Flower Fiancé Chapter 27

Author: nicotine

Choi Moohyuk put strength into the forearm he had been using as a pillow and half raised his body. In an instant, he was in a posture half-embracing Ji Yeonwoo, looking down at him diagonally from above.

“Uh-uh, I’m not allowed to go out either?”

Ji Yeonwoo’s pupils shook as if an earthquake had struck.

“I can’t even go to the shop? Really?”

Hearing the question, meek beyond compare, Choi Moohyuk pressed Ji Yeonwoo’s white, soft cheek with his hand. His lips poked out like a bird’s beak.

“You heard the whole call.”

“…Eung.”

Ji Yeonwoo made a small groaning sound as if in pain.

“We’re supposed to be together, where are you going?”

“Uh-uh….”

“From now on, think about what you want to do.”

“If I tell you what I want to do, will you do everything?”

“As long as time permits.”

“How much is the permitted time?”

Ji Yeonwoo took a small breath, seeing Choi Moohyuk’s face suddenly close up before his eyes.

“Probably until Monday morning?”

Seeing the twitching lips poking out, Choi Moohyuk continued speaking and then kissed the beak-like lips just like that. He kissed them in short, repeated kisses with smacking sounds, then loosened the strength in his hand.

Choi Moohyuk, who had briefly pulled away, moved his pupils and scanned Ji Yeonwoo. The drowsily half-closed eyes opened, and their gazes met.

As if that were a signal, Choi Moohyuk lowered his head again and held Ji Yeonwoo’s full-blooded, plump lips in his mouth. He lightly sucked on the lower lip, then held the upper lip as well. As if to make up for the lack of breath, Ji Yeonwoo’s lips parted. As if he had been waiting, Choi Moohyuk sucked more deeply and entangled their tongues.

He felt a unique body scent from Ji Yeonwoo. It was now a body scent quite familiar to Choi Moohyuk as well. A sudden curiosity washed over him—what had Ji Yeonwoo’s pheromones been like before he lost them?

Would it have been a common, sweet scent?

Or would it have been a somewhat special scent?

So far, while seeing Ji Yeonwoo, he had never thought of the absence of pheromones as regrettable, but as the intensity of physical contact grew, a deeper thirst surged in.

It was the unavoidable instinct of a dominant alpha.

The weather was so clear that there wasn’t a single cloud in the blue sky, but inside Ji Yeonwoo’s officetel, a serious atmosphere was flowing for some reason.

Ji Yeonwoo paced around the living room. The way he bit his nails with clicking sounds even seemed unusually agitated, unlike his usual self.

“Haa, I’m going crazy. How am I supposed to face Managing Director over the weekend?”

Stopping his steps, Ji Yeonwoo let out a deep sigh and swept his face with his palm. Since waking up, he had pretended nothing was wrong, but in fact, he remembered everything. Himself, who had acted like someone whose fuse had blown under Choi Moohyuk’s increasingly intense touch last night.

It was words and actions he would never have done under normal circumstances. Knowing that well, Choi Moohyuk must have worn an expression of great surprise and bewilderment. But Ji Yeonwoo was bewildered as well.

He had thought he had forgotten everything. Two years had passed since the divorce, and even the person’s face had become blurry, so he thought all the memories had faded along with it, but they hadn’t. His body remembered. Even if it had been his coercion, the ingrained habits had flowed out regardless of Ji Yeonwoo’s will.

If only I had held onto my senses a little more.

Ji Yeonwoo crouched down on the spot and clutched his head. He himself couldn’t understand why he had done it. He knew it was Choi Moohyuk touching him, but he could only watch the uncontrollable surging anxiety. Words came out of his mouth on their own, and his hands moved on their own. It was a habit from a hellish daily life repeated for as long as four years.

Ji Yeonwoo clenched his trembling hands tightly and struggled to pull himself together. Now that things had come to this, it couldn’t be helped. If Choi Moohyuk said they should talk seriously, he would have no choice but to confess honestly. When he had already revealed the loss of his pheromones with his own mouth, how hard could it be to disclose his divorce history?

If he told him and Choi Moohyuk left, then it just couldn’t be helped at that point.

He had expected that his failed past would trip him up someday. So accepting reality was rather an easy thing.

