Deflower Me If You Can Chapter 4
“Alright, go on ahead to the car. Papa and Daddy will come with Bliss.”
“Okaaay.”
As Grayson answered almost in a singsong and walked away with light steps, Ashley quietly watched his retreating figure and muttered.
“He didn’t spout any strange nonsense to Bliss, did he?”
“Don’t only see Grayson in such a bad light, Ash.”
Koi didn’t miss the low voice that was practically a murmur and scolded him.
“That child just has a bit of a lack of empathy and a lot of curiosity. He hasn’t caused any major incidents since then, has he?”
At Koi’s point, Ashley, his face still expressionless, spoke while gazing in the direction his son had disappeared.
“He hasn’t. Because I’ve managed him thoroughly.”
Koi could say nothing more and simply shut his mouth. The biggest characteristic that sets Extreme Alphas apart from other traits is their pheromones. The pheromones of an Extreme Alpha grant them superior immunity and regenerative abilities, making them resistant to common illnesses and immune to intoxication from alcohol or drugs. Moreover, they age slowly and have long lifespans, making Extreme Alphas an object of both admiration and awe for the majority of other traits.
Those pheromones that make them so ‘special’ can also become poison to them. If they do not regularly expel their pheromones, the buildup in their bodies attacks the brain and causes impairment. If this persists for a long time, the pheromones turn toxic and drive them mad or kill them.
To prevent such worst-case scenarios, Extreme Alphas had to regularly expel their pheromones, and the most effective and easiest method was sex. Thus, needing to expel pheromones ‘so as not to go mad and die’ was sufficient to rationalize the debauched lives of Extreme Alphas.
And it was no different for Ashley’s children. Unfortunately, all the children except Bliss were Extreme Alphas, and Grayson, Stacey, and Larien had possessed purple eyes from birth. Because of this, their pheromone management had to be all the more rigorous, and he had constantly strived to ensure that the children, who could not feel emotions due to the influence of their pheromones, would not harm others.
Nevertheless, it seemed there were things that sheer human will alone could not accomplish. Ashley, having recalled the accident from long ago when the children were young and had nearly killed Koi, let out a deep sigh. Closing his eyes and pressing a hand to his forehead, he muttered in a low voice to Koi, who was watching him with worry.
“I’ll go get Bliss, so wait here.”
“Okay.”
Leaving Koi, who nodded, behind him, he began to stride away. The time was nearing midnight, and the hall where the party was being held was still filled with a noisy mix of loud music and voices. And soon, having retrieved Bliss, Ashley boarded the car with the rest of the family and headed home.
It wasn’t until the next morning that Bliss, who had eaten his fill of his favorite ice cream and fallen fast asleep, burst into tears.

“Waaaaah, I can’t open my eye!”
At the sight of Bliss shouting and crying loudly, Koi was flustered and at a loss, while the other siblings examined his face from every angle with fascination. The eye Bliss had fiercely punched the day before was bruised black and blue and swollen up this much.
“Uhhh, uhhhng.”
“Don’t cry, Bliss. Crying makes your eye swell more, you know.”
“Waaaaaaaaah.”
Koi tried somehow to soothe him, but Bliss only cried even louder. After explaining the situation to Ashley, Koi calmed Bliss down, changed his clothes, and even had breakfast with him, but the child continued to cry the entire time.
“Sniff, hick, hick.”
In the end, even after returning to his room, the sight of the youngest son still sniffling and rubbing his swollen eyelid with his fist made Koi let out a frustrated sigh.
“It’s okay, Bliss. I’m telling you, it’ll get better if you stop crying.”
“Snf, hic. Hic.”
At Koi’s words, the child stopped breathing as if trying to hold back his sobs, but nothing particularly changed. Well aware that Bliss had been struggling to stop crying for a while now, Koi simply watched the child with a pitying heart.
“Here, Bliss. It’s caramel.”
When he deliberately held out a treat to draw the child’s attention, Bliss glanced at it and then immediately turned his eyes away again.
