Flower Fiancé Chapter 99
Ji Yeonwoo, who had been holding his waist, rubbed his face against his firm chest and burrowed into his embrace. Along with the touch stroking deeply down his spine, he could feel his heart beating a little louder as well.
Slowly letting go, Ji Yeonwoo pulled back and looked up. Choi Moohyuk silently wiped the tears clinging to his eyes and cupped his face with both hands.
“Huuuh, thank you so much for staying by my side. I’m sorry, and… I love you.”
“…!”
“I love you, so much.”
With a trembling voice, barely managing to confess, Ji Yeonwoo slowly leaned in and pressed his lips to Choi Moohyuk’s first. Sniffling and sobbing softly, Ji Yeonwoo kissed him with both arms wrapped around his neck.
Now, Ji Yeonwoo could not imagine a life without Choi Moohyuk.

Two months had passed since then.
Following the doctor’s recommendation, Ji Yeonwoo underwent concurrent medication treatment and recovered faster than expected. Once he was able to control his pheromones freely as before, the hospital recommended that he stop the medication.
Upon hearing the news that Ji Yeonwoo had fully recovered as a superior omega, Chairman Choi was so shocked that he couldn’t speak for a while. His stepmother, similarly beyond surprise, couldn’t hide her bewilderment and asked how such a thing could happen.
When they had met privately, Choi Moohyuk had been so confident that she had doubted it, but she never expected him to actually recover his pheromones.
Everything went smoothly after that. Even at the gathering where Ji Yeonwoo was first introduced to Chairman Choi and his stepmother, there were no particular disturbances. They didn’t fully approve, but they didn’t openly cross the line with their words or actions either.
At that gathering, Choi Moohyuk dropped a bombshell announcement that he would marry Ji Yeonwoo. The family present showed no agitation, as if they had expected it. The one who drew the most attention was undoubtedly Chairman Choi. Even if he opposed, they would still marry, but still, it was a moment where Chairman Choi’s opinion mattered most.
Chairman Choi shot him a disapproving look, but did not oppose further. He must have weighed the pros and cons thoroughly.
He knew that the union of a top 1% superior alpha and superior omega would stimulate people’s fantasies much more than marrying an omega from some middling political or financial family. Moreover, he judged that if it became known that he had embraced a superior omega suffering from pheromone deficiency and naturally cured him, it could dispel the rough and unfavorable image of a “gangster conglomerate.”
Ji Yeonwoo, looking out the window with a cheerful expression, gazed at Choi Moohyuk driving with a bright smile. Choi Moohyuk, dressed in a neat suit, holding the steering wheel and driving, sensed his gaze and glanced sideways.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
He reached out his right hand and took hold of Ji Yeonwoo’s hand resting on his thigh.
“Just because. I’m feeling giddy for no reason. Maybe because it’s our first date in a while.”
Ji Yeonwoo adjusted his grip on Choi Moohyuk’s outstretched hand. A lot had happened in four months. After their relationship was more or less acknowledged, they each focused on their own responsibilities. Ji Yeonwoo spent busy days going to the hospital and physical therapy, wanting to recover as quickly as possible, while Choi Moohyuk, promoted to CEO of Sunwoo Industries, took full management responsibility and focused on stabilization.
Of course, they saw each other every day living in the same house, but it had been a long time since they’d taken time out to go on a date outside.
“Now that things are mostly settled, there won’t be as much busy work as before. We’ll eat out often and go on trips.”
“Really?”
“I’ve even decided on a destination.”
“For real?”
“There’s a high chance it’ll be our honeymoon destination.”
“Where is it?”
“Have you heard of Bacalar in Mexico?”
“Bacalar?”
“Look it up online. It’ll come up right away.”
Ji Yeonwoo took out his phone and searched. As the image of an emerald-green beautiful lake appeared, his eyes filled with anticipation.
“Wow, what is this place? It’s so beautiful.”
“The place you’re looking at is supposedly a lake, not the sea. I thought it would be a perfect match for what you said before.”
Ji Yeonwoo, peering at the phone screen, paused and looked at Choi Moohyuk. Surprise was in his eyes.