But contrary to his reason, a sense of gloom instantly spread across Ji Yeonwoo’s face. Ji Yeonwoo, whose many thoughts had overlapped and become complicated, ultimately shook them off with effort along with a small sigh.

The sound of water that had been filling the living room suddenly cut off. Ji Yeonwoo, his eyes swelling wide, slowly rose from his spot. A short-sleeved t-shirt was draped over Ji Yeonwoo’s arm. It was the biggest size among the t-shirts at home, but whether it would fit Choi Moohyuk was an unknown.

The bathroom door opened. Having just finished showering, Choi Moohyuk, damp with moisture, came out into the living room, shaking his wet hair.

“Uh….”

He was dressed only in slacks, bare-chested. Over the slightly drooping slacks, the band engraved with the brand logo of the drawers he was wearing was visible. The moment he saw that figure, all the resolutions and thoughts he’d had just moments ago scattered like smoke.

Ji Yeonwoo couldn’t tear his gaze away from Choi Moohyuk, who was walking toward him. Suddenly, the image of Choi Moohyuk taking off his suit jacket, saying he would make pasta, came to mind. Due to the superior traits of a dominant alpha, Choi Moohyuk was a head taller than Ji Yeonwoo, and his physique was nearly twice as large. So even in the same suit attire, the overall look of the clothes was different from Ji Yeonwoo.

The back view of Choi Moohyuk, turning toward the kitchen in his white dress shirt, had also been striking. Every time he moved his arms, his upper body muscles stood out from the flatly stretched back and waist area. Compared to his broad, solidly built shoulders, his waist and pelvis were moderately narrow, and his lower body, glimpsed beyond the not-too-wide slacks, straight and long without an ounce of excess flesh, was also impressive. He had imagined while looking at that back view, but he hadn’t expected him to have such a firm upper body.

“Isn’t that for me?”

“…Pardon?”

Lost in thought, Ji Yeonwoo snapped out of his reverie and lifted his head with a start. Before he knew it, Choi Moohyuk was standing right in front of him, looking down at Ji Yeonwoo. Because he had just washed up, his wet hair moderately covered his forehead.

“Ah, yes. Here.”

Ji Yeonwoo, stuttering like a broken robot, handed the t-shirt to Choi Moohyuk. Taking it, Choi Moohyuk looked at him as if he were strange, then put his arms through one by one and put on the shirt.

The shirt was not so small as to be unsightly, more than expected. The length was just right, and while the sleeves seemed a bit tight around the forearms due to his muscles, it didn’t look very uncomfortable. Wow, I bought that by mistake, three sizes too big for me, but it fits him.

“Is this something you usually wear?”

Choi Moohyuk pulled at the shirt that fit his body quite well and asked.

“There’s no way. It’s something I ordered by mistake when buying clothes, but I couldn’t return it because I accidentally removed the tag first.”

Slowly stopping his words, Ji Yeonwoo suddenly recalled how, when he first received those clothes, he had looked like a child who had taken out his father’s clothes to wear.

“Would you like to take it, Managing Director?”

Choi Moohyuk frowned, horrified.

“I’ll pass. It’s not my style.”

Seeing Choi Moohyuk like that, Ji Yeonwoo laughed without realizing it. First, let’s not think about anything for now. Just think about what to do with Managing Director over the weekend. The happy, ordinary romance I saw in dramas, let me try it too. Ji Yeonwoo pressed his lips firmly together and exhaled.

“Come this way. It’s already past breakfast.”

“Is it doenjang-jjigae?”

Nodding his head, Ji Yeonwoo pulled Choi Moohyuk by the arm.

“Yes. I made doenjang-jjigae with tofu. Do you like Korean food?”

“I generally eat it well.”

“That’s good. Let’s eat quickly before it gets cold.”

Chuckling, Choi Moohyuk pretended to be dragged along helplessly, following Ji Yeonwoo, who was pulling his arm.

The two, having eaten a late breakfast that doubled as lunch, came out to the living room. Wondering what to do, they decided to watch a movie they had been putting off. They connected to an OTT platform and searched the movie list. Ji Yeonwoo, who had been operating the remote, paused and lowered his gaze. Choi Moohyuk, who had been sitting next to him, suddenly changed position and lay down using Ji Yeonwoo’s thigh as a pillow.

“Is it uncomfortable?”
