===========================

– With AIM, Boys’ World, Glassy, and Rose Day, it’s crazy lol The 1st tier idols are all out.

– When’s AIM promoting again? They’re already washed, once Shiyoon goes to the army, they are done lol The trend is Boys’ World

└ Yeah next mental patient~ They promoted until the repackage in March and May and chewed up everything this time too^^ No matter how much you guys act crazy, they are Grand Prize singers for 6 consecutive years.

Incheon Munhak Stadium.

Today, 23 idol groups including DASE and 40,000 fans were scheduled to gather here.

Namkyung received DASE’s rehearsal time from the concert staff the day before. Although their main stage was somewhat in the middle of the order, due to the rehearsal starting early, DASE had to leave the dorm at the crack of dawn.

“It’s our first time at an event like this besides music shows. Right?”

Yooyeon said in an excited voice.

“Looking at the lineup, it’s no joke. I still can’t believe our name is included there.”

Yooyeon was looking at KCON-related articles on his phone. At the bottom, there were quite a few comments from fans cheering for their singers.

– Mark-doongies going to KCON! Let’s make Incheon a sea of blood today!! Let’s sing along hard for those who couldn’t come! Let’s properly boost our kids’ spirits!!!

‘Mark-doongie’ was the nickname AIM used to call their fans.

The official fan club name was Mark. Meaning target, it was a pair that matched the group name meaning Aim, Sniper.

Suddenly lifting his head, Yooyeon called Namkyung.

“Hyung.”

“Uh. What is it?”

Namkyung was organizing schedules in the passenger seat. He turned around.

“Are they not making a fan club for us?”

DASE had no time to think about anything else as they just ran hard since their debut. However, it seemed they developed a desire for an official fan club after the U-App broadcast a few days ago.

“Ah, that?”

Sensing an attitude that suggested he knew something, the members who were pretending not to listen all looked at Namkyung at once.

He pulled up a memo on his phone, and the moment he looked up, he felt intense pressure without a single word being said.

“What is it, these burdensome gazes….”

It would have been big trouble if he said he knew nothing.

“What did the company say?”

Even Baekya, who usually fell into deep sleep as soon as he got in the car, was blinking his eyes wide open.

“I was going to tell you when we got there… I guess it’s better to just do it now?”

“Of course!”

Cheong drummed his palms rapidly on his knees, saying he couldn’t wait.

“Originally, it should have been announced with this comeback, but they said the schedule got pushed back a little.”

Even a big agency didn’t run perfectly 365 days a year. On top of that, AIM—the company’s flagship group—was heading into a military hiatus.

Even though DASE was gaining traction, the company likely decided it made more sense to prioritize AIM, whose fandom was already solid.

In short, DASE had been pushed down the priority list.

‘Well, there are many groups without a fan club yet.’

The members nodded their heads with understanding faces.

“The name is out. This is the name the company proposed.”

Night.

DASE had a pronunciation similar to Day. While the meanings were different, the group slogan already played on wordplay, so the company thought ‘Night’ would pair well as the counterpart.

“Day and Night?”

Cheong repeated with fluent pronunciation.

“Oh~ When you hear it like that, it sounds classy.”

Yulmu nodded, saying it was familiar and easy to remember.

“You can speak freely about it. The company said they’d respect your opinion on this.”

It was a name that would be with DASE forever. Namkyung added that since the members would call it more than anyone else, if even one person didn’t like it, they could suggest other options as much as they wanted.

“I’ll tell the company.”

However, the reaction was good.

“I think Night is okay. What do you guys think?”

Minseong naturally leading the discussion.

“I think it’s good too.”

“Me too.”

Following Baekya who cast a vote in favor, Jihan also expressed his opinion. Cheong, Yulmu, and Yooyeon were no different.

“Then we go with Night?”

With this, DASE’s official fan club name was confirmed. Although it would take more time to reveal it to the fans, the members were already excited discussing what nickname would be good.

“Can’t you just tell them now? What if my neck falls off waiting until tomorrow?”

Yooyeon urged him to quickly tell the company their decision. As one person urged, everyone jumped in, so Namkyung had to make the call as if being chased.

Meanwhile, the car DASE was in arrived at the stadium.