“You said you like going into the water but don’t like seawater, didn’t you?”
Choi Moohyuk glanced sideways at Ji Yeonwoo and smiled handsomely. Only then did he recall his words about keeping that in mind. Ah, so that’s what he meant. Choi Moohyuk’s thoughtfulness in remembering a casually uttered remark made Ji Yeonwoo smile again today.
“…Huh? Mr. Moohyuk. Over there.”
Ji Yeonwoo, turning his head toward the window with a happy face, spotted a place and reacted. Choi Moohyuk slowed down and parked the car in front of the shop Ji Yeonwoo was pointing at.
“Wow, this place changed so much?”
That was the spot where Flower Fiancé used to be. In the place where the flower shop had been completely cleared out, a baby goods store had opened.
“Want to go in?”
“Yes.”
Choi Moohyuk, who had stretched his body long toward the passenger window while resting his hand on Ji Yeonwoo’s thigh, turned to look at him. Ji Yeonwoo smiled with his eyes crinkling and nodded. Choi Moohyuk briefly touched Ji Yeonwoo’s lips before pulling back.
The two held hands and entered the store. As they looked around the interior, filled with white and pink tones, Ji Yeonwoo’s eyes sparkled.
It felt like being in a miniature world. Everything was beyond small—adorable and cute.
“Oh my, it’s so tiny.”
Ji Yeonwoo said, looking at hand protectors and shoes smaller than half the size of his palm. Choi Moohyuk, standing beside him, couldn’t even bring himself to touch them and looked at Ji Yeonwoo with an endearing gaze as he admired everything.
“Welcome. Are you looking for baby supplies?”
As they were browsing, the owner approached. Looking at Choi Moohyuk and Ji Yeonwoo, who were clearly a couple, the owner spoke in a friendly tone.
“B-baby supplies? No, that’s not it.”
Startled, Ji Yeonwoo waved both hands in denial.
“Actually, I used to be the owner of the flower shop that was here. I saw it had changed as I passed by, so I came in.”
“Oh! If it’s a flower shop, are you talking about Flower Fiancé?”
Hearing the shop name flow naturally from the owner’s lips, Ji Yeonwoo was surprised and asked back.
“Huh? Yes. How do you know?”
“I’m not sure if you remember, but I used to buy flowers here many times. This was the only place that sold pale pink ranunculus, so whenever I needed flowers for the store, I’d stop by.”
“Oh, I see.”
“I heard you were ill—are you feeling better now?”
“Yes. I’m all better now.”
“That’s a relief. Please stop by anytime you need baby supplies in the future.”
“I will.”
After exchanging a few more words with the owner, Ji Yeonwoo returned to the car. It was an unplanned visit to a baby goods store, but it was enjoyable in its own way. Perhaps that’s why, as they drove off again, Ji Yeonwoo was lost in thought, but his expression was not somber.
“It’s really amazing.”
Choi Moohyuk, focusing on driving while looking ahead, glanced over.
“Actually, I always hoped that someone would remember Flower Fiancé. And knowing that there really is someone besides me who has fond memories of it—it’s just so amazing and makes me happy.”
“It’s the reward for living so diligently. From what I’ve seen up close, Ji Yeonwoo has lived doing his best.”
“Does it really look that way to you?”
Stopped at a red light, Choi Moohyuk slowly slowed down and turned to Ji Yeonwoo.
“Does it sound like empty words?”
“Can I be honest?”
“Yes.”
“Hmm, actually, since Mr. Moohyuk says everything is good and only praises me, honestly, it’s a little… not very credible.”
When Ji Yeonwoo said with a wink, Choi Moohyuk let out a low, hollow laugh. Seeing that, Ji Yeonwoo watched his reaction and grabbed Choi Moohyuk’s arm.
“Are you mad?”
“I’m not mad. No, wait—since when did my credibility drop this much?”
Half-turning toward the passenger seat, Choi Moohyuk raised one eyebrow. With a half-joking, half-serious expression as if to say “Go ahead, say whatever you want,” he stared intently at Ji Yeonwoo.
Ji Yeonwoo, hesitating and moving his eyes, suddenly looked behind Choi Moohyuk and widened his eyes.
