Without any greetings, he was about to leave when the junior suddenly introduced himself. Stopping and looking at him, he looked at Jungmin and gave a small smile before returning to his book as if he had quickly lost interest. Thinking what an unpleasant guy, Jungmin left the library.

And the next day, Jungmin understood why Kim Joohwan had greeted him. He was the only son of the co-investor in his father’s newly started business.

Jungmin and Youngmin’s father was the head of a large corporation that was one of the top 10 companies in South Korea.

Although his wife was Jungmin and Youngmin’s mother, he knew very well that she was not his legal wife. Youngmin didn’t have that sense, but Jungmin did. In a large house, his father came back once a week, and his mother always longed for that father.

And the year Jungmin and Youngmin turned 10, he divorced his legal wife. And half-siblings met at family gatherings….

This time, he went downstairs, assuming that his father was calling for that, and he saw a good-looking middle-aged man next to a face he had already met – and that had left a bad impression – Jungmin was surprised.

“Wow, he’s so handsome.”

Youngmin, who was coming down the stairs, whispered to Jungmin, looking at the boy standing in the living room.

“Really?”

“Yeah, I think he’s more handsome than Shinwoo hyung.”

Youngmin was being overly enthusiastic, but Jungmin cut him off and said no. No matter what, he’s not as handsome as Shinwoo hyung. “Hello. I’m Shin Jungmin.”

“Hello. I’m Shin Youngmin.”

After finishing the greeting and sitting on the sofa, Chairman Shin began boasting about his twin sons again, chuckling.

Youngmin said, smiling brightly. Kim Joohwan nodded.

“Yes, and we were in the same elementary and middle schools as the two sunbaes. You two probably didn’t know.”

Looking at Youngmin, who kept saying “daebak (amazing),” Jungmin sighed. Why is he showing so much affection? Jungmin wanted to get up and study one more character. But his father didn’t help. He just said, “The kids should go play since the adults have something to talk about.” It’s not like he’s a kid anymore.

“Yes! I understand! Leave Joohwan to us and you two talk! Joohwan! Let’s go!”

“Yes.”

Judging by the fact that his tone has gone up, it seems Youngmin is the most excited right now. Youngmin grabbed Joohwan’s hand, lifted him up, and went up to the second floor together. Jungmin also greeted his parents and cautiously got up and followed them with heavy steps. I should just let those two play and study.

“Jungmin, let’s go to your room!”

“What? Why my room? You have a room too.”

“We always went to your room together when Shinwoo hyung came, why are you acting so strange now?”

Youngmin stuck out his tongue and opened the door to Jungmin’s room with Joohwan. When the neatly organized room came into view, Joohwan’s face looked a little impressed.

“Jungmin sunbae’s room is really clean.”

“Right? It’s annoying. Sometimes. Even when the aunt cleans it, he wipes and cleans it himself. It’s not like he has a cleanliness obsession.”

Youngmin, on his own, sat Joohwan on the sofa in Jungmin’s room and talked badly about Jungmin. Whether they were talking or not, Jungmin sat at his desk and finished his studies.

Youngmin was causing a ruckus, leaning on the sofa. If he didn’t hang out with them, he probably wouldn’t break that stubbornness, and the atmosphere wouldn’t be conducive to studying, so Jungmin put down his pen.

Youngmin asked, eating the fruit and super star oranges brought by the aunt. Then Joohwan nodded.

“Yes. But I heard that the probability of becoming an Alpha is high.”

“Can you tell things like that?”

“Oh, it probably won’t be commercialized. Our group researches and makes medical devices and things like that. So, we sometimes test with experimental machines.”

“Can we try it too?”

Youngmin’s eyes sparkled. Jungmin hesitated. Can you tell if you will be an Alpha or an Omega? It’s intriguing, but…

“Jungmin, aren’t you curious?”

“No, not really.”

“Why~~?”

“It’s no fun if I know beforehand. I’ll wait.”

“I think it’s good… You can prepare in advance. Then, Joohwan, can’t I get tested in advance?”

Youngmin soon lost interest and put the strawberries back in his mouth, munching. After that, they talked about trivial and boring things. After Joohwan came to Jungmin and Youngmin’s house, he started to see him more often. One reason was because of Youngmin, who often invited Joohwan to his house or visited him at school.

Seeing Shinwoo frowning, Jungmin’s heart ached. He didn’t like Shinwoo looking at Youngmin like that, and he didn’t like being upset, or jealous, to see that. What does hyung lack? With that feeling, Jungmin held Shinwoo’s arm. Shinwoo looked at Jungmin, surprised.

“Hyung, sit down. What are you doing? Are you bragging about how tall you are?”

“Did it seem that way?”

“Yeah.”