“Bliss, don’t be like that and try some. Hm?”
At the gently coaxing voice, Bliss didn’t budge, but Koi saw it. Unlike his stubbornly turned head, his eyes were sneaking a sideways glance.
Barely holding back a laugh, Koi instead asked again, as if sweetly soothing him.
“It’s the sweet caramel you love. Don’t you want some?”
Gulp.
Saliva slid down Bliss’s throat. Pain, fear, and sadness vanished in an instant, and his mind filled entirely with caramel. Bliss subtly rolled his eyes and stole another glance at the caramel. When Koi unwrapped it and held the caramel out on his palm, Bliss was silent for a moment as if contemplating.
Of course, the hesitation was only for a moment. As Bliss stealthily reached out his hand, his body naturally turned toward Koi. Heh, drool leaked from the corner of his mouth that had unconsciously spread into a grin. Bliss hastily wiped his mouth with his arm, then grabbed the caramel sitting on Koi’s palm and popped it into his mouth.
“It’s yummy.”
As the sweet taste spread throughout his mouth, Bliss’s mood immediately became very bright. Seeing the child with both hands on his cheeks looking blissfully happy, Koi’s heart was put at ease and he smiled as well.
“Aren’t you glad you ate it?”
At Koi’s question, Bliss nodded and said “yeah,” then immediately asked again.
“Daddy, can I have one more?”
Gazing down at the expectant eyes, Koi smiled.
“No, you can’t.”
Bliss promptly dropped his head with a disappointed face. Just as he’d thought, it was a no.
Since Koi normally worried about his teeth and didn’t give him snacks often, today’s caramel was a special opportunity. Having already eaten a load of ice cream under similar circumstances the day before, the odds of not getting any snack today had actually been very high. Even though his eye had turned into a frog’s, it wasn’t without its benefits, Bliss thought as he savored the caramel in his mouth little by little, sucking on it.
“Haa.”
Though he thought he had eaten it very slowly, the caramel soon melted away and vanished from his mouth. Bliss’s shoulders immediately drooped again.
“My life is so depressing.”
“What?”
A flustered Koi was about to say something, when suddenly a knock was heard. When Koi turned around, the door soon opened and Ashley could be seen standing there.
“Time’s up, Koi.”
“Ah, okay.”
Koi awkwardly rose from his seat. There was only one reason Ashley, who should have already left for work by this hour, was here now. It was because a visitor was scheduled. Thinking he had to hurry and get changed and ready, Koi had no choice but to shift the topic.
“Bliss, an important guest is coming to the house today. Can you stay quietly in your room?”
“A guest?”
When Bliss asked curiously at the unexpected words, Koi nodded and said yes.
“Since Bliss isn’t feeling well today, let’s rest in your room. If you need anything, tell April and…”
After adding a few more words of instruction, he stroked the child’s head and left the room.
“Haah.”
When Koi, having closed the door behind him, inadvertently let out a sigh, a question immediately flew at him.
“How is he? Bliss.”
“Ah, yeah. He’s calmed down a bit. I think he’ll be fine.”
Then he furrowed his brow and said.
“Bliss says his life is too depressing.”
“What?”
At the unexpected words, Ashley asked with a furrowed brow.
“I don’t know either. Where could he have learned such a thing?”
To Koi, who shook his head and sighed, Ashley seemed to think for a moment, then soon changed the subject.
“Let’s go for now. We’re late.”
“Ah, okay.”
Taking the hand Ashley extended, Koi hurriedly followed his stride, practically jogging, and belatedly asked a question.
“The guest who’s coming today—are they very important?”
Ashley answered simply.
“Yes, very much so.”
I see, Koi nodded, and then recalled in his mind the information he had heard from Ashley the day before. The person scheduled to visit today was an aristocrat from England—three people in total, he had heard: the current duke and duchess, and the eldest son who would inherit the family title. Since that was all Ashley had told Koi, he was considerably nervous.
