Earth-001 (1)

  1. The prerequisite conditions have been fulfilled faster than expected, and at last, the Final Chapter has opened. If you survive this Final Chapter, you will earn the qualification to possess an entire ‘dimension’ for yourselves.
  2. In one month, all Gates that currently exist on Earth-104 will disappear.
  3. In one month, in place of the vanished Gates, one Main (M) Gate connected to Earth-001 will appear in the capital of each nation.
  4. In one month, no additional Gates will be generated on Earth-104.
  5. In one month, a mana force field will envelop the entire Earth, and most of the scientific civilization that existed on Earth will turn to dust.
  6. In one month, everyone on Earth-104 will be able to use the Main Gates to cross over to Earth-001.
  7. On Earth-001, not only can you obtain large quantities of high-quality magic crystals, but also ‘Soul Stones,’ which can neutralize the effects of the force field.
  8. The technology to produce an ‘Anti–Force Field Generator,’ which can erase the mana force field effect in a certain area using Soul Stones, will be released to the community.
  9. Those who enter Earth-001 through the Main Gates must obtain an item called a Return Stone on Earth-001 to return to Earth-104. However, the return point will always be fixed to the same Main Gate through which they originally entered.
  10. The mana density of Earth-001 is completely different from that of Earth-104. Therefore, even if someone is a magic user, anyone originating from Earth-104 cannot endure more than four months on Earth-001.
  11. Once the phenomenon of mana intoxication begins after four months, various problems will occur in the body, eventually leading to death.
  12. Therefore, before becoming addicted to mana, one must periodically return to Earth-104 and calmly lower the mana concentration within one’s body.
  13. Animals and plants exposed to the mana force field may undergo mutation and become monsters.
  14. The effect of the mana force field will continue to grow stronger as time passes.
  15. If the effect of the mana force field is not continuously neutralized with Soul Stones, its power will keep increasing. Once it surpasses a certain threshold, Earth-104 will be absorbed into Earth-001 and will disappear forever.
  16. Earth-001 is the original Earth and the source of all mana. The civilization there is completely different from the scientific civilization you have built, yet in some ways it is even more advanced. Moreover, there are numerous ‘races’ with advanced intelligence, just like yours. They may be intelligent beings that originally existed on Earth-001, or they may be intelligent beings who came from other dimensions after undergoing a process similar to yours. You may cooperate with them, or you may oppose them. Everything will change depending on your actions and choices.
  17. From this moment onward, you must explore Earth-001 and protect Earth-104. Earth-001 will not only be an unknown land but also an extremely dangerous place for you. Survival there will not be easy… but in any case, survive and return to Earth-104 with clear results.

The community contained no fewer than seventeen notices.

And the contents were… truly shocking.

“Earth-001? And what… the entire Earth will be covered in a mana force field?”

“Does that mean our Earth being called 104 means it’s the 104th Earth or something?”

Seon Yul and Cheon Li Yu were also staring at the notice in shock.

Naturally, countless posts were being uploaded to the community. Moreover, since the contents of the community notice were also revealed in real time to ordinary people, the entire world erupted into chaos.

No one even mentioned the disappearance of the Gates on Earth.

Right now, there were far too many more important matters to care about than that.

“Let’s organize this first.”

After reading the notice over and over, Seon Yul began discussing it with Cheon Li Yu.

“So basically, in one month, the world we live in will be connected to another world that’s similar but completely different?”

“And that world is probably a highly developed world of mana civilization.”

Cheon Li Yu nodded as she replied.

“We’ll have to go there, gather materials that can protect this world, and come back.”

“And we can’t even live there permanently. We’ll have to come back periodically to rest.”

The two of them exchanged remarks as they organized the notice.

“Wow, this means… if we want to protect Earth-104, the Earth we live on, we basically have to become explorers and pioneer Earth-001.”

“From now on, fighting among ourselves in this world seems meaningless. This isn’t the problem of one country… It’s something that involves the entire Earth… I feel like some kind of alliance that transcends the concept of nations will appear.”

Even now, something called the World Gate Management Bureau already existed.

However, no one truly considered it a global alliance.

There were too many internal frictions and too many conflicts of interest between countries for them to ever truly become one.

But now everything had changed.

It wasn’t that they couldn’t unite.

They had to unite.

“An alliance will definitely appear. But… I don’t know if the world can really become one.”

Seon Yul was extremely skeptical about the idea of the entire world uniting.

“Do you think it won’t happen?”

“On the surface… maybe. But everyone’s intentions will be different. In the end, they’ll all try to install those Soul Stones in their own countries first. And maybe the price of magic crystals will rise even more.”

From one month later onward, magic crystals would have to be obtained from Earth-001 through the Gates.

Because of that, their price could fluctuate drastically.

They might become more expensive… or cheaper.

That could only be determined after Earth-001 opened.

‘At least it’s a good thing I stockpiled so many.’

Currently, the amount of magic crystals Seon Yul had stored was:

7 top-grade magic crystals,

11 high-grade magic crystals,

and 2,700 kg of mid-grade magic crystals.

In addition, Cheon Li Yu also possessed a considerable amount of magic crystals, so there was no immediate concern about running out.

“Whew… this really is a great upheaval.”

“It is. Just as massive as when Gates first appeared and monsters began pouring out in the past… an enormous upheaval.”

“Then what should we do from now on?”

Looking at Seon Yul, Cheon Li Yu asked the most important question.

After hearing it, Seon Yul fell into thought.

Then he slowly nodded and spoke.

“We… will have quite a lot to do.”

“What? Should we hunt more monsters before the Gates disappear from this world?”

