Phew, what a story, am I right? It's honestly hard to describe how I feel about this story as a whole, so I'll let you guys comment what you think about it yourselves lmao.
What I can say, though, is that despite our MC being a cultist, the faction that stole my heart the most is definitely the Harmony Church and all its amazing characters. I mean, Saint Ferris was part of that faction... what more can I say? But even the lesser Harmony gang is just so much fun to root for. Lucius with his backstory, Valentin being the biggest bro from the very beginning, and SAINT SERAPHINA!! omg, Saint Seraphina really might have made it into my top 3 characters after the [Golemophia] arc, man.
Besides that, my favorite arc never really changed. It was always [Sanctuary of Repose], but I can assure you that [Island of the Dead] is coming in at a very close second. Neir and Karr's whole thing just gave me so much joy, ngl to u guys.
One more noteworthy story-wise thing I want to bring up is Bogakariki. In my headcanon, he's a monster who parasitizes people, but because he was charmed by Karr, he eventually turned into one of the good guys lmao. But seriously, every time I had to TL him, it filled me with so much dread because I was always so scared of what he was going to do.
Moving away from the story, let me rant a bit about the behind-the-scenes stuff and my experience working on this novel.
First of all, this is truly a novel where gender doesn't even matter imo. The primary example is Iratelectus. Since it's a wand anyway, you can really just imagine whichever gender you want. The same could be said for the evil gods and benevolent ones. It doesn't really matter what gender they are; the right answer is probably whichever one you had in your head.
That being said, I think Blackbeak and Brightfeather are actually female, guys... At some point, the realization came to me, but I was already too deep in and, again, it really wasn't that important what their gender was. Especially since, in this world, there really isn't much distinction between genders. By that, I mean someone could have feminine tendencies but be male, and the opposite works too. I think the only part where gender actually matters is Michelle, with her attraction toward a specific gender.
Also, Karr is such a fun representation of gender fluidity next to that one Loki descendant from Rick Riordan's Viking novel lmao.
Aside from that, I think this might be my worst project in terms of translation work. There were just so many names and skills to keep track of, so I'm really prone to errors. The hardest ones were definitely the gods' epithets, especially since Okail's kept changing after his [Genesis Upheaval] and so on and so forth. You get what I mean.
Here's a funny tidbit for u guys: Lriria's skills usually consist of one-syllable words that have a negative meaning, but if you read them all together, they form another, bigger meaning. For example, [Destruction · Death · Flame] can simply be read as [Destruction].
Now it's time for my favorite segment: recommending u guys my other projects, ranked based on how good they are, with absolutely NO bias involved, fr fr.
1. A Survival Guide for a Counselor in the Apocalypse
2. The S-Rank Paparazzi Reincarnates as an Idol
3. How a Loan Shark Survives as an Actor

Well, that's about it, really.
Thank you to everyone who has read this novel all the way to this point. May Lord Talendros shine upon you, and may your reward for overcoming adversity be as sweet as dew.
In the meantime, don't tempt Lady Teramea with your silly jinxes, and I'll see you later in my other projects.
