Strictly speaking, it was right that Baek Do-jun, Chae Yoon-chan, Joo Tae-kang, and Yoo Yi-seo did not bother me, but Moon Kyung-sik and the gongs were the same to me.

“Did Seo Eun-soo say that?”

“We inquired. The alpha pheromone must be strong when it comes down again.”

“That was also the smell of the guy I smelled last time, so I thought I needed to know more.”

Chae Yoon-chan and Joo Tae-kang answered my question almost at the same time. The two men’s eyes glinted. It seems they had the ulterior motive of making Moon Kyung-sik into skewers and grilling him on a bonfire.

“Why are you all so worked up? What’s the relationship between you and me?”

“……We live together. We’re housemates anyway.”

Eww. I was sick and tired of Baek Do-jun’s answer.

‘What, housemate! Who admitted to living with him.’

Baek Do-jun flinched when he saw me not liking his use of words. I could see his straight posture shrinking. It was none of my business.

“Aren’t we in a loving relationship woven into divine labor?”

Yoo Yi-seo made a lot of dog noises with a smoldering face. I couldn’t even get angry because I was dumbfounded.

“I didn’t know you had a good opinion of incitement and fabrication, Yoo Yi-seo ssi.”

“I am excellent in that way.”

“That was not a compliment.”

“I didn’t mean to say lightly that there was an alpha bastard that stuck to Seong Chan-young.”

Yoo Yi-seo rose from his seat. He walked with long legs and quickly came to where I was. He stuck out one hand and pulled my chin.

“There’s still a pheromone of the alpha bastard on you.”

What do you want me to do?

‘He’s not even a territory-marking beast. Is it a throwback?’

I don’t know why I’m so angry when he was not even a real beast for spouting pheromones.

“Does being extremely dominant make you extremely sensitive to pheromones?”

“Get your hands off me. And as Seo Eun-soo probably said, that person’s name is Moon Kyung-sik.”

“I know, but is it necessary to remember the name of a fellow like that?”

At the same time, Yoo Yi-seo grabbed my chin and turned around to examine my condition. It was not the attitude of the professional examining the stolen jewelry but rather the appraiser’s.

‘Do you deserve to say that to me on a topic when I’m not your fiancé or anything?’

It was ridiculous. My pride was hurt by his attitude of looking at me as a helpless human being, as if I were in his possession.

No matter how stupidly you treat it, it’s an oil fountain.

“Arrrrr, woof woof!”

General showed signs of displeasure and tried to bite Yoo Yi-seo again. I didn’t stop him. I hated being held, so I knocked out Yoo Yi-seo’s hand.

“Let me go and talk. Your attitude is very unpleasant.”

“You used to like it.”

“When is that said to be?”

I responded fiercely, even though I wasn’t sure it was the case not long ago. If it was Seong Chan-young, you wouldn’t know, but I had to go stronger because all I had for those people was annoyance.

As I deliberately pushed Yoo Yi-seo slightly and headed to the kitchen counter, I saw a large bowl of rice that was steaming, as expected. The kimchi-fried rice piled up in a heap was lovely. Next to it was a thin, crispy pancake on a flat plate. It was also accompanied by a small bowl of soy sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds.

After I finished preparing the meal for general first, I took my own dinner, put it down on the table and declared.

“I’m going to eat, so can you all leave? I don’t want to get indigestion while eating.”

It’s past eight o’clock. Since the gongs didn’t eat, I was the only one left in the kitchen. When I took out the radish kimchi, took a big spoonful of kimchi fried rice, and ate it on top of it, I felt their eyes focusing on me.

“……We are worried about you, Chan-young.”

Baek Do-jun, you said it well once. Not even dogs are hit when eating. [1] I answered, munching on the kimchi fried rice.

“It depends on the person who worries. Is that the attitude of a concerned person? Thank you for worrying about me in the atmosphere of interrogating the guilty person, I’ll say.”

I don’t know why Seo Eun-soo told them the story of meeting Moon Kyung-sik. When I glanced  at him resentfully, he shook his head as if it were unfair.

Has he been questioned?

“What are you talking about?”

“Because that’s what it sounded like. Even if it comes from purely worrying intentions, the choice of wording is wrong.”

“Chan-young, that’s…….”

“You can do it like you said last time. You and I are nothing. So why don’t you at least be careful of words that bother each other?”

Baek Do-jun’s expression broke down. I didn’t care if he looked hurt. I said while cutting out the tip of the most crispy pancake.

“If you’re done with your business, go back to your own rooms.”

“If we don’t?”

“Then I’ll move and eat.”

I moved my seat first without hearing the answer. When I moved the bowl to the living room table and munched the  kimchi-fried rice, I heard Baek Do-jun sighed.

“At this rate, the story won’t work at all. What a fuss.”

‘Who’s to say that.’

Yoo Yi-seo gritted his teeth at me. I ignored it. After responding to each of those remarks, I became very tired.

You can bark as much as you want, but I’m still going to eat.

Going over the well, I pushed the rice into my mouth. There was no way that those quick-witted gongs didn’t know my intention to focus on the dood by inflating my cheeks as if filling a ball pocket.

