Boy Monster Chapter 43

Author: nicotine

“Captain Jae Eunho’s abilities, I acknowledge them. No one would have been able to tail you, Sir. They would’ve been caught and affected by your sympathy from the start. Well done. You really are the NIS’s top meerkat.”

Shi Taehyun was twirling something that jingled at his waist; I thought it was a jackknife, but it was Lim Geonhwi’s rank insignia. Eunho’s gaze traveled up Shi Taehyun’s hand. The back of his hand, where the flame tattoo began, was a dark, burnt flesh color. Scars and veins stood out all over the drawing on his dark skin.

“Come in, are we going to talk out here?”

Shi Taehyun gestured with his hand as he backpedaled toward the door. As Jae Eunho followed the man who was leisurely backing up and opening the door, he kept his guard up. Shi Taehyun entered the dark room and inserted the card key. Eunho kept the door open by wedging his left foot in between and spoke.

“Now, reveal the monster’s whereabouts.”

“Ah, where the monster is? Right here.”

Shi Taehyun opened the black backpack he was carrying on one shoulder. What filled the bag were binding ropes, steel handcuffs, anesthetic syringes, and a gag to block the mouth.

Puhaha…! Unable to hold back his laughter, the man leaned his large body against the wall. Eunho slowly raised his eyes, which had hardened with a blue killing intent. The hope that had been swirling in his chest just moments ago and the small expectation he had felt for the man all turned into rage.

“Sir, did you really believe me?”

In that moment, the fact that he felt betrayed was the most loathsome thing. He was even angry at himself for feeling such an emotion. Shi Taehyun slowly took out black gloves from his bag and put them on, ignoring Jae Eunho’s murderous intent.

“Let’s do what we need to do quietly. Please cooperate so I don’t have to use these.”

“Was the game pointless from the start?”

“You lost, though?”

At the answer, which was as good as being obstinate, Jae Eunho gave up on conversation. He finished preparing to put his hand inside his jacket and said.

“I’m warning you for the last time. Reveal your identity and who’s behind you, and spill everything you know about the terrorist organization.”

“And if I tell you everything? Are you going to use Sa Hwelju to take down enemies and start a rebellion? If it seems dangerous, you’ll put the monster in front to save your own life? Like before?”

Sa Hwelju? No, this bastard is definitely not Hweonu. There’s no way this bastard who plays with people could be that child. He’s just a criminal who happened to learn of the monster’s existence while tailing Jae Eunho! Hweonu wasn’t a son of a bitch who would tear Eunho’s heart apart like this.

The one who gave Eunho these wounds and caused him pain was Shi Taehyun. Yes, it’s Shi Taehyun. Jae Eunho spat vitriol at the indifferent face of the man who had put down the bag and stood up.

“You are just a worm and an evil that wanders the dirty underground, you are absolutely not Hweonu. Nor are you Sa Hwelju. Because that child is not human trash like you.”

Shi Taehyun replied in an annoyed tone.

“He probably pretended to be nice.”

It was a twisted logic that the boy had acted with a kind heart in front of Eunho. A dark, overwhelming presence and body approached Jae Eunho. Shi Taehyun tripped Jae Eunho’s leg and closed the open door.

Before shooting the gun, Eunho insulted the man one last time.

“The connection Sa Hwelju left in my body long ago is still valid. Sa Hwelju might not know about other humans, but he won’t leave a wicked and dirty bastard like you alone, so be careful.”

“Interesting….”

Shi Taehyun laughed briefly and wrapped his arm around Eunho’s neck, pulling him into his embrace. There was a reason he had let him close the hotel room door so obediently. It was something he had already decided after being convinced that the man was not Sa Hwelju.

If you are Sa Hwelju, you’ll live even if you get shot by this gun.

But if you are not Sa Hwelju, you’ll die. For me, it’s a choice with nothing to lose.

Jae Eunho, who had been looking for an opening with his animalistic sixth sense, moved quickly. The moment he pulled his hand out of his jacket and twisted his waist, the pistol stabbed deeply into the man’s stomach.

A single gunshot echoed through the hotel room.

Bang.

The bullet tore through the flesh that blocked Eunho. Pshik, blood splattered forcefully onto the wall and floor behind. The bullet fell to the floor. Jae Eunho confirmed that the bullet was drenched in blood and looked down. Bright red blood was spreading rapidly from the man’s shirt.

“Ah. …Nice shot.”

A belated mumble came from the man.

Eunho raised his head. Shi Taehyun, still holding Eunho, was laughing broadly. As if the act of hiding a gun all the way here and aiming for a vital spot at the right time was a satisfying spectacle, his face was excited! Jae Eunho shivered at the goosebumps that rose all over his body. The man was filled with vitality to the tips of his hair.

“You found this gun? You really….”

Jae Eunho looked at the stomach pierced by the bullet again. Soon, the blood pouring from the pierced organs would drench his stomach and waist, and the floor would be soaked in fresh blood. The blood would drip… drip…. It would wet the floor like the sound of rain. The man would collapse in the pain of his insides being torn apart.

Jae Eunho’s hand holding the gun trembled. Shi Taehyun pushed his body forward and moved the muzzle towards his chest. The muzzle was pressed against his hard muscles.

“Here. How about it.”

Jae Eunho put strength into the hand holding the trigger. Shi Taehyun, who grabbed his trembling hand, whispered.

“You have nothing to lose, why aren’t you shooting. You have to blow his head, his heart, to smithereens.”

“……!”

