The Prince Seduces Me with His Body Chapter 130
After deciding on a hiding place, Diana and her group quickly exited through a secret passage in the Third Prince’s palace.
Kayden murmured quietly. “Nothing seems different… but apparently, we’re invisible to others. Anyway, Diana, are you alright?” His voice was filled with concern as he glanced down.
Diana, cradled in Kayden’s arms, looked a little pale. She smiled faintly. “For now, yes. It’s just that I’ve never hidden this many people before. Be careful, though—our presence isn’t completely concealed.”
“…Understood.”
Kayden tightened his grip around her. Although Diana claimed she was fine, he could feel her hands trembling slightly as she held onto his neck. The longer they delayed, the worse her condition would become.
Kayden resolved to get to Viscount Sudsfield’s estate as quickly as possible. He whispered to the others. “We’ll exit through the back gate. Follow closely. Mizel, look after the viscount.”
“Understood.”
After that, there was no more conversation between them. Kayden silently pushed off the ground, and Bella, Mizel, and Viscount Sudsfield followed.
Fortunately, the distance between the Third Prince’s palace and the back gate wasn’t far. Thanks to Diana’s quick actions and Elliot and Fleur’s timely distraction of the guards, there was still no one near the gate.
Carefully, Kayden, still carrying Diana, pushed the gate open with his foot. Just as he was about to step outside—Swish!
“…!”
The sound of something cutting through the air reached them from behind. Before his mind could even register it, Kayden’s body moved instinctively. He ducked just in time to avoid an arrow.
Thunk! The arrow grazed past his ear and embedded itself in the wooden door, causing it to rattle. Mizel’s hand moved like lightning, covering the viscount’s mouth to prevent him from screaming.
What was that? Kayden, startled, turned in the direction the arrow had come from. Mizel was also on high alert, scanning their surroundings.
Rustle—Then, from the previously quiet trees nearby, they sensed movement. A faint whisper, almost like the wind, could be heard.
“… That’s odd. Was it just the wind?”
Through the rustling leaves, Kayden briefly glimpsed a figure dressed all in black. A scolding voice followed.
“I know you’re excited because the duke personally gave this order, but you’re too tense. We almost got caught. Luckily, no one’s around right now.”
“I’m sorry…”
“Remember, our mission is to capture, not kill.”
“Yes, Senior.”
“Tsk. So, they think there’s another elementalist hidden by the third prince… I was surprised when he suddenly brought in that mid-level elementalist, Antar or whatever, and now this. Elementalists don’t just appear out of nowhere…” With that muttering, the presence disappeared completely.
If it weren’t for the arrow, they wouldn’t have noticed their pursuers at all; the stealth was flawless.
Capture? Could they be after… Kayden’s gaze unconsciously dropped downward, meeting Diana’s.
“…”
Without speaking, they both understood what the other was thinking. Diana bit her lip and tightened her grip on him.
‘Let’s get out of here.’
Reading her lips, Kayden nodded grimly. The group slipped out of the palace just before the knights arrived to secure the back gate.

“…This way, please.”
When Kayden and his group arrived at Viscount Sudsfield’s estate, the viscountess greeted them politely despite having no prior notice.
Diana felt a bit awkward at the change in the viscountess’s attitude, having always been looked at with disdain by her before. However, she didn’t let it show and followed Kayden inside.
The room the viscount and his wife provided for them was the most secluded in the estate, hidden behind two doors and almost like a secret chamber. Because of this, even the few remaining servants in the estate, unaware of their presence, did not discover the visitors.
“We will try to hold them off, but since we don’t know when the guards might arrive, it’s best if you stay in this room for the duration of your stay.”
Kayden nodded.
The viscount pointed to a square hatch in the floor, resembling a trapdoor, and added, “If you open that hatch, there’s a staircase that leads to the ceiling of the pantry. You can quietly retrieve food from there. If you need to communicate with me, pull that cord over there three times quickly.”
With a few more instructions, the viscount left. Mizel and Bella went down to the pantry to gather something for a meal.
Kayden and Diana sat across from each other on the sofa, their expressions serious. Diana pressed her lips together, frowning as she spoke.
“The nobles, including Duke Wibur, will probably claim our disappearance is Duke Findlay’s fault and that he tried to frame us for the emperor’s poisoning to cover it up. But they won’t hold that argument for long.”
“Exactly. If we had managed to retrieve any fake evidence hidden in the Third Prince’s palace, that would be one thing, but as it stands, we had to flee.” Kayden sighed in agreement.
The faction supporting the first princess, claiming Kayden had murdered the emperor, and the Third Prince’s faction, accusing Duke Findlay, were locked in a struggle. But as Diana had pointed out, the advantage would soon tip in favor of the first princess’s side. After all, Kayden was the only one known to have discovered the poison that had never been seen before, and the duke had likely already planted false evidence.
It’s not a perfect reason, but it’s plausible enough to be convincing.
At this point, Kayden and Diana had only one option left. They needed to find proof that Duke Findlay had researched and created the poison. If they could also prove he had been experimenting with mutated monsters, that would be even better.
The poison…
Right now, the poison was the most crucial piece of evidence. The poison used on Elliot and the emperor radiated a dark energy similar to dark-attribute spirits, yet far more ominous.
Diana murmured in a low voice. “It’s strange. The only reason I was able to tell that Prince Elliot had been poisoned was that I sensed a dark energy similar to that of dark-attribute spirits. And the duke…”
“…seems to have been experimenting with monsters. Researching how to create mutated ones.”
“Yes. And based on what those masked men said earlier… could it be that what the duke is after is…” Diana trailed off, hesitant to speak aloud the dark conclusion forming in her mind. But the clues were pointing in only one direction.
Kayden finished her thought in a hushed voice. “…Dark-attribute spirits.”
“…”
“Indeed, dark attribute spirits do have some similarities to monsters.” Kayden sighed deeply. “That lunatic… Wherever he got the idea, he seems to believe that by experimenting with monsters, he can create dark-attribute spirits. I wonder if he began monitoring us after realizing there was a dark elementalist near me during that last subjugation?”
“Yes, it seems likely…”
Diana sighed in resignation, now certain that her suspicions were not just idle thoughts. Unconsciously, she began to bite the skin next to her fingernail—a habit that emerged whenever she was deep in thought.
Kayden gently pulled her hand away, kissing the tips of her fingers as he stopped her. “You’re bleeding.”
“Ah…”
“I’m the only one allowed to bite you.”
“…I would have thanked you if you hadn’t added that last part. You pervert.”
Diana couldn’t help but laugh. No matter the situation, this man always found a way to make her smile. She let Kayden continue kissing her fingertips, giggling at the ticklish sensation—until his kisses became a bit too suggestive, and she swatted him away.
Kayden licked his lips regretfully but backed off, his expression growing serious again. “But where will we find the evidence? I’ve already had people tailing the duke, but they haven’t uncovered anything. Every time we think we’ve got him, he slips away.”
Kayden clicked his tongue in frustration. Right now, all they could think of was taking down the duke. Unless they could somehow uncover proof of the dark spirits elsewhere…
Just then, as Kayden was lost in thought, Diana’s eyes lit up. She had remembered something. Her face brightened as she spoke.
“There’s someone we can ask for help.”

It was the next day.
“Perfect timing. I was just about to tell her that I discovered something interesting, and I was wondering where she had gone.”
Fourth Concubine Miaena blew out a cloud of smoke as she stroked Muf, who had arrived with a violet-colored letter tied around its neck. Then, with a smirk, she grabbed a quill and began scrawling a reply.
