Hazardous Concentration Chapter 18
Assemblyman Jung subtly tried to appeal to Yeo Taejun that his daughter had feelings for him, but it was useless. Just as he sipped the liquor, thinking his daughter would be quite heartbroken, Assemblyman Jung’s eyes widened slightly.
“The liquor here is good.”
“It is indeed.”
The initial taste was fragrant, and the finish was slightly sweet. It was the kind of taste that made you want to keep drinking. At the same time, Yeo Taejun was reminded of another taste he kept wanting to savor. Even though it had barely been a taste—more of a trial—the moment the sweet and fragrant scent of skin came to mind, his teeth began to itch.
As soon as he was far enough from the room, Eunhoo’s knees gave out, and he collapsed onto the floor as if sliding down.
“Ah, Mr. Eunhoo.”
A server he knew tried to greet him, but Eunhoo buried his face deep between his knees as if he couldn’t hear.
His mind was still dazed, as if he were dreaming. He never imagined he would run into Yeo Taejun here. Of all things, it had to be today, the day he was assigned as a one-day server, and he had to be the person in charge of the room Yeo Taejun reserved.
Eunhoo lifted his head and ruffled his hair wildly.
“…Gasp! Mr. Eunhoo, what’s wrong?”
But Eunhoo was in no state to respond.
Yeo Taejun.
It had been a few years. Of course, they weren’t exactly close; he was just his classmate’s older brother. Had he even faced him five or six times? And each time, they had passed by in about five minutes or less. But that short time remained vivid in Eunhoo’s memory. That was why it felt truly unbelievable when he faced him in the club room.
To cut to the chase, the worst-case scenario did not happen that day.
‘Wait, ugh!’
Eunhoo, who had been frozen stiff, surprised by what was happening, began to squirm as the man started to fumble with his bare skin.
‘Just stay still. I said I’d give you a good fucking as you wanted.’
Even at a glance, his pupils were hazy, showing he was thoroughly drunk. Eunhoo was too shocked to do anything, but Yeo Taejun was unhesitant, as if this situation were natural to him. He grabbed the buttons of Eunhoo’s shirt with a strong grip and ripped them off. He didn’t seem to use much force, but the buttons fell off easily. While he hesitated, his bare skin was exposed to the air. The cool breeze from the air conditioner brushed against his skin. He felt goosebumps rise around his nipples.
The man, who had crushed his nipple with his fingertips, asked, ‘The color is pretty.’
Eunhoo’s nipples were somewhere between pink and red. Because his skin was pale, the red color stood out unusually well.
‘And the nipples are quite big, too.’
Under the dim lighting, Eunhoo’s face burned red. Having large nipples was one of Eunhoo’s complexes. He was always conscious of it whenever he got dressed, so he always wore an inner shirt when wearing tight clothing to cover them. But that day, the clothes weren’t even tight, and because it was hot, he had worn it over bare skin. But of all things….
His breath brushed against his skin. As Eunhoo trembled, goosebumps rising along his neck, he heard laughter.
‘Even sensitive.’
The man grabbed and twisted Eunhoo’s nipple without mercy. At the goosebump-inducing sensation, Eunhoo scratched the smooth sofa with his fingernails.
‘Hiiik!’
To Eunhoo, who had even stopped resisting out of shock, the man whispered in a relaxed tone, ‘It feels like I’m finally getting a good fuck.’
Eunhoo was horrified. From the mouth that seemed like it would only pour out elegant words, cheap profanities he had never heard before in his life were spilling out.
‘Th-there, you have mistaken me for someone else. I am….’
Whether he cared or not, Yeo Taejun pressed his lips to Eunhoo’s chest and sucked. Eunhoo’s body jerked.
‘Uhng, ugh!’
He was staring with blurred eyes at the black head of hair cast before him when—click—his belt was undone. That moment, his mind snapped back to reality.
Eunhoo resisted with all his might.
‘I-I hate this!’
No!
He didn’t care about the top, but the bottom was absolutely off-limits. Eunhoo thrashed and resisted, but he couldn’t easily shake off a man who was already aroused.
