“Twi-twit! Twit, twit, twit-!”

Sophina flapped her blue wings and struggled.

Following the movement of the bluebird, the lukewarm bath water waved and sloshed.

‘With this much water, even swans would take off their cranes and run away!’

It was the worst for birds, because the water was foamy because of the bath salt.

In the first place, bluebirds weren’t even birds that lived in water.

The ending of a sunfish drowning in a bathtub in the house was an emissary.

Sophina flapped her wings even more desperately

Still, slowly, the bluebird’s body began to sink.

‘The water went in, so my nose was stuffy!’

The thought that she was really going to die came crashing down on her.

What kind of crisis was this?

Died from hiccups, died from blowing on her nose, and now died from washing in a bathtub.

Feeling alarmed, she cried, tweeting, barely wrapping the telekinesis around the tip of her wings.

Just in time, Ricardo’s voice came from outside the door.

“What’s wrong?”

“Twit! Twit, twit!!”

Sophina cried louder and affirmed.

But Ricardo checked her one more time as if he didn’t understand.

“May I come in, Madam?”

‘Just come in why are you talking like that! Please…’

Fortunately, the bathroom door opened right away.

The sight that spread out through the crack in the door was a small bluebird trying to survive.

Ricardo’s expression, who witnessed hee situation, was vaguely distorted.

Like a butler who sees a troublemaker puppy roaming around.

Ricardo lifted her up silently with his finger without saying a word.

A small bluebird climbed up at his touch.

It was not a drowning mouse, but it looked like a drooping cotton ball.

The bluebird was immediately buried in the soft silk towel.

The small bluebird shook its body.

Transparent water droplets and white raindrops-like water spurted along her movement.

Ricardo carefully wiped the slippery foam from her blue feathers.

It’s already been an hour since his gentle care began.

‘Ah, early life was really hard…’

Sophina sneezed feeling cold.

As a result of her movements, water droplets splashed in all directions again.

While rubbing the bird’s head with a towel, Ricardo calmly asked,

“How did this happen?”

“Twit!”

‘You know it hurts to let anyone know about it!’

Again, Sophina took away the towel with her beak with an ignorant temper due to the absurd dark history that happened.

Then she entered the dress room across from the bathroom.

‘It’s better to deal with it alone in the end. It’s embarrassing.’

Sophina squeezed out the remaining of her power to close the door, and turned into a human again.

Perhaps because she had been in the form of a bird for quite some time, it was likely that humanization would resolve anytime soon.

‘Let’s wrap this up and go to sleep.’

Definitely dry, she rummaged through the dressing room drawers.

‘Shouldn’t I wear clothes?’

What she found was a white animal pajamas for teenagers, similar to Ricardo.

“It’s not bad, even the male lead’s wearing it.”

Sophina looked in the mirror and checked her clothes. Then, suddenly, an ominous thought occurred to her.

“Come to think of it, there was only one bed!”‘

That means…

“Why did I humanize again?”

Regrets flooded her in like a tide.

Sophina regretted her momentary choice and hit the ground.

Then she sat down on the floor with a look of disdain as if she had given up.

For a while…

Then she carefully opened the dressing room door and peeked out of the room.

Ricardo sat on the bed and was reading neatly.

She crawled up to the corner of the bed and took a seat.

“What are you doing?”

Then Ricardo stared at her and spoke.

Sophina avoided eye contact by looking elsewhere.

“Okay, I’m going to sleep.” (Sophina)

“Then why are you there?” (Ricardo)

“Sleeping together was a little bit…too much right?” (Sophina)

She asked again in a voice that trembled like a branch in the wind.

It didn’t work.

Ricardo said with an innocent look, unlike Sophina, who had a basket full in her head.

“Why?”

“That’s… Well, uh…”

‘What should I say?’ (Sophina)

‘How should I answer this?’

Sophina in the end gave up.

‘Male lead and I are friends. So it’s okay to sleep together, right?”

However, Ricardo narrowed the distance a step closer.

“Ah, hands!” (Sophina)

She blinked in surprise and said.

‘I’ll just hold your hand and sleep. You trust me, right?’ (Sophina)

It was because I was thinking about useless thoughts, and that famous regular comment came to mind.

