To help the residents of the house bond, Jiwoo launched a large-scale farming project.

Before the teamwork began, the White Birds were given a simple task.

Scout the best location from the sky!

─ How about farming here, chirp?

─ There’s a stream over there! It’d be better to plant the seeds on that side, chirp!

The White Birds flew over the wide plains, searching for the best farmland.

And once they found the richest, most fertile soil—

─ Time to scatter the seeds, chirp.

─ Everyone, watch your heads, chirp!

Flying over the fields like helicopters, they spread the seeds evenly.

Next up were the Antmen.

“Alright! On ‘one,’ plant the seed. On ‘two,’ cover it with dirt!”

─ One, ant!

─ Two, ant!

─ One, ant!

─ Two, ant!

The Antmen diligently walked across the fields, planting every seed the birds had scattered.

They even dug channels from a nearby river and built a small irrigation reservoir.

Good. Everything’s going exactly according to plan.

Next came the Black Dolphins.

When Jiwoo first came up with the teamwork project, figuring out a role for them had been the hardest part.

Unlike the White Birds and Antmen, who both lived on land and often clashed,

the Black Dolphins spent their lives peacefully out at sea.

Still, if we’re going to build teamwork, they need a role too… Hmm, what would work?

The answer came surprisingly quickly.

Dongsik returned from the beach, where he’d been sunbathing and swimming, carrying something interesting.

─ Jiwoonyak, look at this, nya! I found something amazing, nya!

[Dongsik wants to give you a present.]

Item

Special Seaweed (Grade B)

A rare type of seaweed that has absorbed the essence of the ocean over many years.

It grows in deep waters, making it difficult to find, but that only makes it more valuable.

Rich in minerals, organic matter, and nutrients, making it perfect as fertilizer.

Effect: Agility +1

Eco-friendly fertilizer!

Jiwoo immediately put the Black Dolphins to work collecting seaweed.

“One hundred pieces each. You can do that, right?”

─ Ooo… A hundred is too many, dol.

“I’ll give you one bag of shrimp chips for every ten.”

─ Everybody move! I’m getting mine first, dol!!

The moment shrimp chips—the Black Dolphins’ favorite snack—were offered as a reward, their eyes lit up as they raced off in search of seaweed.

Once the Black Dolphins returned with their harvest, it was Dongsik’s turn.

But first, a little preparation was needed.

“Dongsik, I can’t even imagine 〈Our Home〉 without you.”

─ Ahem! So you’ve finally realized how great I am, nya!

“Exactly. You’re my right-hand man. You’re the most reliable resident here.”

After receiving such heartfelt praise, Dongsik’s dark shoulders puffed up as high as the sky.

─ Careful, nya! You’re getting dirt over there, nya!

“Hey! The dirt’s only flying because you’re flapping your wings!”

While bickering with Heeseong, who had been recruited as an assistant, the two spent the afternoon drying the seaweed under the blazing sun.

Once the seaweed had dried thoroughly and been cut into small pieces, it was Jiwoo’s turn.

This Month’s NEW ITEM!

Organic Premium Plant Nutrients (20kg / ₩300,000)

Jiwoo clenched his fist and declared,

“I came! I earned! I spent it all!”

Buying the fertilizer made the money he’d earned from countless dungeon raids disappear in an instant.

He almost wanted to cry.

But it couldn’t be helped.

In the long run, this is absolutely necessary.

To create a truly self-sufficient community, food production had to come first.

Jiwoo crushed the dried seaweed into small pieces and mixed it evenly with the organic nutrients.

Then it was the White Birds’ and Antmen’s turn once again.

─ Fertilizer coming through, chirp! Everyone move!

─ Ready, ant!

The White Birds flew overhead, scattering fertilizer across the fields.

Then the Antmen waiting below grabbed their shovels and mixed it into the soil.

As soon as the work was finished, the status window changed.

System

Plains Beyond the Valley

A rich and fertile land where compost has accumulated over many years.

If crops are planted here, every harvest season will be blessed with abundant yields carried by the wind.

