The set of a film magazine interview.
I sat on the cozy office sofa side by side with Do Changhyeon, conducting the interview.
Although the film was still in the middle of the editing process, at the magazine’s request to be first to secure the interview, we’d agreed to do it in advance.
Once the film premiered on iTube, the interview would probably go live immediately.
“I heard Changhyeon-ssi became incredibly immersed in this project. Were there aspects of the character you related to?”
The interviewer looked at Do Changhyeon and asked.
Do Changhyeon smiled a bit sheepishly and answered.
“When you watch the film later, you’ll see… Jeong Haeseon’s character is frustrating because he’s just endlessly kind with no rhyme or reason to it.”
“Ah, is that so?”
“Yes. I also used to get swept up by situations without having my own opinions, often worrying too much about the image others saw.”
The interviewer made an intrigued expression.
I also quietly listened while watching Do Changhyeon.
Do Changhyeon was responding to the interview more candidly than expected.
“At that point, I became deeply immersed in Jeong Haeseon… and clashing with Tak Yeowon, who was so drastically different from him, I felt like parts of myself were shattering.”
“Truly method acting in every sense.”
“Yes. While filming, I felt like I myself was changing… that sort of sensation.”
I hadn’t anticipated things going this deep—it was somewhat surprising.
In the serious atmosphere, Do Changhyeon scratched his cheek and laughed.
“I always seem to undergo major changes when I’m with my mentor.”
Hearing that, the interviewer’s eyes widened.
I also met Do Changhyeon’s gaze with a slightly flustered expression.
Why bring me up so suddenly?
“Wow, we’ve struck gold with this story.”
The interviewer smiled and jotted notes in their small notebook.
Do Changhyeon continued.
“My mentor, just like Tak Yeowon, helped me become a more solid person. So every time I experienced conflict with Tak Yeowon on set and then joined forces with her, it was so emotionally painful… just…”
Do Changhyeon made an exaggerated gesture of clutching his chest.
Everyone in the room laughed simultaneously at that.
“It was so exhausting, and when I’d go home to sleep, I’d even have nightmares.”
“Nightmares?”
I asked while looking at Do Changhyeon.
“Yes. In my dreams, Tak Yeowon kept dying. Because of me.”
“Good grief.”
I shook my head and took a sip of coffee.
“A trace of guilt, then?”
The interviewer nodded, recapping the point.
Do Changhyeon’s expression turned serious again.
“Yes. Various emotions were swirling. Unlike me, she had such clear convictions that I felt jealous…”
I nodded from the side.
It was an understandable emotion.
But before continuing, Do Changhyeon hesitated briefly.
I looked at him.
Do Changhyeon caught my questioning gaze, then opened his mouth again.
“I even felt possessiveness toward Tak Yeowon, who’s always so self-centered and has absolutely no personal relationships.”
Hearing that, I paused mid-reach for my coffee cup.
“Ugh.”
I let out a low groan and stopped lifting the cup.
Why is he being so unnecessarily honest?
People chuckled softly again.
“Changhyeon-ssi, you’re incredibly candid.”
Impressed by the inner thoughts that were rarely shared, the interviewer picked up their notebook once more.
“To maintain focus during filming, I found myself unconsciously avoiding my mentor while trying to guard against those feelings…”
“Wow, I’m getting more and more curious about the film.”
The interviewer marveled at the fascinating behind-the-scenes story.
“What about you, Sena-ssi? You observed Changhyeon-ssi’s method up close, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I did.”
This time the question came to me.
“I received a lot of help during filming thanks to Changhyeon’s method. Though rumors did circulate about us fighting on set…”
I deliberately tossed out the on-set rumor topic.
Do Changhyeon flinched beside me.
It would be much easier for me to address topics that were difficult for Do Changhyeon to bring up.
Plus, it was an issue that needed to be addressed publicly.
The interviewer looked slightly surprised this time too.
“Rumors?”
“Yes, it was just a minor incident. Actors often keep their distance on set for emotional immersion.”
“Right, I’ve heard about that before.”
“But since we met as mentor and mentee through the audition, people seemed to misunderstand that our relationship had soured.”
“Ah, I can see how that could happen. Must have been awkward.”
Do Changhyeon opened his mouth with an embarrassed expression.
“As a member of the crew, I should have handled things more flexibly. I was too inexperienced and caused trouble.”
“It’s not an easy situation to navigate.”
The interviewer smiled slightly and asked the final question.
“Then lastly. As the leads driving iTube Korea’s first original content, what are your thoughts?”
At that, Do Changhyeon spoke up.
“I’m nervous. The accessibility is more convenient for viewers, but I can’t quite predict how the film will land without screens and in this new format.”
The interviewer nodded.
I added my thoughts.
“I feel the same way. It’s like we’ve boarded a ship exploring uncharted territory. It’s exciting too.”
“Even veteran actors feel nervous and excited.”
I smiled awkwardly at that.
“Thank you both so much for the interview. For once, the magazine will be packed with substantial content.”
I stood and shook hands with the interviewer.

