The clear weather and green hills made for a perfect mood. On top of that, watching Minji struggling and groaning behind them gave her a strange burst of energy.

Minji’s situation wasn’t the worst, though, because Jaeyoung had been sticking by her side the whole time. Helping her up the hill with a hand on her arm, the two of them looked surprisingly kind of cute.

Even though she changed the situation and prevented Minji from taking the best shot of her life, it didn’t seem like Jaeyoung’s feelings for Minji had changed.

Just like Gaeun had given her heart to Seongjun all over again… was Jaeyoung the same? Maybe it’s true, maybe you can’t change someone’s feelings. But wouldn’t it be nice if you could?

After hiking for over an hour, they finally reached the top. As soon as the sheep came into view, everyone forgot how tired they were and ran toward them, buzzing with excitement.

The friendly white-haired ranch owner went inside the fence and helped them feed the sheep themselves.

The most popular place among them was definitely the place with the baby sheep.

“Wow, they’re cute!”

“Ahh! They keep running at me!”

“One just licked me!”

“They’re so fluffy!”

Some people were a little freaked out by the lambs’ eagerness, but most of us were loving it. Minji, however, just stood there, too exhausted to join in, simply watching the others.

“Come on, Minji. You should join us.”

“Oh, I’m fine, really!”

“They’re so cute. Just try it once.”

Jaeyoung handed Minji a carrot. Minji awkwardly held out the carrot.

A small lamb trotted over, its tongue flicking out, but Minji kept pulling back, so it couldn’t reach the food.

“Here, just a little closer, like this.”

“Ah, I… EEH!”

“What’s wrong?!”

“Aww, it bit me!”

Minji clutched her hand dramatically. The cast and staff were surprised by the commotion and ran to Minji.

“Are you okay? Are you hurt?”

“Ughh, my hand!”

Minji’s hand was perfectly fine. Rather, the sheep seemed more surprised by Minji’s scream.

“Ah, sheep don’t have upper teeth, so they can’t really bite. There’s no need to worry.”

The ranch owner explained gently, but Minji still grumbled.

“So what, it’s okay to bite people as long as they don’t get hurt? It’s dirty!”

“We’ll bring you something to clean up with right away–”

“So I’m supposed to just stay like this, all dirty, until then?”

Minji’s voice was filled with pure irritation.

Maybe that hike had really done a number on her. She seemed a lot less patient than usual. Still, realizing she might have gone too far, she glanced around and quickly composed her expression.

“You scared me, seriously…”

Minji muttered and went outside the fence. A staff member quickly handed her some wet wipes, and she aggressively scrubbed her hands. The filming was paused for a moment.

Meeeeeee!

The baby lamb that had supposedly bitten Minji walked up to Haeyoung and gently bumped its forehead against her knee. Maybe it felt bad after being yelled at, its expression looked gloomy.

“It’s okay. You did well. It would have been better if you had teeth. Then you could’ve really chomped her.”

Haeyoung crouched down and whispered softly.

When she carefully scratched the baby lamb’s curly chin, the lamb rubbed its head against her hand clearly enjoying the affection. Its gentle eyes looked like they were smiling.

Where did you find it disgusting? It’s so cute.

The little lamb nudged its head into Haeyoung’s arms like it wanted a hug.

It was so soft, warm, and fluffy.

Just looking at the lamb melted away the stress and pressure she had been carrying the past few days. Yeah. Watching baby lambs is way more healing than looking at Woo Minji.

That was when the camera zoomed in for a close-up of Haeyoung’s face, who was smiling more innocently than ever.

Her bright face practically sparkled in the sunlight, and the cameraman, who had just swapped out his battery, didn’t miss the moment.

Minji, who was putting the used wet tissue waste in the staff’s hand, discovered that scene and her eyes lit up.

As filming resumed, Minji strutted back into the pen as if nothing had happened, giggling like she was having the time of her life. The same lamb she had called dirty just moments ago was now being hugged and petted while repeatedly exclaiming that it was cute.

After a while, Minji’s loud scream was heard.