“No. That’s not important.”

“Then what is?”

“We should gather as many things as possible that might disappear in one month.”

What Seon Yul wanted to gather as much as possible was…

‘Everything that exists in this world but will turn to dust and disappear in one month… I need to register them all in my All-Purpose Tool Shop!’

Seon Yul believed his Absolute Space had to become an ark.

Even if he couldn’t store everything inside Absolute Space immediately, if he at least registered them in the All-Purpose Tool Shop, he believed he could retrieve them someday.

Bringing them back out of Absolute Space later would be another issue… but that wasn’t something he needed to worry about right now.

Right now, the correct move was simply to register as many things as possible in the All-Purpose Tool Shop.

The reason Seon Yul thought his Absolute Space should become an ark was not due to some grand sense of mission.

Seon Yul’s power itself reached its maximum potential when scientific civilization and magical civilization were exquisitely combined.

Because of that, he could not allow scientific civilization to disappear like this.

So he began sweeping up everything he could save or preserve.

Through her Divine Eye, Cheon Li Yu located everything Seon Yul was searching for.

Seon Yul then secretly approached those items and stored them in Absolute Space by whatever means necessary.

As always, when Divine Eye and Absolute Space were combined, there was nowhere they could not infiltrate.

Thus, Seon Yul traveled not only across the United States, but also Japan, China, and Europe…

He went around nearly every nation, collecting scientific technologies that might disappear.

Technologies that could be used as weapons became the number one priority.

And gradually, Absolute Space was turning into the Ark of the scientific civilization that had flourished on Earth.

[Yes, you’ll probably have the best chance of obtaining that from NASA in the United States.]

Seon Yul continued speaking with Cha Seong Hyeon, obtaining information about numerous advanced technologies through him.

Cha Seong Hyeon never asked why Seon Yul was suddenly inquiring about such things.

Instead, he simply helped him as much as possible within the limits of his knowledge.

In a situation where a massive upheaval had already been foretold, AbsoluteSafetyFirst was the most important figure imaginable for the Korean Gate Management Bureau.

So if Seon Yul made a request, they had no choice but to fulfill it, no matter what it was.

“I’ve already visited NASA once… but are there any secret research facilities belonging to NASA?”

[Hmm, I’ll try to find out about that separately.]

“Yes, please.”

The scientific technology Seon Yul had been particularly busy collecting recently was aerospace technology.

Whenever he had spare time, he repeatedly read the notice posted in the community, checking whether he had overlooked anything.

While doing so, he noticed the phrase stating that a mana force field would cover the entire Earth, and he began wondering exactly how far ‘the entire Earth’ extended.

In particular, he wondered whether the artificial satellites humanity had launched into space would fall within the range of the force field.

No matter how he thought about it, Seon Yul felt that satellites would not fall within the range of the force field.

Which meant…

In the domain of outer space, mana might not have any influence.

And if that were the case, aerospace technology could become something like a loophole in the system.

That was why Seon Yul had recently been focusing heavily on gathering aerospace-related technologies.

Seon Yul’s Absolute Space ability itself had the potential to cause numerous bugs if compared to a game system.

So he directed his thinking toward exploiting those possibilities as much as possible.

He didn’t know how many of the things he prepared would actually be usable once they crossed over to Earth-001.

But Seon Yul still prepared diligently.

Like ants or squirrels storing food in preparation for a harsh winter.

Preparing for the great upheaval that would soon arrive, Seon Yul began storing countless things inside Absolute Space.

He even expanded the size of Absolute Space as much as possible, storing what he could personally store and registering the rest in the All-Purpose Shop.

Inside Absolute Space, he preserved countless elements of scientific civilization that humanity had accumulated over a long period of time.

One month later.

At last, the moment spoken of by the system arrived.

During that month, humanity prepared for the coming upheaval in its own ways.

Some people hunted monsters by clearing Gates that would soon disappear, gathering spoils.

Others researched methods to preserve things that would vanish after one month.

At the national level in particular, countries began mass-producing and rapidly deploying the ‘Artificial Mana Ability System,’ which had been nearing completion.

Most countries researching the artificial mana system had already achieved over 90% completion, so mass production was not particularly difficult.

In particular, they focused all their efforts on constructing systems that would allow the artificial mana ability system to continue being produced even after the mana force field covered Earth.

The United States, China, Korea, Japan, Europe, and most other developed nations made this their top priority and concentrated all their strength on it.

And in reality, most of them succeeded in completing their systems.

Korea had also built a system on Jeju Island capable of mass-producing the ‘K White Tiger, ’ the completed product of Project R.

K White Tiger could be described as an artificial mana exoskeleton.

At its core was the ‘Artificial Mana Power Generator’ installed near the heart.

The Artificial Mana Power Generator extracted high-quality mana from inserted magic crystals and injected that mana into the exoskeleton of the K White Tiger.

Through that injected mana, the exoskeleton could exert tremendous power.

In the United States, they inserted something nearly identical to the Artificial Mana Power Generator… called a ‘Mana Heart’, directly into the human body.

Through several additional procedures, they created enhanced humans, which they called M-Type.

America’s M-Type (enhanced humans) and Korea’s K White Tiger (exoskeleton) were very similar systems in that they both used something comparable to an engine that artificially generated mana to serve as a power source.

However, in reality, their advantages and disadvantages were opposite.

It was difficult to say which was better.

But one thing was certain:

Both nations had almost perfected artificial mana ability systems.

And so every nation completed its preparations.

Seon Yul also finished every preparation he could possibly make.

Now the only thing left was…

To face the great upheaval.