Effect: Plant Growth Speed +300%

The system’s changes became obvious almost immediately.

The moment the seeds were planted, tiny sprouts emerged from the soil.

“That’s incredible! They’ll be fully grown in just a few days!”

Heeseong, who had only come to watch, stared in amazement.

Then his eyes gleamed with ambition.

“Noona, there’s still some fertilizer left, right?”

“Yeah… why?”

“Give me some. I want to see if it works on the flower beds too.”

Grinning from ear to ear, Heeseong wheeled away a cart full of fertilizer.

His steps toward the flower garden were unusually cheerful.

“Does he really love farming that much?”

Nobody had asked or forced him to do it, but Heeseong spent most of his time tending the flower beds.

His goal, he claimed, was to fill every inch of them with special flowers.

Well… if we’re going to mass-produce potions, we’ll need a lot of petals.

Not long ago, Jiwoo had received a call from Chairman Seo—Kangwoo’s grandfather.

The potion’s effectiveness had been successfully verified, and a lawyer would soon visit with a business proposal and contract.

If he wanted to, Jiwoo could make an astronomical fortune.

Instead, he decided to sell the potions at a much lower price rather than maximize profits.

As long as my family can live comfortably, that’s enough.

Even with the reduced price, he’d still earn more money than he’d ever seen before.

His family was already living comfortably, and there was no need to worry about the future.

That was more than enough for Jiwoo.

After the farming work was finished,

steps two and three—”Praise good teamwork” and “Give everyone snacks to share”—were carried out together.

As the sun dipped below the horizon,

Jiwoo and the house residents headed to the edge of the safe zone, where the endless sea stretched before them.

It was time for the “Big Family Unity Party.”

─ Everybody, party, ant!

─ Dance! Dance! Ant-ant-ant!

A grand bonfire was lit on the sandy beach.

The Antmen and White Birds munched on the seeds they’d gathered that day while chatting together.

─ Be careful over there, ant.

─ Careful of what, chirp?

─ Your tail feathers are on fire, ant.

─ AAAAAAH, CHIRP! HELP ME, CHIRP!

After surviving that unexpected disaster together, the Antmen and White Birds made a dramatic reconciliation.

Watching from the nearby shoreline, the Black Dolphins booed.

─ Guess watching fights is over now, dol.

─ It’s okay, dol! Now we get to watch the fire instead, dol!

There was also a very special guest at tonight’s party.

The unofficial resident of 〈Our Home〉—and its very first resident—

Seo Kangwoo!

“Jiwoo.”

“Oh! You’re already here? I thought you’d be late because of the dungeon raid today!”

“You called for me. So I wiped everything out quickly and came—”

Kangwoo suddenly stopped speaking.

After a brief silence, he spoke again.

“Jiwoo… I’m exhausted.”

“Huh?”

“I rushed over, so I must’ve used too much power. My head hurts, my shoulders hurt…”

Rolling up his sleeve, Kangwoo held out his arm.

“What happened?”

“Look, Jiwoo. I even got hurt during the fight.”

“Oh no! Let me see!”

Jiwoo hurriedly examined Kangwoo’s arm.

Then—

Where’s the injury?

His skin was perfectly smooth.

Firm, lean muscles.

There wasn’t a single scratch anywhere.

Still… just in case. Last time those black veins suddenly appeared.

Jiwoo decided to use his secret skill.

“[Jiwoo’s hands are healing hands! Filled with love~ Blow~♥].”

“[Jiwoo’s hands are healing hands! Filled with love~ Blow~♥].”

“[Jiwoo’s hands are healing hands! Filled with love~ Blow~♥].”

After casting the skill three times, Jiwoo looked at Kangwoo expectantly.

“How is it? Do you feel better?”

“I’m not sure yet, Jiwoo. I think I need more healing. I’m in so much pain.”

“W-What should I do…?”

Jiwoo nervously bit his lip.

His injuries must be worse than I realized.

If even his trump card, “Blow the Pain Away~”, wasn’t enough, then there was only one option left.

The system message that had been blinking at the edge of his vision all this time.
