The F-Rank Guild Master Has Too Much Money Chapter 47
“The admission requirement is that they need to be Hunters, right?”
“Yes. Not any specific type of Hunter—just anyone who’s awakened will be eligible for admission.”
“What about tuition?”
As expected from An Bom, who’d once struggled financially, she was the first to bring it up.
“All tuition and related expenses will be completely free.”
“What?”
Gumiho frowned. Seeing her act like the guild’s treasurer made me chuckle.
“Some awakened Hunters come from poor backgrounds.”
“But making it completely free seems a bit much…”
“The school’s operational costs will come entirely out of my own pocket, separate from the guild’s budget.”
“Running a school isn’t exactly cheap.”
“Come on, Choi Tae-hyuk. You know how rich our guild is, right? All of that came from my own funds. The school expenses don’t even make up one percent of what I have.”
So far, the guild hadn’t made a profit. Every single operational expense had come from my personal funds. Even the allowance the gods gave me was enough to cover the school’s costs several times over.
“Construction starts this morning. But before that, there’s one last thing to take care of—that’s why I called everyone here.”
“Wasn’t it to tell us about the school’s founding?”
I shook my head and handed out the prepared documents to An Bom, Gumiho, and Choi Tae-hyuk.
“Executive appointment forms?”
“Executive résumés?”
“Right, we’re gonna need board members,” Gumiho muttered, scanning the paperwork.
“That’s right. To establish a private school, we need official executives. I’ll be the chairman, and the three of you will serve as board members. Just fill out two sections and send them over—the administrative officer will handle the rest.”
As I spoke with a smug grin, An Bom and Gumiho burst into laughter.
Choi Tae-hyuk silently watched me for a moment, then pulled out his fountain pen and began filling out the form.
“Gumiho, I texted you the administrator’s address and contact info. Once you’re done, send the documents by same-day courier.”
“Got it!”
“And the most important part now is finding teachers to educate the kids. Please recruit Hunters who are at least B-rank or higher.”
“But most Hunters like that usually join guilds, right? I doubt many would want to become teachers.”
“They will if we offer high salaries. For the same pay, a lot of them would rather teach kids in a safe environment than risk their lives on missions.”
“That’s true. I’ll look into it,” Gumiho replied with a grin. “I’ll also check if there are any Hunters who already have teaching experience.”
“Good idea.”
“Oh, Guildmaster—wait.”
As I was about to stand up, Gumiho stopped me.
“Can we release this as a press statement?”
“Why?”
“It’d be great publicity—for both the school and the guild.”
Surprised by the suggestion, I nodded in satisfaction and headed to my room for a break. If I really established this private school, the Hunter Association would surely welcome it with open arms. After all, their mission was to oversee and manage every Hunter in Korea.
And my school? Free education, zero cost. From their perspective, it was all gain with no effort. Which meant that, from now on, the Hunter Association would be dancing in the palm of my hand.
“Not to mention, it’ll make gathering new heroes a lot easier.”

When I stepped into my room, I found Bia again—with Saphi in their mouth.
“Bia.”
The word came out more like a sigh, and Bia mumbled before spitting Saphi out with a little ptooey.
“Why are you two fighting again?”
“Meow meow meow.”
“Kkyuu-kyuuu.”
Bia meowed as if claiming they weren’t fighting but asserting dominance, while Saphi burst into tears, looking utterly heartbroken.
I picked up the crying Saphi and gently patted their head.
“Why do you keep picking fights you can’t win?”
“Meow.”
Apparently, their hierarchy still wasn’t settled. Bia, born from the natural order of beasts who submit to strength, tried to subdue Saphi by force. But Saphi refused to yield and attacked whenever they saw an opening.
Saphi had tried wind magic, physical attacks, even ambushes while Bia slept—but all ended in crushing defeat.
“If you’d just stop attacking first, Bia would leave you alone.”
“Kkyuu-kkyuu!! Kkyuu-kkyuu!!”
Saphi cried out in protest, but I couldn’t understand a word. I stroked their head in acknowledgment, then lay back on the bed with Saphi in my arms.
“Bia.”
As if waiting for the cue, Bia trotted over and curled up beside me like a loaf of bread.
“Grng-grng.”
With Ji Yun-seo’s school settled and the guild running smoothly, it seemed I could finally relax for a while.
“Let’s just eat, sleep, and play for now.”
“Meow,” Bia replied softly.
Maybe it was because I’d pulled an all-nighter, but drowsiness quickly washed over me. I was just about to drift off when a knock sounded, followed by the door opening.
“Uncle?”
“Hmm?”
Ji Yun-seo poked her head through the doorway, cheeks flushed from running around with Kero in the underground training room after lunch.
“Are you sleepy, Uncle?”
“No, just taking a break. You remember we’re meeting your other uncle and aunt tonight, right?”
“Yup.”
Even though I said I wasn’t sleeping, Yun-seo came over with quick little steps, her face glistening with sweat. At some point, Kero had decided she looked too weak and took it upon himself to train her. He’d drag her down to the training room, and the two would play tag.
Kero would dash just fast enough to almost get caught, and Ji Yun-seo, finding it fun, would chase him with laughter. Thanks to their little “training,” her stamina had improved a lot—so both An Bom and I kept rewarding Kero with premium beef.
“Alright, go take a bath now. You’ve gotta look nice for the aunties and uncles.”
Ji Yun-seo was used to washing herself, but since she’d learned from other kids rather than adults, An Bom or Gumiho always accompanied her just in case.
“Yun-seo, there you are.”
Right then, An Bom—whom I’d been about to call—entered the room.
“Auntie!”
Ji Yun-seo ran into her arms, and An Bom, holding her close, glanced over at me sprawled across the bed.
“Did Saphi and Bia fight again?”
“Yeah. Saphi lost.”
“I wish those two would get along.”
“Yeah! Like Kero and I do!”
…Yun-seo, that’s not getting along. That’s mutual indifference.
“You’re all sweaty, Yun-seo. Let’s get you washed up.”
An Bom, who had been watching the defeated Saphi with pity, left the room with Ji Yun-seo. Not long after, I got a message from Gumiho—she’d reserved a nearby restaurant for tonight’s dinner gathering.
I gently set down the fast-asleep Saphi, clearly exhausted from today’s chaos, and called out to Bia.
“Meow?”
“I’m heading out to eat. Stay home with Saphi, and no fighting.”
Bia, who had started to follow me, paused and curled up again on the sofa.
“I mean it. No fighting.”
“Meow.”

