BJ Villainess Chapter 295

Ozworld was, to put it mildly, broken and, to put it bluntly, out of his mind. The cause was love.

“Should I transfer now?”

One of the most notable symptoms was that he began to talk nonsense, and he just did it again. A guy who had graduated early from a prestigious foreign campus was now talking about transferring just to stay with me.

“Say something that makes sense.”

I was a senior with hardly any classes left to attend, so we were already spending most of our time together, yet this was how he acted. And now that it was summer vacation, we were together 24/7, but he still seemed unsatisfied.

Ozworld was hugging me from behind while watching me work, rubbing his forehead against my shoulder in a sulking manner. “If I had known, I would have transferred to your campus from the start.”

I shook my head and stood up to get a glass of water. As I walked to the kitchen with Ozworld clinging to my waist, I fumbled with my phone and noticed a 999+ notification in the group chat that included Senior Seonga. Already feeling overwhelmed, I didn’t even want to check it. Instead, I opened my message to see what the group had been chatting about.

[Sender: Ozworld is Real World]

[I thought Ozworld would be the type to keep boundaries even if he fell in love, but unexpectedly, he’s so head over heels for Jiwoo that he can’t think straight ㅋㅋ.]

[Sender: Romance Pass]

[I love seeing love like there’s no one else in the world except them…]

Suddenly curious about Ozworld’s likeability, I checked it.

[Ozworld Holton]

[Likeability: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️]

The last time I checked, there were only four red hearts, but now they were all filled.

I turned my head and kissed Ozworld on the lips with a smacking sound. Surprised by the sudden action, Ozworld’s eyes widened as he smiled a smile he couldn’t hide, and he asked, “What’s with that all of a sudden?”

“Just because you’re adorable.”

Even without checking his likeability, I could tell Ozworld loved me. But seeing it quantified made me so happy that I couldn’t help but express it.

“What was so adorable?”

“I just said you were adorable. Stop asking.”

“If I do something adorable again, will you kiss me? So what did I do well?”

“I’m not telling you.”

Ozworld kept kissing me, not letting me drink water, saying he’d keep bothering me until I told him.

“Okay, I’ll tell you! Stop, it tickles!” I burst out laughing and quickly surrendered.

“What is it?”

“You’re just so adorable because such a handsome guy is my boyfriend.”

“If that’s the reason, you should shower me with more affection.”

“You’re so shameless.”

“Hurry and give me more affection, Honey.”

“Move. I have work to do.”

Ozworld seemed to move out of the way but then suddenly lifted me and started walking toward the bedroom instead of the study.

“Wait! I’ll give you affection! Put me down. I’ll give you affection!”

I belatedly offered to shower him with affection, but Ozworld had already decided to reward himself.

It was in the late hours of the night. Ozworld woke up, slowly lifting his eyelids. He smiled unconsciously after confirming that Jiwoo was asleep in his arms and kissed her forehead.

Ozworld had never felt such satisfaction before. Just seeing her sleeping in his arms filled him with contentment so deep it made his heart ache. But soon, a thirst arose within him. Watching Jiwoo sleep so vulnerably was a joy and a pleasure but also painful. He wanted to bite her lips and share her breath, to feel her touch on his skin. Sometimes, he couldn’t resist waking her up to tease her, but mostly, he endured. His precious lover was a fragile mortal who needed to sleep.

To him, an immortal, sleep was more like a hobby. It had been so long since the boundary between day and night had blurred for him that recent life had become a strange, almost foreign experience.

As for love… Pretending to be a man in love was not particularly difficult as long as he could tolerate the disgust it brought. But fortunately, when it came to Jiwoo, that nauseating feeling didn’t arise, so he could enjoy playing the role of a lover.

At least, that’s what Ozworld thought his feelings were. But the moment Jiwoo said she loved him, it was like he’d been struck by lightning. He realized he wasn’t just playing a role.

Somewhere along the way, he had truly begun living as Ozworld Holton. And Jiwoo had become his lover. The one and only lover he could never lose and had no reason to lose.

“I love you.” He whispered softly into the ear of his sleeping lover.

Jiwoo stirred in her sleep. Even such a small gesture made him feel like he was about to burst out laughing. Unable to bear how adorable she was, he kissed her cheeks and lips several more times before finally feeling ready to work.

Ozworld opened his screen and began checking the messages that had piled up over the past few days.

[The media has discovered the existence of the Ozworld Company Victim Association.]

[The supervisory committee has requested your presence, Sir.]

