The Unbelievers Chapter 74
Yoo Siun, who faced Eunseong stark naked while dripping wet, soon turned around as if it were nothing. The muscles of his thighs, buttocks, and back, tempered over a long time, writhed in unison.
He opened a drawer, pulled out underwear, slid his feet in one by one, and pulled them up, covering the mound of flesh. Having quickly put on a shirt and trousers as well, he asked Eunseong.
“Do you have something to say?”
His voice was no different from usual. Eunseong, who had frozen as if in shock, shook his head as if snapping back to his senses and spoke.
“I, I was hungry. I couldn’t even eat dinner. I thought we could, with Mister, together, eat….”
“Shall we? I happened to be feeling a bit peckish myself. Do you want to go out first?”
“Yes? Yes.”
Eunseong, who had been standing as if his soul had left him, lost strength in his legs and staggered slightly, then used the wall for support and fled the room as if escaping.
“….”
Only after that figure had completely disappeared did Yoo Siun let out a harsh, held breath.
He braced his hands against the wardrobe to catch his dizzying senses.
Now, it truly couldn’t be helped. If Eunseong had taken just a few more steps, if he had approached right in front of him, there was no guaranteeing what he might have done.
He might have thrown Eunseong down on this floor, pounced on top of him like a beast, and torn Eunseong’s clothes to shreds without hesitation while searching for the place where the mark would be. Wherever that place was, Yoo Siun would have pressed his lips to it and greedily sucked the boy’s flesh. Gripping him so painfully that a scream would break out.
His heart throbbed at the raw premonition that flashed through his mind in that moment.
Eunseong was not in his right mind either. He fled into the kitchen and stood before the sink, turning on the faucet for no reason even though there was nothing to wash. A stream of water poured down into the sink bowl. He shook his head to try and avoid recalling the naked body that had occupied his vision, but it was in vain.
His face turned bright red. Only then could he feel the thumping beat of his heart.
Yoo Siun’s naked state was wild, resembling a large wolf. Yoo Siun’s body was not the shabby and pathetic imagination he had held until now, but a reality overflowing with a sense of truth.
While Eunseong stood there dazed and not knowing what to do, Yoo Siun approached. Yoo Siun turned off the faucet that was running pointlessly. The sound of the water pouring noisily vanished, and silence enveloped the surroundings.
Eunseong spoke awkwardly without even looking at him.
“Do you know how to cook? I do know how to make a few things.”
“What do you know how to make?”
“Just everything. I know how to boil seaweed soup, I can boil soybean paste stew, and I can make omurice.”
“Then shall we make omurice?”
His voice was calm, just as it always was. He did not seem like someone who had been caught naked.
Yoo Siun opened the refrigerator and took out ingredients. Eunseong also forced his racing heart to calm down and moved while pretending everything was normal.
They stood side by side at the counter, prepping onions and potatoes.
“I’m not sure where the meat is. Do you want to put something else in?”
“What is there?”
“There’s canned tuna; shall we use that?”
“Yes, that’s good. I think it will be delicious if we use that.”
Opening a drawer somewhere, Yoo Siun pulled out a can of tuna and set it on the counter. The two of them silently peeled the potatoes and onions assigned to each of them. While Yoo Siun chopped the potatoes finely, Eunseong found eggs in the refrigerator and brought them over. He cracked the eggs into a bowl.
Yoo Siun, catching a glimpse of him skillfully mixing the eggs with chopsticks to ensure they were well-blended, asked with a satisfied smile.
“Did you cook for yourself often?”
“I like cooking. Since what my dad made tasted bad, I just made things myself. My dad couldn’t cook and couldn’t even boil ramen well.”
“….”
“By any chance, did you get in touch with my dad?”
“… No. Not yet. I’m looking for him.”
“He’s probably off somewhere drinking his head off again.”
“….”
“Please slice those onions too.”
Yoo Siun had finished cutting the potatoes before he knew it. This time, Eunseong handed him the onions.
In that one space, their hands brushed several times while looking for tools and ingredients. Every time, Eunseong flinched and checked his reaction. This was a man who had always kept his distance to a degree that felt awkward to Eunseong.
Pretending not to notice, Yoo Siun finished slicing the onions, moved the prepared ingredients to the frying pan, and washed his hands. His path as he turned to find olive oil coincided with Eunseong’s as he approached holding the beaten egg wash.
“….”
“….”
At the same time Yoo Siun stepped aside, Eunseong also flinched and moved in that direction. After awkwardly exchanging glances, as he moved to the opposite side this time, Eunseong—trying to avoid him quickly—happened to block his way again.
The more he tried to avoid him, the more they became entangled. Standing still like that, Yoo Siun gazed down at Eunseong. Eunseong, who had been hesitating and trying to step aside, lifted his head toward the man standing still.
