The Only Woman in a Zombie Apocalypse Vol. 2 Chapter 66 - Battle with Humans (2)

So, the entire group aimed their guns at the man.

“Do you know how many guns are pointed at you? Don’t even think about trying anything. Put your hands up and get up.”

The man pulled his penis out of the woman, raised his hands, and stood by the bed.

Even with guns pointed at him, his eyes gleamed as he looked at Dayoung.

Seeing him like that, Dayoung snorted in contempt. You’re just wrong, right from the look of you.

To tie the man up, Hayun and Dodam approached with their guns drawn, while Ian and Jiseok wrapped the woman in a blanket.

The man stared intently at the two of them and then smirked.

“Well, look who it is. The little runts who all ran away together. Did the rest of them die? Seeing you walking around with others, I guess they did. They’re dead. Serves you right for running away.”

“Shut his mouth first.”

After Hayun tied the man’s hands and gagged him, Dayoung called out to the two people standing behind the man. Then, Fweet—without a single error, the man’s limp, dangling penis exploded.

“Aghk!!! Ughh-aackk!!!”

“You son of a bitch, you’re the one who’s going to die. Our two teammates here are living well, eating well, so worry about yourself, you bastard.”

Dayoung was furious.

Looking at the man’s face, an inexplicable rage surged within her. Striding out of the room, she went to the next room, slammed the door open with a bang, and pulled the trigger.

Seeing Dayoung like that, the group stayed quiet, hiding their bodies as if they had honey in their mouths.

A short while later, Dayoung returned to the room. Then, she smirked and said to the man:

“Tango—18 people, 15 dead. Two jackpots rescued. Cleared.”

“Whoa. Dayoung noona was so damn cool! She was like our leader. Amazing!!!”

“She was cool? I’ve always wanted to try something like that when watching movies. Let’s take her and go to the second floor. Is that okay?”

Dayoung approached the woman and asked her kindly.

The woman flinched at the sight of Dayoung coming towards her. She was scared because Dayoung was coming closer while holding a gun.

She was frightened by Dayoung, who seemed unfazed even after cruelly firing the gun and having blood splattered on her face.

But at the sight of Dayoung smiling warmly and asking kindly, the woman found herself nodding and sticking close to Dayoung.

Dayoung hugged the woman and patted her back.

“You were scared, right? You held on well… You did a good job.”

“Sob… Thank you… Thank you for saving me.”

The woman cried for a long time, and after Dayoung dressed her and said they were going downstairs, the others dragged the man bleeding from his penis down to the second floor.

Minshik, seeing the man, covered his own crotch and asked.

“What’s wrong with him?”

“Noona was pissed and shot him. By the way, shouldn’t we stop the bleeding for this? If this continues, he could die from excessive bleeding, right?”

“Leave him. It’s his own fault.”

Hayun pushed the man towards the two tied-up men and said.

Ian and Jiseok seemed to have something they wanted to ask, but he’d probably stay alive for that amount of time.

Dayoung brought the woman downstairs to the second floor, handed her over to Seojun, and headed towards the tied-up men. She removed the gags from their mouths, sat on the bed, and aimed her gun at the three men kneeling on the floor.

“Ian and Jiseok oppa. Ask whatever you want to ask.”

Ian approached the man with many earrings, crouched down to meet his eyes, and asked.

“Why did you kill my sister?”

“P-please, spare me.”

“Only answer what I ask you.”

Ignoring the question, the man kept pleading for his life.

Dayoung pressed the gun against his head and said ominously, “Th-that… I didn’t mean to kill her. She came at me, so I pushed her… and she hit her head on the wall…”

“What?”

“I didn’t know she would die like that! I was so stressed, I felt like I was going to die too!”

His words left Dayoung bewildered.

Was he saying he killed a woman for such a trivial reason?

She couldn’t understand how physically strong men, who should be protecting the weak, would hit and torment young girls for their own desires.

“You killed a girl who had just become an adult for such a pathetic reason? If you wanted to hit someone so badly, you should have hit a zombie! For such a stupid reason… our Iseo… is dead?”

“B-but zombies… if something goes wrong, I could die! The men have to go out and gather food! Do you know how hard it’s been to protect you people?”