[We are eliminating the members of the Victim Association as soon as they’re found. However, we haven’t yet located the leader. If given more time…]

Hmm…”

Ozworld read the messages with a cold expression, then looked at Jiwoo, who mumbled in her sleep. Her brow was furrowed as if she were having a bad dream. He chuckled and kissed the creased spot on her forehead.

Jiwoo slowly opened her heavy eyelids. The sight of her half-open gray eyes sent a shiver through Ozworld, just like when he had first realized he was in love.

“What are you doing up…?” She asked in a drowsy voice, concerned that he wasn’t asleep.

“I just woke up for a moment.”

Ozworld closed the screen and snuggled into her embrace like a child seeking comfort as she patted his back to help him sleep.

Haa…”

He felt like he was going crazy. When he first realized he was in love, he thought he had reached the peak of his emotions, but he was wrong. That was just the beginning.

“I’m sorry, Honey.”

Ozworld decided to briefly disturb his fragile mortal lover’s sleep, just for a little while.

I adjusted my graduation cap and blankly stared at my reflection in the mirror. Time had flown by, and it was already February. And today was graduation day.

“I can’t believe I’m already 24.”

Though I often felt time flowed like a river, I had never felt it as intensely as I did today.

“Jiwoo! Come out so we can take pictures!”

I was feeling unnecessarily sentimental when Senior Seonga called me out of the restroom. She grinned when she saw me.

“You really put in some effort today for graduation, huh?”

I laughed, telling her not to tease me.

Just a moment ago, I had been awkwardly looking at my made-up face in the mirror.

“We’re all going out for a drink after the ceremony. Are you coming?”

I wasn’t really interested in attending, especially since I had already experienced one graduation ceremony before.

“I think I’ll just head home.”

“Everyone insisted you come. Bring your boyfriend too.”

Senior Seonga looked over at Ozworld, who was shyly refusing people’s requests to take pictures with him.

“Your boyfriend is really something. He could be a celebrity.”

Ozworld had become quite a famous figure in my campus’s community, and he had appeared frequently since he started visiting me on campus. Thanks to him, I often found myself being summoned, mostly with posts asking, [Are they really dating?].

Senior Seonga asked once more if I was sure I wouldn’t come, but when I explained that I was moving, she finally gave up.

In reality, we were in the process of moving from our current home to a new one. Our current place was close to the campus, but it was too far from Senior Seonga’s gaming company, where I would start working full-time next week, so we decided to move.

“Fine, I’ll let it go since you’re moving closer to my company.”

Senior Seonga knew about this and lightly grumbled before returning to her usual smile and putting her arm around my shoulder.

“Jiwoo, you made a great decision to join our company. Just because it’s a big company doesn’t mean it’s safe, you know? Did you see GQsoft’s stock crash recently? The CEO is stepping down to take responsibility for the scandal.”

I hesitated for a moment at the mention of the Chae family, whom I had cut ties with at 18 after declaring I wanted nothing more to do with them, taking the last of the money they had forced on me. It was my first time hearing of GQsoft’s CEO being ousted. In my previous life, although I had caused a scandal for them, I never witnessed anything that led to the CEO’s removal, so it puzzled me a bit.

Senior Seonga continued to shake her head, telling me about all the recent scandals involving the Chae family. “Chae Bohyeon got caught in a competition bribery scandal and was recently indicted for smuggling illegal drugs. Chae Umi is also in the middle of a lawsuit. Both siblings are breaking every law they can.”

Chae Umi was currently being sued for selling illegal products through her social media accounts. Even her mother, who had been a skilled manipulator for so long that she managed to get rid of Ms. Jo, who had loyally served the Chae family for years, couldn’t escape the downfall. She was a popular shopping channel host but had been ousted from the industry after her abusive behavior was exposed.

Senior Seonga, knowing that I was once a daughter of that family, emphasized her words with extra vigor. “It’s karma. If you do something bad, you’re bound to get it all back.”

“Indeed.”

With that, our conversation ended, and Senior Seonga left to join her friends for the graduation party.

I slowly walked toward Ozworld, who was waiting for me at a distance after finishing all my business with my friends. Then I almost ran to him and hugged him tightly.

“Did something happen?”

“Did you get revenge for me?”

We spoke at the same time and then fell silent.

Ozworld didn’t answer my question. But I was certain that Ozworld was behind everything that had happened to GQsoft, the Chae siblings, and my mother.

We walked to the parking lot in silence after that. As usual, instead of opening the passenger door for me, Ozworld opened the trunk. Inside was a large bouquet and a ring case, things I had no idea when he had prepared.

“Congratulations on your graduation.”

I looked at him in a daze.

Ozworld slipped a uniquely designed ring onto the fourth finger of my left hand and asked, “Shall we get married?”