Something heavier than a sense of responsibility, as if acknowledging or trying to endure something, was settled in his eyes.
“This… . The egg wash.”
He held out the bowl in his hand toward him. Yoo Siun did not seem interested in taking it. Rather, like a person to whom such things were invisible, he was staring only at Eunseong’s face.
The winter night had deepened and was longer than ever.
Eunseong, as if possessed by something, approached him while still holding the bowl and lifted his toes. He pressed his lips crudely against Yoo Siun’s lips and rubbed them slightly.
Clear skin where body heat could be felt touched Yoo Siun’s lips and then pulled away. Eunseong lowered the heels he had raised on tiptoe and looked up at him. There was no change in Yoo Siun’s expression. However, he was not as cold as before.
“… You should have just not found me. You should have just let me live like that.”
“….”
“Mister, you made a mistake. I’m going to keep being like this.”
“….”
“I’ll kiss you whenever I see an opening, I’ll cling to you whenever I see an opening, the things you hate, gasp!”
In an instant, hot lips and an unbearable weight pounced on Eunseong. As if he had wanted to hold him this breathtakingly, two arms lunged and wrapped around Eunseong’s waist and back.
The egg wash that had been held in Eunseong’s hand spilled onto the floor. His lips overlapped painfully with Eunseong’s lips. It was the movement of a wolf, almost as if he were biting. The tongue that had been greedily swallowing while rubbing with hot flesh parted the trembling lips and forced his mouth open. A damp lump of flesh entered his mouth and sucked the inside as if devouring Eunseong.
“Mmm… hngh, mmph!”
Eunseong’s hands fumbled over his back before firmly grasping his clothes. The sensation of his tongue and lips being sucked sharply evaporated his reason. He couldn’t tell if he was standing straight, if he was even standing on two legs, or if he was simply being held up by him. Eunseong tightly clutched the clothes of Yoo Siun—who was kissing him deeply like a man who had lost his mind—within the two arms that held him in a constricting embrace.
Every bit of flesh touching his lips was simply hot. An agonizing groan scattered breathlessly between the overlapping lips of Yoo Siun and Eunseong. From the chests that were pressed tightly together without a single gap, a particularly powerful throb was transmitted through the skin.
This was not a dawn dream dreamt with absurd content. This was not a daydream had alone while blushing. The strong, thick chest and the solid two arms undoubtedly belonged to Yoo Siun, and the lips, and the damp, hot tongue that dug into him as if rummaging through him, were entirely different from dreams or daydreams. It was a sensation so realistic it felt unfamiliar and frightening. At the same time, it was sharply edged and incomparably more primal than what he had only imagined.
The breath that had been panting urgently subsided, and Yoo Siun’s lips gently gnawed and bit at Eunseong.
Eunseong groaned and rubbed his lips against him. Struggling to touch him even a little more, he wrapped his hands around the man’s back.
In an instant, his body was hoisted up. Yoo Siun lifted Eunseong lightly. He felt no weight, almost like a feather. He sat Eunseong on the counter and spread his legs. He pressed his body close as if invading that space. Yoo Siun tilted Eunseong’s head up and continued the deep kiss.
“Hngh, mmgh, mmph.”
The strength of the two arms that had been tightening around Eunseong to a breathtaking degree loosened, and the sensation that had been tickling his lips and tongue gradually moved away.
Eunseong opened his blurred eyes. Yoo Siun’s face, looking at him as if yearning, his lips and nose, and his endless eyes were right in front of him. His lips were glistening, wet with saliva.
“… Haah, haah.”
“….”
Eunseong panted so hard his chest heaved. Yoo Siun, who had been digging in so hungrily, was now as quiet in his breathing as his eyes were. As if the movements that had rummaged so roughly and the lips that had bitten and gnawed were a lie.
Eunseong’s lips were quivering, and his hands were also trembling as if he had just released a surge of intense strength. Eunseong touched the solid shoulders and cupped Yoo Siun’s cheek with a warm palm.
“… If you do this kind of thing, aren’t you trash now?”
“….”
Struggling to steady his choking throat, Eunseong whispered. Yoo Siun seemed dazed in some way. He had eyes that seemed not to hear Eunseong’s pitiful warning at all.
Then, Yoo Siun’s voice broke out, harshly cracked.
“I am trash.”
He lifted his head and overlapped their lips again. Eunseong’s eyes squeezed shut. Two arms wrapped around his neck as if strangling him, hanging on with his full weight.
Because he knew all too well that he shouldn’t do this, Yoo Siun swallowed a sorrowful groan along with the soft lips that tasted sweet and the moistly wet tongue that he swallowed deep into his throat.