“Come here; don’t squat there and eat uncomfortably.”

“I’m comfortable sitting down.”

Did it seem inappropriate to sit on the floor and eat? But this was pretty comfortable. I sat in front of the television, according to the instinct remembered by my soul.

The gongs looked at me in a pitiful way. As if I were a child who was lying face down in the middle of the mall, asking them to buy something I liked. I choked up at that thought.

“Come to the table. We’ll go in. We didn’t mean to interrupt your mealtime. I was going to clean up the minnow.”

Joo Tae-kang told me in a harsh tone that made me unsure if he was angry or worried.

Baek Do-jun and Chae Yoon-chan also got up as if it were an order. Yoo Yi-seo gave me that bad smile, hesitating until the end.

“You’re really consistent and stubborn, trying to refuse even though we said we’re going to help. You have a way to go without getting your hands dirty yet…… Why do it every time?”

Pop. I popped the yolk of the half-cooked egg that I had saved for the last. I couldn’t help but reply to Yoo Yi-seo’s words because they were irritating.

“Because I don’t want to depend on you. I have enough capital and power to protect myself, so don’t worry about useless things and go in, wash your feet, and sleep.”

“That’s too cold. There is no room to dig into; how can you live in sadness?”

If I can’t live, my habitat will be lost. So can’t you get lost?!

After saying this, I thought Yoo Yi-seo, who treats me like a dense chick, wouldn’t let me go, so I put my head in the bowl again and feigned ignorance. I turned on the TV. I needed a noisy entertainment show that Yoo Yi-seo would hate the most.

“Let’s talk about this later. I can’t help it because the person in charge doesn’t like to talk to us.”

I had no intention of responding to the subject in the future. I focused on eating, pretending to be chasing after chickens. It was fortunate that there was a cool beer in the refrigerator.

Only Seo Eun-soo, who hesitated, remained on the table after Yoo Yi-seo left. I spoke first because I didn’t know what to say.

“Did those humans stir-fry Seo Eun-soo when they smelled the pheromone?”

** “stir-fry” is a funny use of word but it is what it is. xD

“……I’m sorry. Even if I was an alpha, the four of them turned their eyes upside down and asked me what happened, and I couldn’t help but confess.”

I’m sure that was the case. By the way, it was surprising that the attitude toward Seo Eun-soo was getting different from the original work day by day.

Instead of trying to appease Seo Eun-soo, whom they cherished so much, they asked fiercely and made him talk about it.

‘Isn’t it weird to be interested in Seong Chan-young in the first place?’

It was embarrassing from my point of view, as the Alphas kept trying to do restrictive actions that only they would do to omegas. I don’t think they’ve figured out that I’m a recessive omega, but their behaviors were exactly that, so I was the only one stabbed.

Seo Eun-soo, who was innocent, was like a shrimp that burst in the middle. I’m not a whale; I’m a sardine, but I had to get him out of that whale-like alphas.

“From now on, ignore whatever those alpha guys say. Seo Eun-soo ssi.”

“Are you angry……?”

“No. If I’m angry, I’m angry that those alpha guys see me as a weak individual who has to be protected. Why would I get mad at Seo Eun-soo? To the person who carried me all the way here.”

I was grateful to Seo Eun-soo. If it weren’t for Seo Eun-soo being at the scene where Moon Kyung-sik poured pheromones on me, the forced heat cycle might have been successful.

‘If it did, I would have wanted to bite my tongue and die…….’

The feeling after the dampness was still vivid. If it had gotten wetter from there, it could have come to have to mix with one of the alphas living with it.

‘And whose life is going to be ruined?’

If Seong Chan-young was found to be a recessive omega, the scariest thing was that I didn’t know how the obsessive gongs would react at a time when I didn’t have an imprint partner yet, and Seo Eun-soo became an alpha. It had to be prevented because, as soon as I was caught, I might have to leave this cozy home and run away.

“Chan-young ssi…….”

Seo Eun-soo, who had been reliable, was now crying like a gentle sheep. Ugh. Beauty’s tears were harmful.

I unconsciously stroked his fine black hair.

“Thank you for today. I can handle my work on my own so that this doesn’t happen, so Seo Eun-soo ssi, stop worrying and go rest.”

It was a gentle remark, but Eun-soo looked discouraged by this. I couldn’t figure out what the alpha was thinking.

  1. what plan? were they gonna try to pull a Fake Boyfriend Shield trope on Moon Kyung Sik?? I’m with SCY here, Yoo YiSeo was Very Annoying here. you’d have thought he’d know how to choose his timing better, smh…. Thank you for the chapter!!!!!

  2. At this point, I just want all of them to leave our MC alone and for him to farm and maybe find someone completely new too 😭😤

  3. MC is correct in that he has enough capital to live comfortably…
As a chaebol, he would probably be better off
    1) kicking all the gongs out and if they refuse to leave, call the policy or private security to escort them out
    2) reinforce it by lawyering up and putting restraining orders on all of them
    3) to make sure they don’t bother him again, paying for counselling for all of them…

It is a bit of money, but he can afford it! And then he would be free to live his happy, blissful life farming… but we wouldn’t have a story!
