[Issue] The Most Chaotic Year-End Idol Collaboration Stage Ever

Upvotes 274 / Downvotes 26 (+202)

It’s supposedly the M Corp Music Festival, so why does it look like a puppy daycare?

Today’s stars enter one by one, like they’re clocking in for school. A moment later, the teacher comes out and starts taking attendance.

“Choco~ Leo~ Mint~ Yulmu~”

The doggies playing excitedly and then taking a nap. They look like absolute angels.

The teacher steps away briefly, maybe to get snacks for when they wake up.

The classroom is left with just the puppies. But suddenly—Poof! Smoke appears, and one by one, they start turning into humans. Yul-Cho-Leo-Min, now in human form.

They’re wearing dog ear headbands and acting like they just woke up.

You can totally see they’re embarrassed to be doing this kind of acting when they don’t even know each other that well yet lol. Then the screen changes and the stage performance suddenly starts.

[Song: At 3:25 PM One Day, I Became a Human / Original: TEXT]

Choco, the Poodle-human, enters on a lift. Owner: Blast.

Leo, the Sigorjav species-human, rises from the floor. BB9’s dog. (Actually, his last name is Oh, so fans call him Oreo.)

Next is Mint, the Chihuahua-human from blue-haired Lloyd. Looks like he matched his hair color to his name.

Finally, the bright brown-haired Retriever-human, Yulmu. DASE’s dog, officially registered as a pet last year.

After the “One Day I Became a Human” intro, the main performance begins.

[Song: Waf Waf / Original: AIM]

‘Waf Waf’ is the American dog barking sound, like ‘Mung Mung’ in Korea. I guess they picked that song because they are the doggies, but whoever planned this is truly insane lol.

‘Waf Waf’ starts with Mint’s dance break.

The large dog stands out clearly among the small dogs. He dances pretty well too.

They take turns standing in the center and finish by standing in a friendly line for the ending fairy shot.

This is the most absurd and ridiculous year-end stage I’ve ever seen in my life lol.

“You’ve checked properly to make sure we didn’t miss anything, right?”

The managers had stormed the dorm early in the morning. Since Deokjin had already left for the destination a little while ago, it was Namkyung who round up the members.

“Nothing missing. We can go.”

Minseong, who had taken the passenger seat instead of Deokjin, answered as he fastened his seatbelt. Suddenly, Cheong’s urgent voice came from the back seat.

“Wait! We didn’t load the Peach!”

“What?”

Namkyung and Minseong turned around with wide eyes.

“Do Minseong, where is Baekya?”

“Didn’t he go down first? I thought he was with you, hyung…?”

Minseong asked back about Baekya’s whereabouts. His clueless answer sent Namkyung into a mental breakdown.

No one came down with Baekya!? Namkyung pulled out his phone with a pale face. Just then, a call came in from Baekya.

“Hey, you rascal, where are you?!”

— H-hyung…. I got in the wrong car, so I’m going to the new dorm with Manager Deokjin. He told me to call you quickly because you might not have left yet because of me…. I’m sorry.

Today was DASE’s moving day.

With six members, plus managers and moving company staff coming and going, the dorm was in utter chaos.

Urged to hurry, Baekya had taken his suitcase and gone down to the underground parking lot in advance. When Deokjin saw the peach trailing behind him, he loaded him into the car along with the members’ suitcases and was on his way to the new dorm.

“I was shocked thinking you were lost. Got it. See you later.”

Namkyung, who had almost left behind the most important thing, sighed in relief and ended the call.

“Did Baekdo take Deokjin hyung’s car?”

“Yeah. That little guy is somehow always the fastest.”

Namkyung breathed a sigh of relief and started the engine.

“Let’s hurry up and go too.”

* * *

“Tu-dung!”

Yulmu opened the door to the dorm, revealing his anticipation. True to the reputation of the famous apartment complex, the luxurious exterior, perfect security facilities, and the magnificent Han River view completely stole the members’ hearts.

“Wooooow~”

Six grown men stuck to the window like little kids. Namkyung chuckled, finding the sight both cute and ridiculous, while Deokjin took out his phone to capture it on camera.

“Drool is going to drip on the floor, you guys.”

At Namkyung’s playful scolding, Baekya quickly lowered his head and looked around. He looked as if he was checking to see if saliva had actually dripped onto the floor.

Instead, more gasps followed.

“Wow… the floor is marble too!”

The members’ heads turned downward in unison this time.

“C-Can we really use a place like this?”

Minseong stammered as he took in the dorm. It was a house far too excessive for a rookie group that had just passed their first year since debut.

“It is definitely a bit much.”

Namkyung explained that if the AIM members hadn’t declared their independence, they would probably have lived in the old dorm for a few more years.

“So make sure to thank them if you see them. It’s good for you guys to be close with them anyway.”

“Course!”

