BJ Villainess Chapter 326

Author: alyalia

It was before Libby punched Ozworld. A dimensional door opened in the middle of the most desolate desert on Planet Signio.

Creak. Accompanied by the characteristic creaking sound of an unlubricated door, the door opened, and Libby and three men stepped through. They frowned as they surveyed the barren, sand-filled surroundings. They had heard that this planet was mostly desert, but the reality was worse than expected.

“Something feels off.”

The massive sandstorm visible in the distance, the crumbling dunes, and the ground’s subtle vibrations all seemed strange. But what was truly odd was the magical plants growing just nearby, in the middle of the desert like an oasis.

“It’s a dimension with almost no magic, so how are there magical plants here?”

Euges examined the magical energy carefully and quickly realized who was responsible. “Theresa must have done this.”

Indeed, when you think about it, only Theresa could create such an extraordinary phenomenon in another dimension.

Ilya spoke to the group. “We should be able to track Theresa’s location based on this mana.”

“I’ll do it.”

It took Damian only a few seconds to track down Theresa’s location.

“Found her.”

With those words, their figures flashed and instantly teleported to where Theresa was. And then—

“What are you doing to my sister?!”

Although Libby’s attack was immediately blocked, it bought enough time for Theresa to escape. Additionally, when the men also attacked Ozworld simultaneously, the situation quickly reversed. Ozworld was being overwhelmed.

“Sister, are you okay?”

Seeing the difference in power, Theresa urgently spoke to Libby, who had come to protect her. “Clyde is here. The Clyde from the original timeline, wearing a black butterfly mask.”

“What? He said he wouldn’t come with us to protect the empire, so how is he suddenly here?”

“He brought Ozworld. He intends to kill him with a time paradox.”

Libby finally understood Theresa’s words and grew serious.

Theresa looked at the white butterfly fluttering near Libby and said, “With the power of your butterfly, you can take Clyde back to the original dimension.”

“Then what about Sister? I came here to get you!”

“I’ll be fine.” Theresa pointed to the dimensional door she was creating. “I can return through that.”

Reluctantly, Libby agreed and set off to find Clyde. It was an easy task. The white butterfly read Libby’s will and transported her to where the black butterfly was.

“Senior!”

As soon as Libby saw Clyde, who was about to confront the past and present versions of himself across a wall, she knew she had to push him through the dimensional door.

Flash! The butterfly transported Clyde and herself to the front of the dimensional door that Libby had created.

You sent us here to do something so reckless? Libby wanted to question him, but before Clyde could move again to find Ozworld, she hurriedly spoke. “Butterfly, take this man away!”

“What are you doing—!”

Fortunately, the white butterfly, following her will, flashed and took Clyde into the dimensional door.

“…Huff!”

That was the problem. Libby had been able to breathe and move freely in this foreign dimension because of the butterfly’s protection. But now that the white butterfly had returned to the original dimension with Clyde, Libby collapsed where she stood. The feeling of hostility and aggression from the world, something she had never felt before in her life, was overwhelming.

Ugh…!”

She couldn’t endure much longer. She had to return through the dimensional door.

Libby crawled across the ground, enveloped by the terrible sensation of all the moisture in her body drying up. Would she make it to the door?

I don’t think I can. Still, having fulfilled her sister’s request, maybe this mission could be considered a success.

Just before her vision blurred—

-Libby.

“…?”

-Take a slower breath.

Libby obeyed the familiar voice and took a slow breath. The excruciating sensations piercing her body quickly faded, and her flickering vision returned. It was as if her body had magically adapted to the dimension.

Who helped me?

As Libby looked around in confusion, she noticed a black butterfly sitting quietly on the ground. It was Theresa’s black butterfly, a pair with her own white one.

“You’re sister’s butterfly, right? Was it you who spoke to me?” The only living thing in sight was the black butterfly. She was sure it was the one who had helped her and asked again. “Was it you who helped me? I didn’t know butterflies could talk… But why does your voice sound so much like my sister’s?”

The black butterfly remained silent.

“Thank you for helping me.”

-…

Libby was about to stand up when she heard a sound like something burning and looked up at the sky. Sizzle!

