My Tamed Beast Returned with a Dragon Chapter 24 - Breaking News… It's About That!
“Yes, I was just wondering about that myself. A magical beast egg, you say? What is it exactly?”
“It’s a byproduct we happened to acquire during our dungeon raid,” Yoo Gilseon replied.
“We tried to hatch it, but it seems certain conditions need to be met. It hasn’t shown any reaction at all.”
He stroked his chin, a glint of something unusual flickering in his eyes.
“That’s why we’d like Hunter Yoo Eunsae to take care of it.”
“Hunter Yoo Eunsae?”
“Yes. She’s the world’s only monster tamer… she might know a way, don’t you think?”
We couldn’t shake off a feeling of suspicion.
“If you’re planning to later claim ownership of the beast…”
“Oh! Of course not. The moment we handed it over, the egg became the property of the Dochun Guild.
It’s useless to us, so we’re simply passing it along.”
Yoo Gilseon gave a cheeky wink.
“Let’s hope for a good result.”
With those parting words, he ended the conversation. Jin Aso quietly followed him.
Later, when Yoo Gilseon excused himself from the banquet hall under the pretense of needing rest, Jin Aso spoke up with concern.
“Are you sure it’s okay to give that to them?”
Yoo Gilseon loosened his tie slightly.
“We don’t even know if Hunter Yoo Eunsae can hatch the egg or not. No point in worrying unnecessarily.”
“Why isn’t she active publicly these days? Could it be that she, too, received the dungeon boss’s curse three years ago…”
“Shh.”
Yoo Gilseon turned and shot her a sharp look.
“That is a secret that must never leak outside. Have you forgotten?”
“I’m sorry.”
Jin Ahso lowered her head. Yoo Gilseon began walking again.
“We’ll find out soon enough… whether Hunter Yoo Eunsae has already received her death sentence or not.”
Their footsteps echoed eerily down the corridor.

“Guys!”
Eunsae greeted her friends with a beaming smile.
We, Sol, and Yuha—who had just returned from the business trip to China—along with Mirinae and Inchan, who had stayed in Korea, rushed over and checked Eunsae from head to toe.
“Are you okay? You’re really all better?”
“Yup! Wanna see?”
Eunsae started to lift her shirt—only for her hand to freeze midair.
“Huh?”
“Trying to flash your skin just anywhere?”
Belquior clicked his tongue in disapproval as he released a concealment spell.
Eunsae just grinned sheepishly and led her friends to the living room.
“I’m really fine now. I actually feel way better than before.”
A faint white aura of ability swirled around her fingertips.
“They said I’ve developed resistance to curses.”
“Yo, that’s such a relief! If you make us go through all that again, I swear—you’re getting it. Got it?”
Sol raised her voice, sniffling.
The atmosphere was finally bright and cheerful again.
We bowed deeply toward Belquior.
“Thank you so much. For saving Eunsae.”
“Truly, thank you! We’re grateful!”
“How can we repay you? Please let us know.”
Belquior slowly looked around at the group, their eyes full of gratitude and admiration.
“Later. Right now, none of you have the means to repay me, so I’ll take what’s due another time.”
“Yes, anytime. Just say the word.”
Mirinae took Eunsae’s hand, her eyes overflowing with relief and joy.
Eunsae scratched her cheek shyly.
“Thanks, guys. I know it must’ve been tough.”
“Skip that—spill. What happened in the other world?”
“Yeah. What did you even do over there?”
“I saw the World Tree—Yggdrasil. And I met another dragon.”
“What?!”
“What kind of nonsense did you get into this time?!”
Her friends were shocked at the mention of another dragon. One was enough to deal with—now two?
Before they could let their imaginations run wild, Eunsae clarified.
“Her name was Lady Sanchez. She introduced herself as the Dragon of Secret Arts. Her lair was in a volcanic region, and she was seriously beautiful. Like a total eye-opener? Are all dragons just super pretty and handsome or something?
Anyway, she was really kind to me.”
“How exactly did she remove the curse?”
“I don’t really know. I drank some tea she gave me, fell asleep, and when I woke up, I was home.”
“Feels like you skipped a whole bunch of steps there.”
Everyone turned to look at Belquior.
But he had nothing to add.
Yuha ruffled her own hair.
“Well, what matters is you came back safe. But seriously, tell us more about that other world. Was it really that different from here?”
“I only went near the World Tree, so I can’t say for sure…
But it was more beautiful than anywhere I’ve ever been. How do I put it? It felt so pure and full of sacred energy… like another dimension.
Oh, and the World Tree spoke to me—in my head! I was so freaked out I screamed!”
Eunsae babbled excitedly, her cheeks flushed. Her friends’ expressions, however, grew a little more complicated.
“Why are you always so unbothered, even in an unfamiliar world?”
“I regret all the time I spent worrying about Yoo Eunsae. Seriously, what a waste!”
Sol clutched her chest and groaned in frustration.
Though he said nothing, Belquior silently agreed with all of it.
“But if the baby came from that world…”
Just as we were about to bring it up, a phone rang loudly.
“What the—? It’s Jinhyuk?”
Mirinae’s phone also buzzed with a flood of incoming messages.
Everyone immediately sensed something had happened.
“Hey, Jinhyuk.”
—“Guildmaster, it’s bad. Really bad. There’s breaking news—and it’s…!”
Mirinae’s eyes widened as she checked the messages.
They immediately pulled up the news on their phones.
“What is it? What’s going on?”
Everyone gathered around.
After reading the headline, a string of curses erupted from their mouths.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. A Yoo Eunsae marriage rumor just dropped.”