A few days later.
[Han Sena’s iTube Content ‘Someone Else’s Life’ Achieves #1 View Count Among Korean Actors!]
[Leading Trends Once Again—Han Sena! Attention Pours Into ‘Someone Else’s Life’]
[NetMate→iTube: Top Star Opens New Horizons]
Before I knew it, ‘Someone Else’s Life’ had achieved phenomenal view counts, with articles flooding in.
Inside the van, I scrolled through the article headlines in a daze.
With reactions far exceeding expectations, even the company was already preparing for the next shoot.
And today, I was heading to a new location for the second filming session.
Jinseok oppa tilted his head while looking at the destination on the navigation.
“Going to all sorts of unusual places.”
“Right?”
“Won’t it be tough? I heard this stuff is surprisingly hard on the body.”
“This is nothing. During film shoots, I ran around all day long.”
At my casual response, Jinseok oppa chuckled.
“Take care of yourself.”
“Yes. By the way, oppa, you got a lot of comments on iTube too, didn’t you?”
Jinseok oppa cleared his throat with an embarrassed expression.
During the last shoot, the camera had captured moments of Jinseok oppa failing to help me mid-attempt.
Fans who already knew my manager, along with viewers who’d seen Jinseok oppa’s comical moments, left quite a few comments.
Most reactions found it funny and cute how someone with his build was so awkward.
“Weird people, seriously.”
Jinseok oppa muttered.
Shortly after, oppa parked and stretched broadly.
“We’re here.”
“Shall we?”
After taking a small breath, I opened the door.

The place we’d arrived at was none other than a pottery workshop.
As I entered the small but charming workshop, the fan who’d submitted the story came over to greet me.
“Wow… Oh my, nice to meet you, Sena-ssi.”
It was a kind-looking man in his 60s.
I smiled warmly and shook his hand.
“I’m being silly at my age, but… I’m such a huge fan of Han Sena-ssi that I submitted the application.”
“Thank you so much. You run this workshop?”
“Yes. Today I’ll teach you pottery making.”
“Yes, I’ll call you Teacher then.”
Following my impromptu teacher inside, I sat in a chair within the workshop.
The teacher brought over a lump of clay and set it down in front of me.
Having never done any craft work before, I rolled up my sleeves with a mixture of excitement and nerves.
“So, what would you like to make?”
“I’m planning to make cups and a few plates.”
“To take home and use?”
“No. Not for me—I want to distribute them to fans at a fan meeting later.”
“Oh, an event?”
The teacher’s eyes sparkled.
“Yes. I’ll draw a few names and give them out.”
“Wow, our actress is amazing!”
The teacher gave a thumbs up toward the camera.
Watching that, the staff and I all laughed together.
“Now then, let’s cut some of this clay…”
The teacher placed clay on the wheel in front of me.
I brought my hands over and started working the clay following the teacher’s movements.
“Huh, is this right…?”
Being clumsy, the cup was turning into a thick, misshapen mess.
This is basically dumbbell-level weight.
The teacher, who’d been quietly watching my cup, delivered a line.
“Our actress doesn’t have much of a knack for this, does she.”
The staff burst into laughter once more.

“Everyone! I’m here!”
“Wow! Alcohol!”
That evening, at a beef restaurant in Seoul.
The restaurant we’d rented out was packed with staff members.
Do Changhyeon and the director, who’d already arrived, waved their hands.
“Did the pottery go well?”
“Oh my, your sleeves are covered in clay.”
“You didn’t haul mud, did you?”
The director and staff each tossed out comments after seeing me.
“Ugh, it wasn’t even on a wheel—I shaped it on a table. But even that was hard.”
“You’re kind of a klutz.”
The staff laughed and handed me a glass.
Soon the lively chatter and the sizzle of grilling meat filled the air.
As everyone quickly got pleasantly tipsy…
Do Changhyeon, with a slightly flushed face, started making rounds to different tables.
“Could I get a glass, please? Art Team Leader.”
“Oh my, Changhyeon-ssi, are you drunk?”
Several staff members chuckled at Do Changhyeon’s behavior, while others watched with neutral expressions.
“I was too stiff during filming… always keeping to myself in corners just to stay focused. I’m sorry.”
Do Changhyeon, glass in hand, bowed his head.
The staff members with neutral expressions gradually softened.
“We heard immersion was tough on you. It’s okay.”
“Thank you so much.”
Do Changhyeon blended into the staff, receiving and downing a glass or two at each table.
Over here, I was sharing drinks with the director and supporting actors…
Amid the overlapping conversations, a familiar voice caught my ear.
“Man, seriously. Tak Yeowon’s Tak Yeowon for a reason.”
A familiar dialect drifted from that direction.
I turned my head toward the sound.
“Hey, let’s bet on view counts. What do you say?”
Definitely that voice from back then.
The voice I’d heard in the recording booth.
After confirming the face, I stood up as if possessed.
It was the actor I’d been searching for—the one who’d vanished after the first day of filming.
A young male supporting actor.
I approached the actor who was chatting excitedly with fellow actors.
“Excuse me…”
As I approached, the conversation at the table cut off abruptly.
When I stared directly at him, the actor made a thoroughly flustered expression.
