BJ Villainess Chapter 334

Author: alyalia

Is he only now feeling regret? When I saw his tears, I couldn’t hold back the overwhelming anger and broke down in tears. We silently stared at each other, each of us wearing different expressions.

Through my sobs, I spoke. “You’ve been the worst from start to finish.”

Ozworld listened to my reproach and moved closer. He wasn’t threatening at all, so I didn’t step back, but suddenly, he was holding a dagger in his hand.

“This is love.”

He placed the dagger in my hand and guided it to his heart.

“No matter how much you hate me and refuse to forgive me, I can never stop loving you. How is this not love?”

His voice carried the weight of too-late realizations and regret.

“I can’t be angry at you. You know that too, don’t you?”

The tears he shed fell onto the back of my hand as he mumbled.

“But I still can’t let you go to the one you love. So you must end this by killing me.”

How selfish, even to the very end.

Could he even fathom how much I had grown, how strong I had become after all the battles with monsters? I stabbed him willingly. The rings appeared, radiating bright light, ready to shatter Ozworld’s core into pieces.

It was only then that I fully understood what he meant when he said he had done everything he could. His core was already on the verge of collapse. In his efforts to roll back the data center, he had used up all of his own core. And yet, when he realized he could not turn me back, he gave up everything.

Rumble—! The dark blue energy flowing through the server pillars turned blood-red. The system appeared to be malfunctioning as the core, which had been absorbing energy steadily, was destabilized.

Ozworld began to fade, his body gradually breaking apart with interference, his image scattering like static. Even at that moment, he kept his eyes on me and mouthed something.

“…”

Though his voice was gone, I could read his lips.

I love you. Those were Ozworld’s final words before he disappeared completely.

* * *

Ozworld had been fused with the data center. Even though he had essentially consumed Pantheon and could manipulate the system at will, he was unable to roll back my time. It was because I had become a native god, moving beyond his control.

I don’t know if it’s appropriate to say this, but Ozworld was the most diligent and tenacious person I’d ever known. He was so arrogant that he never considered the possibility of failure. And why would he? He had never failed before.

So, Ozworld pushed everything to the limit, doing everything in his power. Only when he was left with nothing but death did he finally acknowledge his failure. And he crumbled.

I carried Hardy out of the data center.

“It’s over.”

Clyde didn’t ask for details. He simply took Hardy from me in silence and asked Jyang to heal him.

Just then, the committee members arrived, having noticed something wrong with the data center. “None of the systems except for the store are functioning. What happened? Didn’t you deal with Ozworld?”

“Ozworld left only the store operational and disappeared. There’s nothing more that can be done.”

At that moment, the committee members seemed to realize something and spoke urgently.

“The Wish Coupon. Theresa, you have enough coins to buy a wish coupon, don’t you?”

They knew it was shameless to ask, so they didn’t directly request that I use the wish coupon to restore Pantheon’s system. But their desperate hope was clear in their eyes.

Without answering, I looked out toward the balcony at the end of the hallway. It seemed like it led to a view of the square. “There’s a commotion outside.”

“Yes. The constellations have gathered in the square after hearing that you were settling things with Ozworld.”

“I see.”

I walked out onto the balcony, where I could see the square filled with constellations. As soon as I appeared, cameras turned toward me. It seemed that Pantheon’s internal broadcast was still working, as my image was displayed on the intact screens around the square.

“Theresa!”

The constellations chanted my name excitedly but slowly quieted as they sensed something was off.

“Store.”

[Store]

Wish coupon [1,000,000,000 coins]

: Any wish will be granted once.

“Purchase wish coupon.”

A congratulatory message appeared.

Ding!

[Congratulations, Miss Theresa.

We sincerely congratulate you on acquiring the Wish Coupon. Your journey, which has inspired and united so many, has brought you to the great achievement of 1 billion coins. Did you know that 1 billion coins contain enough energy to create an entire world? In a way, you have created a world within Pantheon called ‘Theresa.’ Thank you for sharing such a magnificent story.

You can use the Wish Token by saying, ‘My wish is…’]

As I read the message, it felt like an acknowledgment of all the suffering I’d endured, and the memories of everything that had happened flashed through my mind.

Yes. In the end, this experience had benefited me. But that was only the conclusion, and surviving long enough to reach 1 billion coins was a stroke of luck that only a rare few would enjoy.

This journey had been both special and terrifying. I never wanted to go through it again, and I hoped no one else would ever have to.

“The main quest for the <BJ Villainess> channel will surely be completed.”

The first quest I had received.

[Quest: < God’s Play> See the true ending in hard mode]

*Compensation: End of Broadcast

*Failure: Death

The true ending was all but certain now. But the constellations wouldn’t be able to see it. Because the broadcast would end today.