I’ve bet everything. I’ve bet it all.
Ignoring the pop-ups and the gods’ running commentary, I eyed Bia suspiciously before heading to the study to grab the bag I’d packed yesterday. It was so heavy that I staggered with every step.
“Ugh, maybe I really do need endurance training.”
Grunting, I shuffled toward the bathroom door and knocked.
“An Bom, I’ll be downstairs.”
“Okay! Yun-seo’s almost done washing up—we’ll be right down!”
Hearing her reply, I stepped onto the teleport gate leading to the first floor. As light wrapped around me, a voice came from above.
“What’s this?”
The crushing weight on my shoulders vanished the instant I arrived downstairs.
Choi Tae-hyuk stood there, holding the heavy bag effortlessly in one hand. His hair was still damp—he must’ve just finished showering after training.
‘He’s been working out again.’
Was it exercise addiction left over from his athletic days? Unless he was busy with vice-guildmaster duties, he was always at the gym. He’d been in the office just a while ago, so he must’ve squeezed in a quick session.
“Oh, I bought this recently. Thought I’d share it with everyone. Were you exercising?”
“Yes, just for a bit. …I’ll carry this.”
“It’s fine, I can—”
Ignoring me entirely, Choi Tae-hyuk slung the bag over his shoulder and asked,
“Are you leaving the monsters behind?”
“Yeah. It’s a restaurant for regular people. Wouldn’t be right to bring them along.”
Choi Tae-hyuk nodded in understanding and started walking ahead. As I followed, I noticed droplets clinging to the ends of his hair, falling onto his shoulders with each step. With a flick of my hand, I conjured a warm breeze to dry his hair. He stopped and turned.
“I’m the guildmaster—it’s only right I look after your health. You’ll catch a cold walking around like that.”

‘What are these gods even talking about…’
“I won’t catch a cold from something like this.”
“Even healthy people catch colds.”
I shrugged as his damp hair finished drying under the breeze, then walked past Choi Tae-hyuk.
While I waited by the guild’s front entrance, Ji Yun-seo, An Bom, and Gumiho came out—bundled up against the evening chill.
Unlike the warm afternoon, the night air was cold, so everyone except Choi Tae-hyuk and me wore thick coats.

From now on, “so cute I could die” is official slang! Auntie loves you, Yun-seo!!
Even her bear-eared hat had little bells on the tips, and her fluffy coat had white pom-poms attached. Her sheer cuteness left me speechless.
‘How can someone be that cute?’
“Guildmaster, aren’t you cold?”
“No, I can control the wind. You’re dressed adorably, Yun-seo.”
“I’m cute?”
“You’re the cutest in the whole world.”
I lifted her into my arms. Her tiny hands wrapped around my neck as she rubbed her forehead against my shoulder. Overwhelmed by her sweetness, I kissed her hat—only for Choi Tae-hyuk to swoop in and take her from me like he was stealing treasure.
One arm held the bag, the other held Ji Yun-seo. Maybe being S-rank meant it didn’t even feel heavy.
“…I can walk by myself.”
“Let’s let it slide today. Go with your uncle, Yun-seo.”
I was ready to pick her up again if she looked disappointed, but to my surprise, Ji Yun-seo settled comfortably in Choi Tae-hyuk’s arms.
‘Since when did they get so close?’
Feeling a strange mix of disappointment and relief, I followed Gumiho toward the restaurant.
“Gumiho, what about Park Young-jun?”
“He said he doesn’t want to go unless he’s forced to.”
He’d mentioned wanting to avoid people as much as possible, so I hadn’t expected him to come anyway. I nodded.
It didn’t take long to arrive—she must’ve picked somewhere nearby because of the cold. Inside the private room the waiter led us to, Seo-ho and Jeon Ha-eun were already waiting.
“So you’re Yun-seo?”
“Nice to meet you, Yun-seo.”
Just like with Bia earlier, both Jeon Ha-eun and Seo-ho seemed to melt at the sight of anything cute. The moment I set Ji Yun-seo down, they rushed over. Startled by the sudden attention, Ji Yun-seo hid behind my leg, making everyone burst into laughter.

I swear I’m going insane—her cuteness is lethal!
“Yun-seo, these are the people who’ll be working with your uncle. Go on, say hello.”
“Hello.”
Though shy, she put her hands together and bowed politely. I picked her up and sat down—but Choi Tae-hyuk immediately took her and seated her between us.
Now we were lined up: me, Ji Yun-seo, then Choi Tae-hyuk. The others quickly followed and took their seats.
“Have you ordered?”
“Yes, we did on the way in.”
Once Gumiho answered, Choi Tae-hyuk reached for the bag beside him.
“Oh, right. Here—this is for all of you.”