Shi Taehyun pushed his body in even harder. Jae Eunho, focusing on his arm so as not to lose the gun, misstepped with his left leg. He just needed to shoot, but his wrist felt stiff and wouldn’t obey. Even though the image of the man’s shoulder shaking violently from the recoil of the shot was vivid in his mind, he couldn’t pull the trigger.

“Shoot. Quickly! I’m excited.”

“Ugh!”

Shi Taehyun lightly pushed Jae Eunho. Eunho, who had fallen against the wall due to his misstep, quickly righted himself and aimed at the man. Cold sweat ran down his trembling back. At some point, Shi Taehyun, who had put his hand deep into the back of Jae Eunho’s head and grabbed his hair, tapped the back of Eunho’s hand.

“Are you not going to shoot? Or, shall I start my business first?”

Without giving Eunho a chance to think about his next move, his head was violently jerked back. Shi Taehyun dragged him by the hair and walked into the room. Even without being able to move his neck freely, Jae Eunho desperately held onto the gun and endured.

Shi Taehyun threw Jae Eunho onto the back of the sofa. Eunho, lying face down, looked straight ahead. Shi Taehyun, standing with his shoulders spread wide, was reflected in the floor-to-ceiling glass window that filled one wall of the room. Shi Taehyun, who had pressed his lower body tightly against Eunho in a doggy-style position, once again grabbed Eunho’s hair and lifted it up with a swish.

“Doing it while bleeding all over would be even crazier… hurry up, fuck…. Should I do it? Yeah, I’ll do it.”

Shi Taehyun bent Jae Eunho’s head to make him look at his face, and snatched the gun. The man spun the gun in the air with one hand and then turned the barrel around. The motion of putting the muzzle to his own stomach and trying to pull the trigger was so fast. Shi Taehyun shook Jae Eunho’s hair again. It was to make him see his face clearly at the moment of being shot.

“Look carefully, the scene you wanted.”

It was clear that the man would shoot Jae Eunho in the next moment. Jae Eunho had an immortal body anyway and would come back to life on the next solar eclipse even if he died before the lunar eclipse, but being captured now was a problem.

Jae Eunho momentarily put all his center of gravity into his twisted waist. Although his hair was still held by the man, he could twist his lower body. At the same time as he turned to lie down, he kicked the man’s pelvis with great force.

A loud cheer was heard. Subsequently, Shi Taehyun, whose wrist was hit by Jae Eunho’s kick, dropped the gun. Shi Taehyun obediently stepped back. Is the wound from the gunshot finally hurting? Is the signal of the gunshot wound finally coming? But he couldn’t let his guard down.

Eunho, leaning against the sofa and sitting down, stretched his foot towards the gun. He only resented his uncomfortable left leg. Shi Taehyun, who was watching Eunho trying to pull the gun towards him by hooking it with his heel, lifted his sneaker.

“Ah!”

Eunho was sent sprawling on the floor by the force of the foot kicking the gun hard. From his vision, which was stuck to the floor, he saw the gun fly far away towards the window.

Unless the gun had missed, this couldn’t be happening. He had seen with his own eyes that his side was pierced, but if that were the case, there was no way the man could be this fine. He couldn’t understand what was what at all.

Jae Eunho tried to get up by putting his hand on the floor. However, he was blocked by a force pressing down on his head. The smell of blood was thick. When he lifted his head, which was pressed down by a palm, the man’s upper body filled his vision. Shi Taehyun, who let out a faint sigh, took out a cell phone from his jacket and held it out. It was a cell phone Eunho knew well.

“Friends?”

The screen was off, but Eunho’s mind went blank. The reason the man had taken out Lim Geonhwi’s cell phone was clear. A voice, lowered as low as it could go, stabbed deep into Eunho’s chest.

“I thought you liked old-fashioned sex, but you were quite rough in bed. Well… I like it even more.”

Shi Taehyun blankly watched as Jae Eunho’s whole body trembled like an aspen tree. Yet, he didn’t stop talking.

“That boy you killed should know too. That your taste is getting hit by an old pervert, not him.”

“Shi Taehyun.”

It was the first time Eunho had called the man by his name. The man leaned his head forward slightly. It was a gesture to go on.

“In front of me… don’t mention that child.”

“Hoo…!”

Seeing the man cover his face and give a dry laugh, Jae Eunho felt the illusion of fireworks exploding in his head. Jae Eunho grabbed the man by the collar and pulled him up. Shi Taehyun took a step back at the force of Jae Eunho pushing his shoulder with his fist.

“I don’t know how lucky I am that you’re not Sa Hwelju. It would be much better to live doing that kind of thing with a perverted general than to live as your Yeonri.”

“……”

At Eunho’s words, Shi Taehyun’s mouth hardened for a moment and he gave an awkward smile. The man, who quickly hid his momentary displeasure, let out a sneer. The sneer, tinged with anger, pierced Eunho like a long sword blade.

“I told you. A promiscuous hole is more delicious. I don’t know about that stupid boy, but I like sluts who sleep around. I’ll treat you well.”

“You bastard, I told you, don’t mention that child.”

“Give it to me a few times too. Don’t go looking for chats.”

Jae Eunho swung his fist at Shi Taehyun’s cheek. Struck squarely in the face, Shi Taehyun staggered back a step or two. As Shi Taehyun turned his head, which had been turned to the side, back to the front, he wrinkled his nose bridge greatly.

Eunho grabbed the man’s collar again and swung his fist hard. This time, it was the corner of his mouth. The man’s mouth was drenched in blood from the hard punch.