His neck was bitten, and every corner of his skin was chewed and sucked.
‘Sweet.’
He lifted his head. Lips glistening with saliva shone clearly even under the room’s dim light.
‘Your skin tastes sweet.’
While he was dazed, Eunhoo jumped up just as the man stood up to finish the job and clicked open his belt. Given his size and grip strength, normally it would have been impossible, but that day, because he was so drunk, Eunhoo managed to push him away somehow. Leaving him to stumble and fall back onto the sofa, Eunhoo ran for his life. It was a miracle that he, who used to run the 100-meter dash in the late 10-second range in school, had moved so quickly. He had sprained his ankle on the stairs while running without looking back, but he hadn’t even felt the pain at the time.
“I’m going crazy.”
Seeing Yeo Taejun’s face in the bright light, his own image of moaning while pinned beneath his body also surfaced vividly.
It was Yeo Taejun of all people, so it was even worse. As Eunhoo buried his face in his palms in exhaustion and let out a long sigh, the manager’s voice reached his ears.
—Mr. Eunhoo?
It was the sound coming from the tube earphone he was wearing.
—Where are you right now! The guests are leaving; you have to see them off.
It felt like he had been sitting for only a moment, but reality had moved on. I’m doomed. Eunhoo jumped to his feet.
“…I’m sorry. I’ll be there right away.”
As Eunhoo walked toward the room pulling the tray, he flinched instinctively at the sight in front of him. Somehow, the two men had already come out of the room.
The room Eunhoo served was isolated as a detached building, making it the most private spot. Also, when the side window was opened, the view of the back garden unfolded, which was spectacular.
“Did you enjoy the meal?”
Even the owner, who rarely showed himself, had heard the news and come out to see them off.
“Yes. It was very delicious.”
“I’m glad to hear that. And this is nothing special, but it is the pine needle wine our restaurant is most proud of. Would you accept it?”
“Ah….”
“There’s no ulterior motive. It’s not an expensive liquor, just a bottle of wine we sell at the shop. I would be grateful if you could think of it as a light service for our guests.”
He added quickly in case he was worried it might be a bribe. Looking troubled, Assemblyman Jung thought about it carefully before accepting the owner’s gesture. It was clear the liquor had suited his taste quite well.
“Then, I will enjoy it with thanks.”
Eunhoo quietly approached and stood next to the manager. The manager glared at him. Although he had told him not to interfere, he was clearly trying to hold back his anger over Eunhoo, who had disappeared at will. But Eunhoo had no room to care about that. It was because he could feel eyes watching him from a while ago.
“I feel slighted. Are you only giving it to the Assemblyman?”
“How could that be? Mr. Yeo’s is naturally prepared as well. Thank you for coming today. Please, do visit us often.”
Eunhoo lifted his gaze at the laughter-filled voice, then hesitated. Yeo Taejun was looking exactly at where Eunhoo was standing.
“Yes. I will come often from now on. I’ve found a reason to.”
“…!”
With that meaningful remark, Yeo Taejun curved his eyes softly.
Whoosh— A hot breeze carrying the scent of grass scattered Eunhoo’s wet bangs. It had been the same when they first met. He had closed his eyes for a moment due to the sudden wind, and when he opened them, that man had been standing right in front of him.
“…hoo-ssi. Mr. Eunhoo!”
At the manager’s call, Eunhoo woke from his reminiscence.
“What are you doing? Hurry up and take it.”
When he lifted his eyes, Yeo Taejun had already taken several yellow banknotes out of his wallet and was holding them out.
Eunhoo blinked slowly. He didn’t have much of a relationship with the kitchen staff, but the servers occasionally received tips from guests.
“Take it.”
“Ah, I….”
“Hurry.”
To Eunhoo, who was desperate for every penny, that money—which looked like at least hundreds of thousands of won—was tempting. In normal times, he would have grabbed it with joy, but for some reason, he couldn’t easily reach out his hand now. Eunhoo bit his lip. He had been wondering for a while now: Why am I acting so restless, like a criminal?
Is it because of what happened a few days ago?