I opened my mouth and spoke. “My wish is…”

41. January 31st

The world was peaceful as if it had never been on the brink of destruction. Despite it being winter, the weather remained mild, almost as if it understood how fed up people were with snow.

Good news could be heard from all directions. The most surprising news was that the Squire family and the Willow family had finally resolved their 100-year-old grudge.

Among the people, Theresa and Clyde were such widely known figures that nearly everyone recognized their names. So when the news broke that the two had become lovers, overcoming the animosity between their families, the streets turned into a festive celebration.

There were several other astonishing pieces of news. In particular, among the nobility, rumors were spreading like urban legends that ‘The Emperor has recently become diligent.’ Because there were quite a few eyewitnesses, everyone soon realized it was true.

One unfortunate piece of news was the downfall of the Bernstein family. During the time when demons were rampant, all their direct blood relatives had perished. A collateral relative inherited the position, but it would take time and proof to restore the honor of the past.

“Wait a second. All direct Bernstein heirs died? Wasn’t there a second son who was a famous genius magician? I remember he was a professor at Valhalla?”

“Have you been drinking since noon? That second son died a long time ago. Unless a ghost has taken the position of Valhalla professor, you’ve got it wrong.”

“That’s strange. I clearly remember a very handsome second son. Dark red hair and deep green eyes.”

“I’m telling you, no such person exists!”

Eloise had bitten her tongue from surprise while shopping for syrup that exactly suited Theresa’s taste at a small grocery store after overhearing this conversation. So I wasn’t wrong after all!

A handsome man with dark red hair and dark green eyes! He had visited the Duchy Squire just yesterday. Other staff members were busy admiring his looks, seemingly forgetting that he was a professor at Valhalla. He was Professor Ilya Bernstein.

But this wasn’t the only instance of memories of each other not lining up.

“By the way, did Marquis Vallensia return to the south? I haven’t seen him lately.”

“Marquis Vallensia? Was there such a family?”

“Huh? He even stayed at our duchy. Blond, very handsome and gentleman.”

“…Sounds like a dream you had. There was no such a person.”

Eloise had previously discussed these recent strange occurrences with Theresa. However, Theresa simply nodded, murmuring to herself as if it were plausible.

“The flow of the time hasn’t fully aligned yet, so this is happening…”

“Pardon? But the clock works fine, Milady.”

“Hmm. Anyway, it’ll be resolved soon, so don’t worry.”

“She really says the strangest things sometimes.”

After buying the necessary groceries, Eloise stepped onto the street and looked toward the blue spire that shone brightly even from afar. That was the magic school, Valhalla.

“I wonder how the graduation ceremony is going.”

  1. Now I realtor want to see alternative endings with each ml, I miss Ilya 😭😭

  2. I can’t believe Ozvold died like that… I feel strangely empty… I even felt a little sorry for him. Death and the ending came out kind of crumpled…

  3. “This is love.”

Oh, perhaps in another world Oz, in another life. And if this were another bad ending novel it would have been you, instead of Clyde.

This little sht made me cry, I know it was meant to end badly for him the moment he fell in love, but his death strangely made me feel empty and at the same time emotional. Because I know, he was fighting a losing war the moment he loved her, it was just that, Theresa doesn’t deserve to suffer that kind of love.

Thank you so much for sharing this novel! It was quite a ride.

  4. I never thought oz will our villain but I don’t know I felt sorry for him too…. May be if you really accepted the truth you would have been with your jisoo…..

  5. I know what I’m writing now will feel absurd but honestly I think the author really wanted ozworld to play villain coz theresa who forgave everyone never even taught that as a option for ozworld and I know what he did wasnt a forgivable sin but still her hating this much till the end made me feel something… I don’t how I feel gosh… This is driving me crazy …. If only she left him go in peace at last I wouldn’t feel that way right

  6. Estou indignada com o fim do meu Oz e pior ainda ela terminou com o chato do Clyde aff 😤

  7. Ehh, Clyde and Theresa are a boring pair. Ozworld and Theresa had a more interesting dynamic, what with all that enemies-to-lovers tension. Theresa even had a better bond with the other mls, especially Ilya. I don’t understand the author’s sudden switch-up to Clyde and Theresa’s sudden limerence with a guy who was absent from a good portion of the story. Even Clyde’s only engaging aspect – his demon duality – was erased. What a character regression. It feels like the author’s trying to shove the pairing down our throats and accept it as some lovely, cutesty, fated ship.

  8. Oz’s death is so sad. I pity him. He doesn’t know love and he doesn’t know how to love. That’s why he became obsessed with Therry when he met her. I just that maybe in another universe when they meet they will be able to set their love right.