“They say other teams might be a little late.”

Traffic had already started to clog up. No surprise, given the weekend and a massive concert.

“We still have time. Then I’ll meet them and come up, so you guys go first.”

After parking, Deokjin checked the time. Only DASE, Namkyung, and Deokjin were pre-registered. To handle passes for the remaining staff on-site, the rookie manager stayed behind.

Turned into ducklings once again, DASE trailed closely behind Namgyeong.

[K-Concert DASE]

“Is it here?”

DASE’s name tag was attached to the closed waiting room door. When opened, a fairly large space appeared.

“Is there originally nothing here?”

Cheong looked around, disappointed.

Unlike broadcast stations with proper waiting rooms, the stadium-provided space was closer to an empty room.

A pile of plastic chairs in the corner and two folding tables—that was it.

“Once Deokjin gets here, we’ll set it up. You guys rest for now.”

At that, Baekya immediately pulled out a chair.

“Sleeping again?”

“Not sleeping. I’m going to sit.”

Minseong approached and helped Baekya put the chair down.

A short while later, Namkyung left the spot after receiving Deokjin’s call. The extroverted humans, who felt restless staying still, secretly followed him out.

The four who went out empty-handed returned with both hands full, along with several staff members.

“Make way!”

Cheong entered pushing a clothes rack with six outfits hanging on it.

“Have you been watching historical dramas lately?”

“Yeah. I saw Jamong on YouTube.”

“You mean Jumong….”

Yooyeon looked at Cheong pitifully.

“Jamong, Jumong—same thing/”

“Totally different, you know?”

While the maknaes were bickering, Yulmu, carrying two large mirrors on his back, walked in leisurely.

“Where should I put these?”

“Please put them down on the floor. Thank you.”

He looked like he worked for a moving company.

They looked quite big, but Yulmu carried them lightly. Baekya, staring blankly at that sight for a moment, approached Deokjin who was just entering.

“I’ll help too.”

“It’s okay. This is all.”

Deokjin declined, saying that since three more members came to help when only Namkyung needed to come, he had nothing left to carry.

Meanwhile, Namkyung, who received name tags from the stylist, began distributing white cloths.

“Guys, take one of these each.”

The group name and members’ names were written on them. Except for groups with public recognition like AIM, Boys’ World, or Rose Day, almost all singers wore them.

“Time is almost up, let’s get ready. Deokjin, give the kids their equipment.”

Deokjin opened the aluminum case he brought. Inside were six small boxes containing the members’ in-ear monitors.

“Baekya-nim?”

“Yes! Me.”

Baekya, who was tying the string behind his waist, hurriedly accepted the equipment.

Deokjin called names one by one in order and distributed them.

At first, they’d stared at Namkyung like baby birds because they didn’t know how to put in their in-ears. But now, on their second promotion cycle, they handled it smoothly on their own.

“Uh? My wire is gone.”

Of course, not everyone was smooth. Minseong awkwardly reached behind himself, fumbling in the wrong place.

“Hyung, it’s on the floor.”

“What, who did this?”

Minseong’s in-ear monitor was abandoned. It seemed he tried to pull the wire out from inside his clothes after roughly hanging it on his shoulder, but it passed right through and fell to the floor.

‘Who did it? You did….’

Afraid someone might step on it, Baekya quickly picked it up and turned Minseong around.

“I’ll do it for you. Just stay still.”

Thus, DASE finished preparing.

“I think we should go down slowly….”

Just as Namkyung checked the time and was about to get up, a concert staff member appeared.

“Is DASE ready?”

Holding a rolled-up cue sheet in front of the wide-open waiting room, a man announced DASE’s dry rehearsal.

DASE, having finished the rehearsal early, returned to the waiting room and began preparing for the stage in earnest.

“What clothes are we wearing today?”

Baekya, who was getting makeup done, asked.

“I saw it briefly, looked like sailor uniforms?”

If it was sailor uniforms, they were clothes they had worn once on a music show.

‘Glad it’s not sushi.’

He was inwardly worried because he thought he saw shorts at a glance, but this was a relief. Baekya, secretly sweeping his chest, checked behind him through the mirror.