“Oh my god.”

The sky split open with a strange noise, revealing a pitch-black void. From that void, something ominous began to pour out. It was clear that Ozworld had summoned these creatures to kidnap Theresa and eliminate anyone who got in the way. Their prey was obvious.

Seeing a monster speeding toward her, Libby summoned her magic with determination. But her desperate attempt failed miserably.

-Stop messing around and go back too.

It really is sister’s voice!

Before Libby could even question the black butterfly’s identity, she was pulled beyond the dimensional door.

* * *

I had no doubt that Libby would succeed. So, I focused on the new problem at hand.

Ding!

[What are those things? Get the kid home already -_-^]

The sky opened, and monsters poured out through the dark portal, exuding an ominous aura. By then, three male protagonists had appeared around me, surrounding me.

“Are you okay, Theresa?”

I almost cried at Damian’s worried question. I had been so anxious that he might have died after disappearing, but seeing him alive and well, I felt relieved.

“Yes, I’m fine.”

Ilya, observing the approaching monsters, said, “If we go through the dimensional door we crossed, we can leave immediately. Though it looks like there might be enemies on the other side too.”

Euges clicked his tongue as he unleashed a chain of explosions, attacking the monsters in a wide area. “What choice do we have? We’ll have to go. After all, unless the people who created the dimensional door open it, there’s nothing they can do but camp around it.”

I glanced at the dimensional door, where the flower hadn’t fully bloomed yet, and estimated the time needed for completion. “I’ll just open this door.”

Five minutes were needed. Just five more minutes, and I could open this door.

Ilya nodded. “We’ll buy you some time.”

Immediately, I began injecting magic into the dimensional door. With four minutes remaining, more monsters appeared. However, for some reason, the world that seemed to be on the brink of destruction had suddenly become quiet.

Has Emperor Signio’s attitude changed? But where was Clyde? I trusted that he was safe with the black butterfly, but I was worried because Ozworld was so unpredictable.

There were three minutes left. Soldiers in combat uniforms appeared among the monsters. They were all rushing toward me. Were they kidnappers sent by Ozworld?

Two minutes left. I heard someone scream. Hopefully, it wasn’t one of the male protagonists.

And one minute left.

“That’s far enough.”

Ozworld grabbed my hand and gently turned me around. His usually immaculate red suit was in disarray, but his face was smooth, without a single scratch. Despite the fierce battle he had fought, his face remained flawlessly handsome.

“If you go back, you’ll have to move again.” He spouted nonsense with such a handsome face.

“Even if I have to move, it won’t be to your side.”

I glared at Ozworld with hatred, and he looked at me with a somber gaze.

“I want to kill you, Ozworld.”

“I’ll let you kill me someday. It just won’t be today.” A harsh laugh escaped at his arrogant words.

How could I possibly knock down this madman who believed he could have everything his way? No matter how strong I became, there was always an insurmountable gap between us.

As I ground my teeth in frustration, a man in a suit hurriedly approached and delivered unexpected news.

“Sir, Hardy has awakened as the adversary of the planet and attacked Emperor Signio!”

So that’s why the planet suddenly became quiet.

At the news that Hardy had awakened as the planet’s adversary, Ozworld frowned. It was the expression he made whenever something very annoying happened.

“I’ll take care of things here, so handle that side and have everyone withdraw.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Ozworld simply restrained my body and placed his hand on the dimensional door. As he did, the flower that had nearly fully bloomed began to wither.

At that moment, uncontrollable rage surged within me. I couldn’t forgive him for continuing to control me and act on his own whims.

Then, something strange stirred inside me. It wasn’t magic or holy power. The power that caused flowers to bloom when it rained coursed violently through my body, from my heart to my blood. I released that power in a fully elevated state.

“Get back!”

Golden rings formed around me and expanded rapidly. As the beautiful light illuminated everything, the monsters nearby melted away without a trace. The flower on the dimensional door had now fully bloomed.

Ozworld looked at me in disbelief. I stared at him coldly, then shifted my gaze to the rings that surrounded me.

I feel like I’ve become a planet with rings. Perhaps it wasn’t such a wrong feeling. After all, I had become a star in my own right.
