“Pudding, wanna eat more…….”

Eventually, I stared regretfully at the completely empty glass jar and licked my lips. Seeing that, the nanny chuckled softly and gently wiped the corner of my mouth.

The nanny had already become my captive, so her touch was especially gentle.

“If you wish, I can ask them to bring out about half a portion more. But if you eat too much, your teeth will rot.”

“Mmm…… den it’s okay. Instead…….”

“Yes, Little Lady.”

“I wanna go say tank-you to the person who made dis!”

“Oh my, I’m sure the chef will be very pleased.”

I nodded with an innocent expression. But in truth, I was cackling sinisterly on the inside.

This was all part of my dark and terrifying scheme.

The head chef was a very important person within the household. If I became friendly with the chef, then at the very least, my meals wouldn’t become subpar just because Rahin had arrived.

‘Even though Rahin eventually wins the chef’s heart…….’

I suddenly remembered a scene from the original story.

[“Jeff, this is called tteokbokki. It’s three times more delicious if you add sausages!”

“Saintess…… this is…….”

“Hm? What’s wrong, Jeff?”

Jeff, the head chef of Driblyane, wiped away his tears.

He couldn’t help it. The recipe Saintess Rahin had given him was something he was already very familiar with. It was none other than…… a recipe once made by Ariadne, who had died in battle long ago.

“Your daughter’s dish made the head of the family so happy whenever he ate it. But ever since Lady Ariadne passed away like that…… I haven’t made it again.”

“Oh…….”

Rahin raised her eyes slightly in surprise.

Memories of Ariadne, whom she had forgotten, came flooding back. Jet-black hair and turquoise eyes that resembled bronze.

Ariadne, who always looked at her with an expression of contempt, had obstructed Rahin’s meetings with Kiraxus every single time.

It had happened a long time ago, but Rahin had no memories of the time she had been sealed away, so Ariadne felt as vivid as if she had only seen her yesterday.

‘Could it be that Ariadne also came to this world from the same place as me?’

Staggering from the shock, Rahin nearly lost her balance.

“Thank you for bringing back memories I had forgotten because so much time had passed. Sniff…… I’ll work hard to make sure you can enjoy it.”

“Umm, sorry for making you cry.”

After barely managing to compose herself, Rahin smiled sweetly as though she understood everything and gave Jeff a tight hug.

“If I make tteokbokki and bring it out, the head of the family will definitely be happy. I have to help him regain his strength!”

“Yes, Saintess. You’re absolutely right.”

“Oh, come on. I’m not a Saintess anymore. You can just call me Rahin.”

With a bright expression, Rahin stepped back and looked around the busy kitchen.

But she was terribly anxious. Of the three wishes she had been able to ask of God, she had used her final wish to ensure that she could naturally exist within the Driblyane estate.

‘There’s nothing I can do anymore.’

It was unlikely to happen, but what if Ariadne wasn’t actually dead? Or what if she somehow returned from the dead……?

‘What am I supposed to do then?’]

Even remembering it again, what a shocking and horrifyingly ridiculous plot twist.

‘But just because you’re coming, I have no intention of obediently leaving this comfortable family.’

I raised my head and looked down the corridor, filled with restrained splendor. It was as beautiful as the Imperial Palace and positively reeked of wealth. So luxurious that I couldn’t help wanting it.

“Move it, John!”

Soon, perched proudly on John’s head, I marched majestically down the corridor. Then I heard the servants around me whispering as they looked at me.

“Isn’t that the new Saintess?”

“I heard she can predict the future. I don’t really believe it, though.”

“But having an albino represents Driblyane…… that’s a little…….”

“Shh, you’ll be punished by heaven! I heard the reason she can’t be humanized is because she used up too much strength bringing spring!”

Hehe. Just as planned.

The reason I couldn’t humanize was because I was an albino, but I could conceal that weakness with thirty percent truth and seventy percent rumor.

Of course, at first, there were many people who disliked me. Whenever I passed by, the whispers and looks I received weren’t exactly pleasant.

But the atmosphere in the estate completely changed after urgent news came in following the information I had given them about the attack.

“My little brother was stationed at the very front you warned us about! But he survived because you told us beforehand!”

“I heard everyone evacuated because you warned them a day before the attack, and they were even able to launch a surprise attack instead!”

“How could you have known? We’re truly grateful.”

