“A Calamity is preying upon a Calamity.”

One of the squad members grimaced openly.

“That thing is a Calamity? Does that tiny little thing look like a Calamity to you, Company Commander?”

“Then what do you think it is?”

Gong Juwon asked back.

He intended to take this opportunity to use Jelly-nim to remind them once again that the contaminated zone was not a place to be taken lightly.

“I…”

He was at a loss for words.

The jelly was so small and cute that it seemed impossible to consider it a Calamity.

Yet what if that was all a disguise?

This was a contaminated zone. If something strong enough to obliterate a Calamity so effortlessly here was not a Calamity, what on earth could it be?

Thinking that, he felt an overwhelming sense of intimidation emanating from the small jelly’s body. So suddenly and intensely that he could not even understand it himself.

Firmly biting his lip, he adjusted his body cam. He was angling it so that the jelly could be clearly seen.

Just then, a rumbling sound echoed from the sky.

“…?!”

Gong Juwon commanded by instinct:

“Everyone, get down!”

Even before his words finished, the sky split open.

And light plunged down vertically.

“Crazy.”

The moment someone cursed under their breath.

Just as the silhouette of a carp with a silvery sheen seemed to reveal itself within the light, its body began to peel away. As if it were shedding its skin.

The eyes of everyone watching were transfixed on that breathtaking sight.

It was neither mutation nor a rampage. It was completely unlike any manifestation of a Calamity they knew of.

Above the pond, the massive figure twisted its body.

Its dorsal ridge surged and stretched out long, while the carp’s head opened wide as if splitting apart.

Could that truly be called a Calamity?

It was something far more sacred.

“A dragon?”

Someone murmured.

It was absurd.

A dragon was folklore, and a Calamity was a disaster.

Yet the being right before their eyes possessed the form of folklore and the scale of a disaster.

The fog around the pond was sucked entirely into the light. The pavilion creaked, but did not collapse.

Amidst the soldiers collapsing to their knees, the small figure perched at the edge of the pavilion entered their field of vision.

At the periphery of the light, the tiny jelly was watching everything without stepping back a single pace.

Just like a god.

“A god…?”

The jelly shrank the dragon to the size of a palm, then drew it into its embrace.

Then it looked around.

As if it knew they were around and was searching for them.

Gulp.

Dry swallows slipped down the soldiers’ throats.

At that moment, wooo—, the cry of a whale echoed out.

Feeling the blood drain from their faces, the soldiers looked up at the sky.

A new Calamity was approaching the spot where the light had struck.

Which happened to be the very place where they were standing.

As though someone were grasping their ankles, the squad members froze solid while staring at the sky.

Ppyok! Ppyok! Ppyok!

Meanwhile, upon seeing the newly appeared Calamity, the jelly was bouncing up and down as if welcoming it.

The sight of the jelly, which had just devoured a Calamity, rejoicing at the sight of another Calamity felt overwhelmingly bizarre.

Gong Juwon did not miss this chance and shouted:

“Evacuate the operational area immediately! Move!”

As he began to move while keeping low, the squad members slipped covertly and swiftly out of the operational area.

Seeing the light shot from the sky, the party came to pick me up.

Riding atop Bora Unnie, who had transformed into a whale, I looked down below.

Then, an axolotl poked its head out from my embrace.

Because it became my Planetmon, it turned from a dragon into an axolotl.

Either way, you evolved, didn’t you? Satisfied, right?

Asking that with my eyes, I stroked Yeonjam’s head.

Feeling good, both of Yeonjam’s gills fluttered.

‘By the way….’

I don’t know why a new title is blinking.

[Acquired the title ‘A Tiny God?’.]

– Looks smoother and more mystical when bathed in light.

– When instilling a sense of mystery in a target, the target perceives the subject as a higher species.

According to Cha Haeeon’s explanation, titles were formed based on the perceptions spread among people.

Then that meant someone was perceiving me like this (a tiny god?)….

Was someone watching me?

In secret? For some reason, it gave me goosebumps, making my shoulders shiver.

Just then, Jaehee Oppa asked back in disbelief:

“Dam-ah, what did you say that was?”

“The Ten-Thousand-Year Carp!”

At my words, the axolotl, only the size of a baby’s fist, blinked cutely.

“That axolotl?”

Jaehee Oppa’s expression didn’t look surprised at all, but this was a top-tier, extremely surprised expression.

I snickered.

Since it was a creature that was rare even in the game, it was only natural for Jaehee Oppa to be shocked.

“Then did you get that too?”

Jaehee Oppa asked with expectant eyes.

“You mean this?”

I brought out the glowing bead that I had treasured and tucked away.

The very item that made missing out on a few Golden Carps nothing to regret!

“Such a thing really existed?”

When Jaehee Oppa’s eyes widened in surprise, Cha Haeeon, who had been quietly watching from the side, asked:

“What is that?”

I giggled and said:

“A money windfall.”

I held the yeouiju up toward the sky for all to see.

At that, the sky began to rumble once more.

[Yeouiju energy discharge detected]

[Initiating conversion to Cosmic Coins.]

Flash!

A lightning-like bolt of light drove down atop my head as coins poured down.

It was quite literally a bolt of money.

Jingle, jingle, jingle.

The coins seeped into my body.

Cha Haeeon shouted with his mouth hanging open in utter disbelief:

“It was an actual bolt of money?!”

Jaehee Oppa stroked my head with his hand calmly, as if he had expected it all along.

“Our youngest’s head is going to split open.”

“It’s okay. It didn’t hurt a bit.”

You could say I didn’t feel much of anything.

More important than that was the money!

+100,000 cc

Mmh, 100,000 isn’t bad.

Just as I was thinking that.

As if to declare that wasn’t the end of it, beam after beam of light struck down atop my head in succession.

Flash!

+100,000 cc

Flash! Flash!

+200,000 cc

Flash!

+100,000 cc

Flash!

+100,000 cc

Under the relentless barrage of money bolts, I was practically on the verge of fainting.

Before passing out from being struck by the money bolts, I checked my coin balance.

[Cosmic Coin Balance: 780,000 cc]

After that, everything went black.