In response to Sophina’s extremely transparent reaction, Ricardo frowned for a moment.

He then spoke slowly as he folded his arms and whispered.

There was an indescribable smile on his lips as he spoke.

“Was it because of the saying that couples would have children if they sleep while holding hands?” (Ricardo)

“Ye-yes?” (Sophina)

Sophina, who nodded her head at his indifference, belatedly expressed her doubts.

But Ricardo did not notice it and spoke again.

The words that came out of Ricardo’s lips, with a clear smile, were beyond Sophina’s imagination.

“Then I’ll sleep without holding your hand.”

‘Yes?’

‘Huh? What are you talking about?’

Sophina was speechless.

At first glance, he spoke affectionately.

“I won’t hold your hand, so just sleep comfortably on the bed.”

Ricardo was lost in thought as he stared at his wife, two years younger than him

‘It seems that the child still believes in the myth that the storks bring.’ (Ricardo)

Ricardo was willing enough to match the rhythm of Sophina.

‘Because I don’t know about this bluebird yet.’

She suddenly talked to him and asked to become friends, and now she’s like this.

‘I couldn’t get the hang of it.’ (Ricardo)

Maybe it was his fault.

He didn’t do anything intentionally like his first resolution to stick to Sophina.

‘I was just trying to find out about the contract by paying the price of my life and living in a reasonable relationship…’

Friend and wife, Ricardo honestly didn’t care.

It was a bit amusing that she reacted instantly when teased, but I didn’t really want to get too close to Sophina.

Because if you have someone precious, you would only suffer later.

But…

‘I need to reassure her first.’

At the end of Ricardo’s view was Sophina, who was restless.

He brought a long giraffe doll and put it in the center of the bed.

Just like a little child, fighting for their territory.

Sophina forcibly closed her gaping mouth.

Then she was silently astonished.

‘Wow, it’s crazy. Was it gilded?’

Apparently, male lead’s condition was strange.

It’s also in a strangely different direction from the description of the original.

‘Hey, sexy crazy guy. Why was there such a wholesome word like that of an elementary school teacher all of a sudden!’

She let out a deep sigh, as if the ground was breaking.

It was a moment when minor misunderstandings about each other accumulated.

At that time, Ricardo, who had finished organizing the area on the bed, spoke in a languid tone.

“Then I’ll turn off the lights.”

Before she knew it, Sophina was calmly laid on the pillow by Ricado.

With the sound of the clock lamp turning off, the room quickly darkened along the scenery outside.

Sophina slowly tossed and turned without hugging the soft blanket to the fullest.

It’s a yard with a middle line, but wasn’t this one a fire?

‘It’s an uncomfortable bed in many ways.’

‘I was also worried that I would touch the giraffe doll if I let go of my consciousness.’ (Sophina)

Then, Sophina suddenly turned her head to Ricardo.

Eyes with close eyelashes, slightly open bright red lips as shallow breath was leaking, and disheveled white hair.

He seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep.

She smirked as she turned her gaze to the lion painting on the ceiling.

‘What? Why do I feel so safe?’

The night grew deeper…

Sophina curled up in the corner like a shrimp while blinking.

In the bed where I always fell asleep alone, I felt the warmth of others. An unfamiliar and indescribable feeling came to me.

‘Now that the wedding’s over, I could really say that I’m the male lead’s wife.’

Sophina realized the fact belatedly.

Thus, Sophina became Sophina Chadwick.

The next morning.

“Oh, I slept well!”

Sophina stretched her arms out. Glancing out of the window, the sun was already bright up in the sky.

Perhaps because I overslept, I felt refreshed.

However, I found one strange thing.

‘When did I get all this blankets…?:

When I casually looked next to me, Ricardo was nowhere to be seen.

The giraffe doll also fell under the bed at some point.

‘Did he run away because my sleeping habits were bad?’

Sophina scratched her head thinking so.

“Where did he go?”

Still, I was fortunate not to go through the difficult situation that arranged marriage couples usually face in the morning on their first night.

‘Nothing happened, but I’m still embarrassed to say hello.’

As she procrastinated, she crawled out of bed and stretched.

Knock, knock~

Just in time, someone knocked on the door.

“Are you awake, daughter-in-law?”

It was my mother.
