard a rumor that the grand prince had kidnapped a short woman.

Listening carefully, suspicion grew, and she sought out Old Lady Shanggung. Though she was grasping at straws without certainty, the awkward expression on Old Lady Shanggung’s usually cold face gave Nanny Yeongseon the confirmation she needed.

The grand prince, who had abandoned the young lady, had taken her away.

Throughout their entire marriage, he had treated her with such cold neglect—and now, he had kidnapped her. She couldn’t even begin to imagine what the young lady might be enduring inside that house.

Just the thought of it made her vision blur, and the fact that no one else seemed to care about the young lady made her feel like she was the one going mad.

“Mother, let’s say the young lady really is in that house, like you claim. So what? What’s wrong with the husband taking his wife back…?”

“What husband?! Once he abandoned her, that was the end! Once he abandoned her—!”

Youngsun fell silent, cowed by her mother’s intensity.

“That bastard threw her away when it suited him and snatched her back when it pleased him—how can you believe for a second that the young lady is safe with him?!”

“Enough, Mother!”

Horrified that her mother had just called the grand prince a bastard, Youngsun glanced around before hissing at her. She glared at her mother in silence for a long moment before abruptly turning away.

“The madam isn’t making a fuss, so why must you step forward? Please, just worry about me, Mother.”

Nanny Yeongseon wiped her face with her sleeve as she watched her daughter walk away.

The weather was fine, yet she couldn’t understand why her vision kept swimming.

Staring at the ground beneath the clear blue sky, a pair of embroidered silk shoes suddenly appeared in front of her.

Thinking she had accidentally blocked the path of some nobleman’s daughter, she stepped aside—but the shoes followed.

When she looked up, a finely dressed young noblewoman smiled warmly at her.

“Good day.”

“Do you… have business with me?”

It was strange. Nanny Yeongseon had never seen this woman before.

Judging by the group of servants trailing behind her, it didn’t seem like she had any menial tasks for Nanny Yeongseon.

Yet the noblewoman gently caught Nanny Yeongseon’s hesitant words with a soft but firm tone.

“I do have business with you.”

Her voice was gentle, but the meaning behind it was anything but.

“You’re the nursemaid of the woman who stole my husband, aren’t you? Am I correct?”
