My brother must have been feeling good too, because he relaxed comfortably and floated around inside the cauldron like a well-boiled jelly octopus.

“Get out on your own. I’m not taking responsibility if you stay in there and get cooked.”

Seeing me and my brother all mushy and relaxed, Cha Haeeon said primly before walking out.

“Wouldn’t I melt rather than get cooked?”

I wouldn’t know for sure since I haven’t melted before, though.

“Ah, this is nice.”

I narrowed my eyes as I warmed my body in the hot water.

So nice.

It’s warm and relaxing and so good, but.

Was it okay for me to enjoy something like this all by myself?

I feel guilty.

Especially since my comrades are undergoing extreme training, washing with cold water in the winter.

While I was unable to hide my pity thinking of Cha Haeeon and Captain Gong Juwon, my thoughts landed on a certain item.

The very item that the Scavengers had been cherishing so deeply.

The one with a round body and a handle attached to it…….

None other than an alien gun!

No, wait.

It was definitely the item ‘Energy Injector’….

The Energy Injector is a repair item from <Squishy Squishy! Planetmon!>.

It doesn’t fix broken things, but rather, it’s an item that uses alien energy to force them to operate.

But why on earth were the Scavengers cherishing an item that was utterly useless unless you were an alien?

Just as Cha Haeeon can’t fly my spaceship even if he takes it, alien civilization items can only be used by aliens.

‘Hmm.’

I tilted my head.

‘I don’t know.’

Maybe they just did it because it looked like it was worth a lot of money, whatever.

More importantly, a good idea was hovering on the edge of my mind….

For now, I fully immersed my body in the water that Cha Hae-eon had prepared so diligently, and used Oppa like a shower towel to scrub myself squeaky clean. Oppa rubbed my back where my hands couldn’t reach.

After washing my body completely in the warm water and even wiping my brother’s bald head, having become a squeaky-clean jelly, I heaved myself out of the pot.

Then, wrapping a towel around my body, I walked out, going pyok pyok pyok

Brrr—

‘It’s cold!’

As I gripped the wet towel tightly, the chill seeped in.

“Clothes. I need warm clothes…”

My brother, who was perched on top of my head, hugged me tight to keep me warm.

After patting my brother, I opened my survival handbook and glared at the coins. I’m earning them smoothly, so isn’t it okay to spend a little?

The reason I was hesitating was none other than this.

The market sells ‘skins’.

Not just human skin, but proper clothes that aliens can wear!

When I opened the market, a familiar window popped up.

I clicked on skins without hesitation.

Human skin still occupied the most expensive spot at the very end.

[Human Skin: 1,000,000cc]

[Cosmic Coin Balance: 3,170cc]

It seems green onions were sold in the meantime, as the amount went up a little.

Still…

‘Let’s just spend a little bit……’

Thinking about how I have to save a million coins naturally made me humble.

I scrolled to the cheapest section.

‘This is it.’

* * *

Wearing a hoodie and furry shoes, I toddled—no, waddled.

After going around completely naked, putting something on felt a bit uncomfortable.

‘But it’s warm. And it doesn’t make a squeaking sound when I walk.’

I toddled over to show off my new clothes to Cha Haeeon. Cha Haeeon, who happened to be coming out to the veranda, spotted me.

“Cha Haeeon, Cha Haeeon. How do I look?”

“What is that? Dog clothes?”

“Dog clothes suit you well too, Jelly-nim.”

The bad guys slandered my clothes.

I narrowed my eyes into triangles and clenched my fists. Someday, when I buy human skin, they won’t be able to say such things.

Fuming with anger, I pulled the hood over my head and left the veranda.

“Where are you going?”

“The storage room!”

Looking around the dusty storage room, I tilted my head in front of a drum barrel.

‘This should do, right?’

While I was straining and grunting to roll the drum cylinder, my brother, who had jumped down from the top of my head, fixed his gaze somewhere.

Meanwhile, I rolled the drum barrel round and round and took it outside. In the yard, Captain Gong Juwon and Cha Haeeon were peeking around.

They must have been curious about what I was doing.

I tapped the drum barrel and asked the two of them.

“This looks similar to a water heater, right?”

“Does it?”

“Not at all.”

I ignored their words.

“I’ll try turning it into a water heater.”

‘Decorate!’

As I opened ‘Decorate’ while thinking of a water heater, examples appeared below.

It was in the form of a faucet and a hose attached to a drum barrel, and the fancier the pattern on the drum barrel, the more coins it cost.

‘Patterns are a luxury.’

I chose the most basic one. Even so, it cost a whopping 500cc.

‘I guess I have no choice…. Since this isn’t just decorating the exterior.’

‘Decorate’ might look like a simple ability to decorate items, but strictly speaking, it’s the power to ‘redesign’.

As long as I had roughly similar materials, I could make pretty much any machine from Earth’s civilization.

This was possible because even the most complex machines are incredibly simple items in alien civilization.

Until now, I hadn’t used it for anything other than plant stakes because there was no energy source, but now I could inject an energy source, right?

Laughing like a demon, I held the Energy Injector, which looked like an alien gun, in my hand.

Normally, it would be impossible, but with this……!

Piyong!

The Energy Injector made a cute sound and fired a beam at the drum barrel.

Then, a crackling sound of electricity flowing came from the drum barrel.

“Now, watch closely.”

I connected the hose to the yard faucet and turned on the faucet on the drum barrel. Before long, steaming warm water began to pour out.

“Touch it.”

“Wow… it’s really warm…”

Captain Gong Juwon, having touched the water, widened his eyes.

At his reaction, I said smugly.

“Now you can shower with warm water.”

“How on earth did you do this?”

“There’s a technology unique to aliens that Earthlings don’t know about.”

“Wow…! That’s amazing!”

“More, more! You can praise me more!”

“You are amazing! You are a Jelly God!”

Ahahaha! Excited, I spun round and round. It’s great to be an alien, I’m happy to be praised~

“You guys sure are having fun.”

Cha Haeeon tried to throw cold water on it as usual, but he couldn’t dampen my excited heart.

I let it slide partly because he had made a hot spring for me in the morning.

It was then.

[You have resolved a worry of a native Earth species and gained affinity.]

[Reward]

– Cosmic Coin +5,000

Ehh?!

Is it this?

The thing where you resolve a worry of an NPC (an AI character in a game) and get a reward?

Like other games, <Squishy Squishy! Planetmon!> also had a system where you listen to NPCs’ worries and get rewards.

But since there are no NPCs here, I thought I wouldn’t be able to get such rewards…….

Does that mean Cha Haeeon and Captain Gong Juwon are treated as NPCs by the system?

In other words, it means the two of them have become somewhat important characters in my worldview.

But the reward is quite generous, isn’t it?

My eyes sparkled.

Just what on earth was the worry? Was it something like ‘It’s cold and I don’t want to wash with cold water’?

I opened my survival handbook to check.

Cha Haeeon’s Worry Checklist

– The jelly doesn’t wash (Complete)

This was his worry?!