[Hunter Dispatch] Who Is Hunter Yoo Eunsae’s Mysterious Man?
(Photo taken from a distance, zoomed in)
The private life of monster tamer Yoo Eunsae—long shrouded in mystery—has finally been exposed.
Hunter Yoo Eunsae has been in seclusion for the past year, putting all hunter activities on hold.
Speculation has swirled throughout that time, but nothing had ever been confirmed—until now.
Last night, a tip-off reached our office.
As seen in the photo, Yoo Eunsae appears to be asleep in the arms of an unidentified man.
In the man’s other arm, a baby can be seen nestled close… (continued)

As long as Eunsae’s disappearance had been, the aftermath spiraled out of control just as wildly.
Not only were Eunsae and her friends flooded with media attention, but even A-rank hunters from the Dochun Guild were swarmed with interview requests.
Late at night, after running around all day trying to put out fires, the friends gathered again. Eunsae looked glum as she spoke.
“I’m really sorry, guys. All this is because of me…”
“What bastard did it? Huh? Who the hell took that photo and leaked it to the press?! I swear, I’ll wreck them.”
Sol muttered angrily as she poured herself a glass of whiskey, knocking it back without pause.
Mirinae added calmly,
“We checked—it didn’t come from our side. But the photo was taken just when you got back. Can you think of anything?”
“Not at all… I was unconscious, remember?”
Eunsae’s gaze shifted toward Belquior. He spoke up without hesitation.
“There was one who didn’t leave until the very end.”
“That’s the one! It has to be! If even that A-rank Park Doyoon didn’t catch them, then we’re dealing with someone with top-tier stealth. There aren’t many like that. Get the list. I’ll hunt them down one by one.”
“Sol, calm down. We can find out who it was after we figure out how to deal with this.”
A tense atmosphere filled the room as the S-ranks simmered with anger.
Eunsae, brows drawn, snuck a glance at Belquior.
“Um… Belquior-nim. I’m sorry. Because of that photo… everyone’s misunderstanding…”
“Misunderstanding?”
“They think you and I… are married. And I feel so bad for the baby, too…”
Belquior placed a hand on Eunsae’s head, who had lowered it apologetically.
What bothered him more than the photo was how downcast she looked.
“It’s fine. I haven’t been harmed in any way.”
“What? But doesn’t it bother you, being misunderstood like that?”
“There will always be people who enjoy gossip, no matter where you go. You shouldn’t let it affect you so much.”
Honestly, Belquior didn’t think this incident was that big of a deal.
Yes, partly because he didn’t grasp the media’s influence—but mostly because human logic didn’t really apply to a dragon.
If anything, he found it amusing that one photo was enough to spark marriage rumors.
“Humans do have vivid imaginations.”
To reiterate—he wasn’t upset.
“Eunsae, how do you want to handle this?” Mirinae asked.
“What else can we do? We tell the truth. We’re not married, the baby just ended up in my care somehow… and then we file a lawsuit for defamation and invasion of privacy. Simple.”
“They won’t believe it.”
“Honestly, I wouldn’t believe it either.”
“…”
Sol’s face scrunched up in irritation. Everyone turned their attention to Eunsae.
“I…”
