Deflower Me If You Can Chapter 19
Both cheeks, and indeed his entire face, had already turned bright red. After hurriedly giving him some water to stop him from crying any further, the tears finally ceased, but heavy sobs continued in their place. Watching the child gasp for breath, unable to breathe properly from all the crying, Cassian suddenly felt a wave of deflation.
What am I doing, picking on a little kid?
Feeling disgusted with himself, he let out a deep sigh. Then, between sobs, Bliss asked.
“Are, are you, not gonna tell me, secrets anymore, ever?”
Cassian silently looked into the child’s face. Bliss’s round, flushed face was a mix of anxiety, disappointment, hope, and resignation. If he said yes, would Bliss burst into tears again, or would he try to hold them in this time?
For some reason, Cassian thought it would be the latter. Even now, Bliss was biting his lower lip hard, desperately trying to suppress his sobs. And on top of that—
“…Sorry for causing you trouble, Cassian.”
The child apologized again, his voice trembling. By the time it had come to this, Cassian just gave up on everything.
Fine. It’s only a month.
As the duchess had said, he could just split the days appropriately. His mother had some responsibility too, so she’d probably take about half of it. Then he could enjoy the remaining holidays. If there were plans he couldn’t fulfill, he could always do them another time.
Besides, it wasn’t such a big deal to make this little kid cry this much.
What happened during the day, the way he’d blabbed the secret—it was all just a child’s mistake. Thinking that, it all seemed forgivable.
Of course, since his life was precisely scheduled at every stage, it wouldn’t be easy to create another opportunity like this. But that was fine. People were going to Mars, so what was a wild vacation compared to that?
“Don’t tell anyone else from now on.”
Bliss’s eyes went wide in an instant. Those blue eyes, straining to open beneath puffy, swollen lids, made Cassian laugh involuntarily. Seeing his reaction, Bliss, who had been crying moments ago, shouted in a much higher-pitched voice.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I won’t ever tell anyone from now on. It’s a secret! I’ll definitely keep a secret!”
“Yeah, definitely. Shh.”
“Shh.”
When Cassian pressed his finger to his lips and made a shushing sound, Bliss followed suit. Immediately after, he beamed and threw himself at Cassian.
“Cassian, I’m so happy.”
This time, Cassian didn’t push the child away but held him warmly. He even patted his back before realizing his own actions and letting out a rueful laugh.
Whatever works.
Thinking that, he brought up the plan he’d had in mind from the start.
“How about we go birdwatching tomorrow?”
“Biiirds?”
Startled by the sudden topic, Bliss pulled back and looked at him. Cassian nodded, saying “Yeah,” and continued.
“It’s observing birds using telescopes and equipment. There’s a marshland on the estate that’s great for birdwatching. It’s just a short drive away…”
“I wanna go!”
Bliss shouted excitedly.
“I wanna go, I definitely wanna go! Anywhere’s fine! Let’s go see birds, birds!”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Cassian nodded, indulging the child’s excitement. Eventually, when Bliss began panting from exhaustion, Cassian finally stood up and said.
“But we have to wake up early, okay?”
“Of course, I can wake up early! Trust me!”
Bliss thumped his chest with his fist and declared boldly. Cassian nodded, saying “Yeah,” and reached out his hand.
“Let’s get some sleep. I’ll take you to your room.”
“Can’t we sleep together?”
Bliss looked up at him wistfully. His face, a complete mess from all the crying, was a more powerful weapon than anything else. There was no intention behind it, but that was the result. Cassian had opened his mouth to refuse, but seeing that face, he was speechless. In the end, he sighed and scooped Bliss up.
“Just for tonight.”
Having said that, he set Bliss down on the bed, turned off the lights, and returned to his spot to lie down.
“Good night, Bliss.”
“Good night, Cassian.”
After exchanging greetings and closing his eyes, Cassian soon felt a shifting sensation on one side of the bed. Bliss, who had stealthily crept closer to Cassian as he lay still, wrapped his arms around him.
“Hehe.”
Bliss let out a small laugh, then a deep breath, and leaned his head against him. Soon, the child’s rhythmic breathing followed. When Cassian opened his eyes and glanced down, Bliss was already fast asleep.
…What do I do.
It seemed like he could easily peel the child off and push him away without waking him at all. Cassian raised his hand to detach the child’s grip, but then stopped and sighed. He’d thought he wouldn’t be able to fall asleep deeply with his troubled mind, but unexpectedly, he soon drifted off—just like the child clinging to his arm.

At the blaring sound of his phone alarm, Cassian opened his eyes. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but to observe birds, they needed to hurry.
“I can wake up early! Trust me!”
Bliss had smiled brightly and declared loudly the day before. Of course, Cassian hadn’t believed him.
Figured as much.
Cassian got up immediately, finished preparing, and stood with his arms crossed, frowning down at the child. Bliss was completely dead to the world. With a sigh, Cassian turned off the blaring phone alarm beside Bliss’s head. Tossing the now-silent phone onto the bed, he gazed down at Bliss, who was still mumbling in his sleep.
Should I just go alone? Cassian considered for a moment, but quickly changed his mind and gently shook the child.
“Bliss, wake up. We’re going to see the birds.”
He spoke calmly, but Bliss showed no response whatsoever. After staring at the child, arms flung up and sound asleep, Cassian got up and headed to Bliss’s room. As expected, on the table in the bedroom was the outfit for today, neatly folded and prepared by the staff the night before.
Returning to the room, he undressed the child and dressed him in the prepared clothes, then carried him out—and Bliss never woke up once. Cassian silently sat him in the passenger seat, fastened his seatbelt, and started the car toward their destination. After driving for a while, watching the rising sun, they finally reached the marshland.
“Bliss, wake up.”
After first taking out the equipment and completing all the necessary preparations, Cassian shook the still-sleeping Bliss—who hadn’t opened his eyes even once—and finally, the child showed a response.
“Mmm, mmmm.”
“Wake up, Bliss. We’re here.”
“Mmmm…”
The child blinked sleep-filled eyes and looked at Cassian. Bliss sat there dazedly with half-lidded eyes, still too sleepy to grasp the situation. Cassian continued.
“Wake up, it’s time. We have to walk from here.”
“Mmmm.”
Still muttering sleepy moans, Bliss rubbed his eyes, then let out a huge yawn—waaah. Cassian waited no longer, lifted Bliss out of the car, and set him down, then fetched a thin cape from the backseat and put it on him. He then gathered the equipment under one arm, hoisted Bliss up with the other, and said.
“Alright, let’s go.”
As Cassian strode forward with Bliss in his arms, the scenery whisked by rapidly. Bliss, his cheeks flushed, said “Wow.”
“Cassian, you’re like my Daddy.”
Hehe—the child’s face showed no trace of sleepiness. Cassian looked ahead and replied indifferently.
“Weren’t you supposed to be my friend?”
It was a careless remark, but Bliss took it differently.
“That’s fine. We’re going to get married, so we’re family.”
He said it matter-of-factly, then proudly added.
“Besides, I’ve seen Cassian’s willy too. So you have to take responsibility. Like a man!”
A man? He’s barely the size of a peanut.
“Didn’t you say you didn’t see it?”
Cassian smirked, recalling the lie Bliss had told. Bliss then grinned back—heh—and said.
“I actually did see it. It’s fine—we’re going to get married anyway.”