Cheong gave a thumbs up, telling him not to worry.

“The beds and sofa will probably arrive around the afternoon. Until then, look around the dorm and maybe decide on your rooms.”

He added that since AIM had left behind most of the furniture they used, DASE could just use it as is. He had checked it himself, but told them to let him know if they needed anything else or wanted something changed.

“Then I’m going to stop by the company with Deokjin, so you guys stay inside the house and don’t move a muscle.”

With promotions over, Namkyung warned them seriously, worried they’d sneak out.

“Okay! Go already!”

The managers left, receiving Cheong’s friendly send-off.

As soon as the sound of the door closing and the digital lock engaging was heard, DASE gathered in the center without anyone giving a signal, linked arms over shoulders, and started spinning round and round.

“The dorm is freaking good!”

Yulmu’s voice, with tension at its peak, struck Baekya’s eardrums.

Jihan, who was heading to the kitchen, was snatched by Cheong and forcibly inserted into the group, while Minseong jumped in voluntarily. Only Baekya, who had slipped away from the radar of the extroverts alone, wasn’t part of that noisy group.

‘I feel like I’m going to get trampled….’

Are they spinning tops or what?

At the rather fast spinning speed, the sunfish flinched and backed away.

‘By the way, this sofa right now is really nice too?’

Baekya settled his butt onto the sofa he had been eyeing for a while. As he poked the fluffy cushion with his finger and quietly marveled at it, Minseong, realizing belatedly that they were short a head, briefly paused the circle dance.

“Wait, why is one missing again?”

A human bloodhound.

Baekya had hoped he wouldn’t notice until they finished spinning, but Minseong had a tendency to be obsessed with the number six.

‘Have they spun about five times…?’

The leader, noticing a member’s absence, snapped his head to the side.

“W-What.”

“Oh, look at this guy? You’ve been going solo all this time?”

“Dangbaek. Get in quickly.”

At the pressure from the leader and Yulmu, Baekya got up hesitantly.

“When did I go solo… and why are we even doing this…?”

“Because it’s exciting!”

Cheong shouted.

‘Yeah. You do look excited….’

Baekya was happy too, but he still glanced at Jihan with a face asking if they really had to go this far.

As if knowing Baekya would look at him, Jihan met his eyes and shrugged. Jihan seemed to have already decided to play along with the members.

‘Fine. Let’s just spin a few times.’

However, Yulmu, Yooyeon, and Cheong were much more excited than they appeared.

In the end, Baekya collapsed onto the floor complaining of dizziness. The circle dance of hell only ended after producing two casualties.

“Baekya… am I still spinning?”

“I think I’m gonna puke…….”

Minseong and Baekya lay side by side in the living room, voicing the aftereffects.

Flap—.

Then, Cheong brought a blanket from somewhere and covered the two of them.

“If you sleep in the cold, your mouth will get crooked!”

However, because he covered their faces as well, their already poor condition worsened.

“Ugh!”

Baekya clamped his mouth shut and rolled over. Minseong grimaced, pushing the blanket down.

“Who the hell taught him that? And where did you even learn ‘your mouth will get crooked’?”

“Are you stupid? It’s all on Y-Tube.”

Cheong, squatting next to Minseong, answered with a proud face.

“Please, stop watching weird things. I beg you.”

“Course. I don’t watch weird things.”

Mr. Cheong from California claimed he didn’t watch weird things and only carefully selected popular works. He revealed that he was recently watching the legendary sitcom Low Kick series.

“Dang-geun (carrot)… are you trading used goods or what? How many times does hyung have to tell you it’s ‘Dangyeon-haji’ (Of course)….”

“Course!”

The dizziness gone, Minseong now complained of a headache. Meanwhile, Baekya, having recovered physically, pushed off the floor and staggered up.

“Cold my foot. It’s practically a sauna in here.”

Trapped between heated marble floors and a microfiber blanket, Baekya had nearly been steamed alive.

“Zombie Hamster is up! You get up quickly, too.”

Cheong slapped Minseong’s forehead and ran to Baekya’s side.

“Baekya, share a room with me! Let’s make our room over there.”

“No.”

“Why? It’s good if you room with me. I’ll treat you well.”

Since no one was in the living room, Baekya wondered where they were and what they were doing; it turned out they were choosing rooms.

Speaking of DASE’s new dorm, Sky Castle, it had four bedrooms, two dressing rooms, and three bathrooms. Perhaps due to its excellent location embracing the Han River and Seoul Forest, the living room and kitchen were spacious, making it a house that went all-in on the view.

“Jihan said two people can have single rooms! But Baekya is scared of ghosts, so I will save you.”

Cheong tempted Baekya, saying that a scready-cat, spice weakling, and an alcohol lightweight would be in big trouble if he used a room alone. However, after taking three hits in a row, Baekya just stared back, thoroughly unimpressed.