Maybe the mother sheep had caught on to Minji’s act. It rammed her with its head, sending her tumbling, right into a heap of lamb poop.

Her dress, which had been marked as ‘sold out’ in the past, her shoes, her hat, everything was smeared in sheep poop.

“AAAAAAAH!!! WHAT THE—!”

In the end, Minji had to finish filming that day wearing a bright orange souvenir T-shirt sold at the ranch.

* * *

A nasty bruise bloomed on Minji’s chin. She must have hit something when she fell.

By the time we got back to the house, everyone was completely wiped. No one had the energy to cook, so they ordered a feast of delivery food and started drinking early.

Minji didn’t come out of her room for a long time, and only came out late at night with a smiling face as if nothing had happened.

“I was so surprised earlier that I swore without thinking… I’m sorry. I usually never curse.”

She scratched her head, her face flushed. Chanwoo consoled her, saying that it was okay, and that he sometimes swore first when he is surprised.

Since it was still early in the filming process, the scene of Minji cursing outright would obviously be cut during editing. However, none of the cast members could forget Minji’s appearance.

Even though no one had picked her during the first round, there had been a quiet fondness building for Minji among the male contestants. That delicate, gentle image she had had was now completely shattered.

“Looks like it’s message time again…”

Everyone visibly tensed. They seemed to be thinking about who to send it to as they thinking about today.

However, the screen lit up with a message that made everyone shoot to their feet.

There will be no text votes today.

“Huh? Really?”

“Wow, that’s amazing! I feel so much better all of a sudden.”

“Wait a minute, there’s more coming up!”

Instead, a gift has arrived.

“A gift? No way…”

At that moment, Haeyoung’s phone vibrated. They said there were no texts, but what is it?

[I’m here.]

Haeyoung immediately knew who the text was from.

Her heart began to race. A chill of anticipation ran from her fingertips all the way down her spine.

Her person was here.

Ding-dong!

The doorbell rang loud and clear.

“Whoa!”

“Someone new must be here!”

The female and male cast members all screamed in excitement. The mystery cast member had arrived.

Without anyone needing to say it, everyone rushed toward the front door. Haeyoung trailed behind, walking slowly.

She felt unreasonably giddy. Why? She already knew a new contestant would show up around this point. She already knew it was Yoonhyuk. So why was her heart beating this fast?ld appear by now, and I knew that it was Yoonhyuk, but why was my heart beating so fast?

Because he was the only one she didn’t have to lie to?

Or because she could control the situation a bit more to her liking when Yoonhyuk came?

She couldn’t tell what exactly she was feeling.

“Hello!”

“Welcome!”

The door opened and everyone greeted the newcomer. There were so many people packed in the entryway that she couldn’t get a clear view of Yoonhyuk’s face. Her mouth went dry at the sight of his silhouette that was barely visible.

Then, when Jaeyoung stepped aside a little, Yoonhyuk was finally ca into view.

Yoonhyuk gaze locked onto Haeyoung.

A languid smile, a sharp nose, and affectionate eyes.

The entire room fell silent into a moment of silence at the sight of Yoonhyeok. Everyone waited for Yunhyeok to open his mouth.

“Hello.”

Yoonhyeok’s low voice flowed out slowly. Even so, his eyes were still fixed on Haeyoung.

Have you been waiting long? His eyes seemed to be talking to Haeyoung.

Haeyoung’s lips slowly rose. My side is finally here.

The atmosphere at the table that had been bustling and noisy a moment ago changed significantly because of Yunhyeok’s presence. Tension hummed in the air.

The female cast members snuck shy, somewhat awkward glances at him, while the male cast eyed him warily, trying to size him up.

It must have been burdensome, but Yunhyeok calmly received each person’s gaze one by one. It seemed like it wasn’t the first time he had experienced such concentrated attention.

And even that appearance was so Han Yoonhyuk-like.

Meanwhile, sitting furthest from him, Haeyoung found herself oddly unable to look at him directly.

She already knew he was handsome.

But was he this handsome?
