<Episode 56>

Time passed quickly, and it became the day Spade Joker members returned to Korea.

Because of what happened last time, security was tightened even more than during departure. Even so, somehow, many fans gathered at the airport.

“Guys! Look over here!”

“A letter! Please take the letter!”

“Spade Joker!”

The members were flustered by the unexpected situation.

“Clover, please step back! Please! This is dangerous!”

The security guards tried hard to calm the excited Clover.

“Guys!”

Clover waved energetically at the members.

“Everyone!”

Leader Cain spoke up.

“Yes!”

“Please maintain order as much as possible! This isn’t a place just for us… There are other people departing and arriving today too, so please line up. Don’t push. We’ll take time to greet you outside, in front of the car.”

“Okay! Don’t push! Listen to them!”

“Line up! Hey, don’t come out there. Let’s keep order.”

Cain’s one sentence was more effective than a hundred from the guards.

Clover voluntarily began organizing itself, and order was quickly restored.

The guard nodded slightly to Cain in thanks. Cain simply smiled back.

After quickly leaving the airport, the members headed to a quiet corner of the parking lot.

“Don’t block cars passing by, so don’t move from here, okay? It’ll be dangerous if an accident happens.”

“Yes!”

Clover responded like kindergartners.

“But how did you know we were arriving today?”

Leejoo asked curiously.

“We saw photos of you at the airport!”

“Our photos? But foreigners wouldn’t recognize us…”

“Koreans are traveling there, you know.”

At that, Iju realized it and let out a small “Ah!” with an awkward smile.

“So cute.”

“It’s okay. That happens.”

Clover quickly took out their cameras and captured Leejoo’s reaction.

“How was your first time abroad?”

“It was fun.”

“That’s good.”

They felt relieved seeing that Spade Joker seemed to have enjoyed their filming.

“So you all saw photos of us boarding and came all the way here to wait?”

“Yes!”

“Don’t do that next time. It’s tiring.”

“We’re not tired at all.”

Clover replied instantly to Sera.

“Everyone, go home safely, too, okay?”

“Don’t worry! We’ll get home safely. It’s still early morning anyway.”

Since they had taken a dawn flight, it was currently 7 a.m.

“Aren’t you tired?”

Clover asked with concern.

“We slept on the plane, so we’re okay.”

Heeseo smiled as she said that.

“Are you going straight to the dorm now?”

“We’re stopping by the company first.”

“Why the company?”

“We bought gifts for the staff. It’s nothing big, though. Ah, we didn’t prepare gifts for Clover. Sorry.”

While chatting excitedly, Leejoo realized and apologized.

“We’re okay! Seeing your faces is already a gift.”

Clover answered even more cheerfully on purpose.

“That’s right.”

“We don’t want anything.”

“Next time, we’ll definitely bring gifts.”

Zen said while sticking out a pinky, and Clover cheered and clapped.

“That’s a promise?”

“Of course.”

Because of Kim Yerin, the comeback preparation schedule became even tighter.

‘Ha… that cleanup took too much time.’

As a result, even before work hours, I had to come to the office to handle tasks.

‘Come to think of it, Spade Joker should have arrived in Korea by now.’

I picked up my phone to check.

[Fans were at the airport, but everything passed without issues.]

I was startled by the message from their manager.

‘How did they even find out?’

We had put a lot of effort into hiding flight details, so it made no sense.

‘It’s not like they camped at the airport.’

To understand the situation, I checked SNS instead of calling, thinking the manager would need rest after traveling.

[A family trip, came to the airport to return to Korea, and saw Spade Joker. It’s not even Korea, but I saw celebrities by chance. So fascinating. (Photo of Spade Joker.)]

↳ Looks like they’re heading back to Korea now.

↳ The reality show filming must be done.

↳ I was worried after what happened, but they seem fine, so I’m relieved.

[If they’re boarding now, they’ll arrive tomorrow morning.]

↳ Seems like they took this flight. (Flight schedule photo.)

↳ How do you know?

↳ Look at the direction they went. That’s Gate A, and there’s only one Korea-bound flight there.

↳ There aren’t many dawn flights anyway, so it’s easy to guess.

↳ Isn’t it wrong to post this kind of photo? The company didn’t disclose it…

I had completely overlooked SNS.

‘Right. Fans’ tracking skills are basically at a private detective level. How did I forget that?’

Thankfully, I had arranged security… otherwise, it could’ve been a disaster.

[The moment the members said not to push and that they’d take time in the parking lot, everyone suddenly listened like they were hypnotized. But honestly, we should’ve kept order from the start. We represent the members… if we mess up, Spade Joker gets criticized.]

↳ LOL, seriously, like mass hypnosis. Suddenly, everyone moved like they were possessed.

↳ I was annoyed from being pushed, but suddenly it got calm.

↳ The security guards must’ve been shocked.

↳ It’s funny because it ended well, but honestly, tracking flights and going to the airport without official info is wrong.

↳ I agree. Some of us didn’t go even though we wanted to, out of consideration…

It seemed those who ignored the guards obeyed the members immediately.

‘Good job.’

If things hadn’t been controlled, there would’ve been backlash. Especially now, they had to be extra careful.

[Honestly, they could’ve been uncomfortable or upset that fans showed up unannounced, but they treated us so kindly. Told us to go home safely, waved, and accepted letters. (Photo at parking lot.)]

↳ Still, tracking flights feels a bit off… there’s a reason the company didn’t disclose it.

↳ Especially after what just happened… it feels like creating unnecessary trouble.

↳ Yeah. Let’s not do that next time. We want to see them, but we should respect boundaries.

↳ Seriously… otherwise we just look like stalkers.

‘There’s some internal conflict in the fandom… but it’ll settle quickly.’

From experience, once they come back, everything will unify again.

“Good morning.”

Han Suseok’s voice came from outside. It was already work hours.

Knock knock.

“Yes.”

The office door opened, and Han Suseok entered.

“Director, you’re already here?”

“Yeah, had some work.”

“Shall I get you coffee?”

“I’d appreciate it.”

“I’ll prepare it right away.”

He left to get coffee.

After closing SNS, I placed my phone face down on the desk.

“Good morning.”

“Hello.”

Other employees began arriving.

Knock knock.

“Director, I brought your coffee.”

Han Suseok set it on the desk.

“No special schedule today, right?”

“No.”

“Good. Oh, and look into how Kim Yerin is doing.”

“Why her?”

“Before she does something reckless out of desperation, I want to leave her a way out. If she’s cornered too much, she might do something extreme.”

“Understood.”

He left.

‘Alright, back to work.’

As I picked up the music video storyboard, the outside grew noisy.

“Huh? What brings you here?”

“Aren’t you tired?”

“We came to give out gifts.”

Amid the noise, I thought I heard Spade Joker’s voice.

‘No way they’re actually here.’

Still, just in case, I stood up.

“Is the director in his office?”

“Yes.”

The moment I heard their voices clearly, I became certain…

Spade Joker had arrived.