“Ha…”

Ian muttered quietly. Ian, who was always upright and thought of others first.

A kind man who, even after what happened to his sister, still trusted and accepted people.

Ian stood up, stared out the window for a moment, then raised his gun and pressed the barrel against the man’s head.

“Spare me! Please, spare me!”

“My sister probably said the same thing, didn’t she? Begging for her life.”

Without hesitation, Ian pulled the trigger.

As the man beside them fell with a bullet in his head, the two tied-up men began to tremble.

The man with dumpling-shaped ears trembled as he looked at Jiseok.

He was such a small, insignificant man, so how had he seemed so large that day?

Why had he never even thought to crush them with his own strength? He had learned combat but they had been utterly useless, and he had criticized himself so much for it.

“Kang Jisu. Do you remember?”

At Jiseok’s words, the man with dumpling-shaped ears hesitated. It seemed he didn’t remember.

“Don’t you remember the woman with the mole next to her lip here?”

“Ah! I, I remember! I remember now! But I didn’t kill her!”

“Then?”

“W-well… you see, she was weak to begin with, and I didn’t hit her even once!”

“How… how could you even think of hitting a woman like that…?”

“I never intended to do that from the start. We just gathered the women to relieve our sexual desires… but those two fought back fiercely and didn’t listen even when we hit them, so the others got angry and hit them… I’m sorry. I’m really sorry!”

Excuses that didn’t even sound like proper excuses.

The surviving men weren’t limited to just them. Even in a lawless world, Jiseok believed there were things one should uphold as a human being.

“If you’re a man, you should know how to cherish and protect those without power. When I first came here, I was somewhat relieved to hear they were athletes. I thought that at least they would protect the weak. But I realized it wasn’t that kind of world. However, because of that, we tried even harder to help and protect others. And the result is what you see now.”

The appearance of the group holding guns. While the weapon of a gun might make them seem stronger, they were people with strong hearts.

People who couldn’t stand injustice and knew how to help the weak.

Jiseok looked at the man with dumpling-shaped ears with pity, then pulled the trigger.

Ian and Jiseok, in their hearts, wanted to torment them even more. They wanted to make them hurt as much as the two boys had suffered. But doing that wouldn’t bring the two boys back to life.

They just felt a desire that no one else would be hurt because of these people anymore.

“So, what should we do with the leader?”

Kim Dayoung looked at the man trembling uncontrollably and raised one corner of her mouth in a smile.

Despite her pretty face, the venom in Dayoung’s eyes made it feel terrifying.

“Wait a moment!”

As Dayoung was thinking about how to kill the man, or whether to kill him with her own hands, two women supporting Seojun stood in front of the room door.

At the women’s urgent calls, Dayoung looked at them curiously.

Surely, they weren’t about to say some filthy words begging for his life?

“That person! We want to kill him.”

“Huh?”

“Us! Please let us get our revenge too!”

Dayoung was taken aback by the women’s words.

Of course, Ian and Jiseok were men, and because they had long remembered their younger brothers, they wanted to finish the revenge with their own hands.

But she didn’t want to make the women do it.

Because no matter how evil someone is, if you kill a person, that memory lasts for a very long time.

Their eyes held a firm resolve.

Looking at the two women, Dayoung regretted her own foolish thought of trying to prevent them from getting revenge just because they were women.

“Um, my younger sibling is in the building next door. Her father is here. We want to take him there.”

“Alright. As the ladies wish.”

Dayoung signaled to Hayun and Dodam, and the two dragged the man outside.

It was past 8 o’clock, the sun had already set, and it was getting dark, creating a gloomy atmosphere.

Dayoung made the man kneel in front of the building, and the two women ran into the building where their families were.

Shortly after, the two women came out of the building with people who appeared to be their families, holding flashlights. Others who had been staying here with them also came out.

People who hadn’t heard the full story began to murmur, looking at Dayoung and her group holding guns.

Then, they saw the naked leader kneeling beside Dayoung, and they were astonished and trembled with fear.

“What is this? Who are you?”

“Dad, they saved me.”

“Saved you? What are you talking about? The leader is captured like that!”

“The leader told us they saved us. I was trapped in that building dealing with men! They even threatened that if I talked to you during meals, they would kick you out beyond the barricade!”

“What?”