It took less than a day for the rumors to start working in my favor. It only took two days for people’s gazes toward me to become extremely friendly.

And then, when I started acting friendly with them, their reactions changed completely.

My ultimate cute attack: exposing my belly!

I performed the move called [Flop Over], and—

“Oh my, Lady Florin was so cute that I punched the wall, and now I can see into the next room. What should I do?!”

The maids whose families had been saved thanks to my information giggled and showered me with ridiculous praise.

Then I performed the move called [Wiggling My Round Ears]—

“Huff, huff. C-can I…… just once…… can I touch them just once?”

The knights whose comrades had made it back safely clutched their chests and struggled to breathe.

After all, a plump little butt, two round ears, and a fluffy tail were lethal weapons. And I’d put on a little weight lately, too, so I was nice and chubby. How could anyone not think I was adorable?

‘Unless they were an albino hater down to their very bones, it wouldn’t be easy for them to keep hating a young child who was affectionate toward them.’

‘No, honestly, whether they hated me or thought I was cute had been a very, very fine line.’

If someone wanted to hate me for being unable to humanize, they certainly could have.

‘But now, rumors are spreading everywhere that they stopped the attack thanks to me.’

On top of that, there were even rumors that Kiraxus, one of the most powerful people in this family, had decided to become the heir because of me. In a situation like that, there wasn’t a single bold enough employee who would deliberately hate me.

‘So, to be precise, it’s probably less that they like me because I’m cute and more that they like the fact that I’m the Saintess, or that they like the power surrounding me.’

Well, I didn’t care. After all, the one who had started the false rumor that I was the Saintess was none other than the family patriarch.

I remembered the night the urgent report came in, when the patriarch had summoned me without anyone knowing.

“There cannot be two Saintesses under the heavens.”

The family patriarch stood with his hands clasped behind his back and quietly continued.

“I do not believe that you are the Saintess. I do not believe in Saintesses to begin with. That is because I do not believe in the existence of God.”

“However…… Since you have benefited the family, it does not matter whether you are the real thing or merely happened to guess correctly. From now on, you are the true Saintess, and we will say that you awakened alongside spring. We will spread the rumor that the Saintess of the Holy Empire, who is currently sealed away, is actually a false Saintess, and that you are the true one.”

‘Wow, he really does look like a villain…….’

Ladies and gentlemen, you are witnessing a scene where the real thing becomes fake and the fake thing becomes real in the blink of an eye.

“Because of you, Kiraxus abandoned his stubbornness and decided to take the position of heir. That alone would have been enough to make you useful, but you’ve proven to be even more remarkable than I expected.”

The way the patriarch looked at me now was…… well, yes. Exactly that.

The look of someone staring at a treasure chest.

I could instinctively feel that my value had skyrocketed.

“This is a gift. Take it and eat.”

“Macaron……!”

Then he even gave me a box containing twelve colorful macarons!

“I stopped by the Imperial Palace and brought them because they made me think of you.”

“Tank-you!”

Who would have thought he’d bring his granddaughter-in-law snacks while he was out?

Yesterday, I happily shared them with everyone, only to get scolded by the nanny. She was so worried that my teeth would rot if I ate too many sweets.

Since her words were motivated by genuine affection for me, I honestly liked hearing them.

‘Anyway, people are going to keep expecting me to prevent attacks from now on.’

If I had to keep that up for too long, I’d eventually run out of tricks.

Fortunately, however, now that both countries knew spring had arrived, they would soon sign a peace treaty.

Once the time came to restore the devastated countries…… I could naturally earn a reputation without having to do anything else.

“Welcome, Little Lady.”

“Jeph!”

“Hehehe. The kitchen is dangerous, you know. Still, seeing you come all the way here gives me a boost of energy.”

A short while later, I arrived at the kitchen.

At first, Jeff had been extremely wary of me coming into the kitchen and didn’t particularly like it. But after I praised his desserts down to the molecular level, Jeff soon opened his heart to me.

“I was just baking some macaron shells. Would you like one?”

“Yes!!!”

What a stroke of luck!

The nanny was fairly strict about controlling the amount of snacks I ate. Since I couldn’t humanize, she recommended that I only eat an amount that wouldn’t be dangerous even while in animal form.

‘Sorry, Nanny. Snacks eaten in secret just taste so much better…….’

Before long, I hugged the pink macaron shell, colored with raspberry syrup, to my chest and became the happiest marten in the world.
