The golden text vanished, and with it, the cameras surrounding me and Im Hyangmin, along with the staff positioned in every corner, all disappeared like smoke.
“What is this.”
Suddenly possessing like this?
That’s when Im Hyangmin opened his mouth.
“You, you’re caught. All of it.”
Hearing those words made me flinch in surprise.
The situation had rewound back to the moment we’d started filming the scene.
Confusion flooded through me instantly.
I stared quietly at Im Hyangmin.
It wasn’t Im Hyangmin but ‘Lee Dongkyo’ standing before me.
Just like every other time I’d possessed some characters.
Why did I suddenly possess Han Jina?
I’d never possessed character in the middle of active filming like this before.
And there wasn’t even a mission or reward.
When I remained silent for a long time, Lee Dongkyo furrowed his brow and spoke again.
“Exercising your right to remain silent?”
“….”
I lost my words.
Retracing the script content, I barely managed to speak.
“So. Got a warrant?”
My voice trembled slightly.
“Yeah, I’ll bring one soon. Before that, wanted to ask you something.”
“….”
“Lee Seonghoon.”
The dialogue continued following the script exactly.
Lee Dongkyo’s tone, breathing, and emotional line were almost identical to Im Hyangmin’s performance.
“Kim Minchul. You don’t even know the name of the person you killed?”
“How would I. I’ve never killed anyone.”
“You really are… a nasty bastard, huh?”
“…Did you just curse at me?”
The moment I finished speaking, Lee Dongkyo slammed his fist down on the table with a bang.
On my end, I continued acting without a single thing organized in my head yet.
“No one’s ever scolded me like this before, not once.”
“What?”
“I’m actually kind of happy right now…. Do this, don’t do this. You’ll get scolded if you do this, and so on. I grew up never hearing things like that.”
Lee Dongkyo raised his eyebrows and stared at me in a slightly agitated state.
Looking at that face, I leaned forward and drew closer.
‘Why is this happening.’
My mouth delivering lines and my confused mind operated separately.
“Is that why? Someone shows up who scolds me and I’m just so happy?”
“….”
“But you know. I should’ve actually done something wrong to get scolded.”
“…….”
“If you scold me so unreasonably like this, it makes me feel wronged.”
I spoke quietly while mechanically arranging my expression.
But suddenly Lee Dongkyo looked at my face and let out a small laugh.
Seeing that face made me freeze, caught off guard.
It was a reaction not in the script.
He wore an openly condescending expression, as if asking whether intimidating him like this would work.
It felt like Han Jina’s power shriveled up in an instant.
And then, the golden text appeared before my eyes again.
[You have not found the correct answer.]
“What…?”
In an instant, my vision went dark as if a blackout had occurred.
* * *
“You, you’re caught. All of it.”
And then, I returned to the beginning again.
‘What is this…!’
I stared at Lee Dongkyo with even more confused eyes.
Why this possession…
Why am I practicing this scene?
Is there some reason?
Because I couldn’t perform well on set?
Because my heart wasn’t satisfied?
I bit my lip slightly at this inexplicable phenomenon.
Script possession had always been irregular and random.
Though I’d received tremendous help thanks to experiencing things firsthand with characters in the possessed world…
Right now, I didn’t want this possession.
‘I wanted to solve this myself.’
I didn’t want to rely on script possession at every turn like this to act.
Within a large-scale production, under heavily disadvantageous conditions at that.
I wanted to test my abilities between Im Hyangmin and Jin Changju.
I wanted to build skill and experience with this opportunity.
I especially wanted to solve this difficult scene myself.
I felt like there would be exhilaration at the end of that.
Feeling a bit angry, I opened my mouth.
“Let me out.”
Deep wrinkles formed on Lee Dongkyo’s forehead as he watched my absurd reaction.
“I don’t want this kind of possession. Let me out!”
I stood up, kicking my chair back as I shouted.
[You have not found the correct answer.]
As if saying ‘fat chance,’ the golden letters appeared again.

When I came to my senses again, the same situation began repeating once more.
“You, you’re caught. All of it.”
It felt like I’d fallen into an infinite loop.
I let out a heavy sigh.
So I absolutely have to accomplish it.
I lowered my head briefly, then lifted it to meet Lee Dongkyo’s eyes again.
Lee Dongkyo watched me intently.
Lee Dongkyo’s brown eyes felt like they were urging an answer from me.
Would it not let me out until I completed this scene—in other words, until I ‘found the answer’?
There’s an ‘answer’ to this scene?
Then what I’d performed wasn’t the answer.
How strange.
Where’s the answer supposed to be in acting.
This system felt a bit ridiculous.
Somehow my morale completely deflated.
I opened my mouth again.
“So. Got a warrant?”
Right, let’s try until I’ve tried everything.
I began exchanging dialogue with Lee Dongkyo in sequence.
“Is that why? Someone shows up who scolds me and I’m just so happy?”
“….”
“But you know. I should’ve actually done something wrong to get scolded.”
Unlike the performance I’d done earlier, I leaned back in my chair and crossed my legs with a calm and collected attitude.
The intention was to show my usual leisurely demeanor.
“If you scold me so unreasonably like this, it makes me feel wronged.”
Then a different reaction than before burst from Lee Dongkyo’s side.
“Hey, Han Jina!!!”
His voice was much louder than when Im Hyangmin had performed it.
“You remember the day we first met, right?”
I twirled my hair with completely unbothered hands as I spoke.
“What, the orphanage?”
“Yeah, the orphanage. I go lots of places besides there, you know. Where else would you find such a charitable chaebol?”
Then Lee Dongkyo’s face twisted as he burst into explosive laughter.
I hardened my expression completely and stared at him.
Lee Dongkyo laughed incredulously while speaking with a heated face.
“Ha, this is driving me crazy. Do you not go to a psychiatrist? That’s an illness you’ve got. Ripley? Or is it not? Delusions? Multiple personalities?”
“I’m thinking of going because of ahjussi lately. My heart’s been so troubled. You keep saying scary things like murder and drugs.”
Then Lee Dongkyo shot up from his seat and walked around the table in a circle.
Lee Dongkyo lowered his waist and met my eyes.
“Fine, wriggle out all you want. Today’s your last day to run away from me.”
Without hesitation, I reached out and touched that face.
I brought up something completely unrelated, as if not focused on this conversation at all.
“Yesterday, I had a dream. We were really… passionate?”
I stared straight into Lee Dongkyo’s eyes from close enough to feel his breath.
And unlike during filming, I gradually added strength to my voice, beginning to infuse small bits of anger.
I was planning to experiment with a completely different tone and atmosphere.
“The one who should run away isn’t me, it’s ahjussi. What if I really end up properly interested like this?”
“….”
“I get pretty obsessed. Whether it’s things or people… I definitely play with them until they break.”
I stroked Lee Dongkyo’s cheek with cool hands, then grabbed the back of his neck firmly.
“…….”
“This is my final warning too. Don’t dig into me anymore. If you do, I won’t go easy on you.”
I hardened my expression sharply and glared at Lee Dongkyo.
Lee Dongkyo glared back at me in the stillness without blinking once.
‘Will this work.’
I held my breath and kept the silence for a moment…
But again, the golden letters appeared.
[You have not found the correct answer.]

“You, you’re caught. All of it.”
Nevertheless, I returned again.
I stared silently at Lee Dongkyo’s face.
What the hell is the answer?
I was getting angry enough to explode.
I just threw lines out recklessly.
Without any calculation or intention.
“So. Got a warrant?”
“Yeah, I’ll bring one soon. Before that, wanted to ask you something.”
“If you ask, who’s going to answer?”
My speech naturally became rough without meaning to.
I raised my tone sharply right away without considering saving the emotional buildup for later sections.
Then for a moment, Lee Dongkyo hesitated.
“Lee Seonghoon.”
“Who’s that.”
“Kim Minchul.”
“Who.”
I responded as if interrogating him back every single time.
I pushed against Lee Dongkyo while adding lines not in the script.
Then Lee Dongkyo also started getting rougher.
“You don’t even know the name of the person you killed?”
“How would I. I’ve never killed anyone.”
Lee Dongkyo and I growled simultaneously, glaring at each other as if ready to kill.
“You really are… a nasty bastard, huh?”
“…Did you just curse at me?”
I frowned.
That’s when Lee Dongkyo slammed his fist down on the table with a bang.
Watching him, I laughed out loud.
Like he was cute, I softened my expression and chuckled slightly while crossing my arms.
I openly adopted an arrogant attitude.
“No one’s ever scolded me like this before, not once.”
“What?”
“I’m actually kind of happy right now.”
Lee Dongkyo stared at me, flustered.
“Do this, don’t do this. You’ll get scolded if you do this, and so on. I grew up never hearing things like that.”
“….”
“Is that why? Someone shows up who scolds me and I’m just so happy?”
“But you know. I should’ve actually done something wrong to get scolded. If you scold me so unreasonably like this, it makes me feel wronged.”
From this latter section onward, I continued with anger-laden tones, but pressing down that anger, suppressing it tightly while desperately maintaining composure as I delivered the lines.
Unable to stand it anymore, Lee Dongkyo stood up again and approached me.
Lee Dongkyo lowered his waist and met my eyes more furiously than ever before.
His pupils had dilated slightly from complete agitation.
Seeing those pupils sent chills down my spine.
Lee Dongkyo spoke as if chewing his lines to pieces.
“Fine, wriggle out all you want. Today’s your last day to run away from me.”
After hearing those words, I pulled the corners of my mouth up into a bright smile, then raised my hand and placed it on Lee Dongkyo’s cheek.
“Yesterday, I had a dream. We were really… passionate?”
Lee Dongkyo’s eyebrows moved microscopically.
“The one who should run away isn’t me, it’s ahjussi. What if I really end up properly interested like this?”
“….”
“I get pretty obsessed. Whether it’s things or people… I definitely play with them until they break.”
“…….”
In the chilling atmosphere, I stroked Lee Dongkyo’s cheek and jaw, then reached out to grab the back of his neck.
I gently kneaded the back of his neck with my fingertips.
Then brought my face close to his ear and spoke quietly.
“This is my final warning too. Don’t dig into me anymore. If you do, I won’t go easy on you.”
Lee Dongkyo clenched one hand on the table into a tight fist.
I quietly watched that fist—so tight his hand turned white, packed full of tension.
