The Sweet Alpha Crown Prince Loves Me So Much Chapter 147
Chapter 147
When the holy water from Daniel’s fingertips touched Leia Lindbergh’s forehead, Carl Lindbergh watched, his mouth agape, as her face was colored with a hue entirely different from before.
Leia’s hair gradually shortened, now swaying just above her shoulders.
The outfit she wore was separated into a top and a skirt, with the back of the top trailing long like a tailcoat, the end just barely touching the floor.
When she knelt on one knee with a precise movement, the trailing garment fluttered and spread out on the floor.
And then, Daniel held her crown high.
Wow.
The twenty magic stones embedded in it were initially transparent, but the moment the crown was placed on Leia’s head, they shone with five colors before quieting down.
Everyone swallowed hard, watching her slowly rise.
As the top fluttered, the hilt of the sword at her waist was revealed before quickly being hidden again.
The dress, the sword, and her crown seemed to explain her entire life—a woman, an Alpha, and at the same time, a princess who had become a Princess-Regnant.
Her beautiful face showed an unprecedentedly resolute will.
Leia left the priests’ hymn behind and sat on the throne.
Just then, a wind carrying a load of flower petals blew from somewhere, scattered them near her, and disappeared.
Someone started clapping, and it soon spread to everyone, the sound filling the hall.
After the applause stopped and the priests filed out, the orchestra began to play cheerful music again, livening up the atmosphere.
Leia Lindbergh, amidst the sea of people who had come to greet her, looked up at an angle.
In the place where her eyes could reach best stood Belfry, and he, with teary eyes, nodded at her.

As Carl felt the corners of his mouth, which were gradually going numb, Adrian grabbed him and they slipped out of the banquet hall together.
In the rear garden, where access was strictly forbidden to anyone other than Adrian, Carl, Leia, and Belfry, Carl stretched out with a long yawn.
“I didn’t know, being a half-baked royal, but I’ve come to realize anew that reigning over others isn’t just a good thing.”
Why were there so many people to greet?
It was no ordinary task to exchange greetings with them and add short personal talks, all while subtly grasping the political trends hidden within and what they wanted from the Empire.
“I have a newfound respect for everyone. The two Majesties, Belfry, and my sister, not to mention.”
As Carl gave a thumbs-up with a kuh, Adrian brought his face close to his and asked, “And me?”
“Do I really have to say it in words?” Carl said teasingly to Adrian, who had a face full of discontent, and then smirked, wrapping his arms around his neck.
“Adrian is handsome every day. Always respectable, and also lovely.”
Carl Lindbergh was now uninhibited in expressing his affection.
Adrian’s infinite affection offensive had become fertilizer, and Carl Lindbergh had stopped hesitating and begun to adopt an active attitude to make love bloom.
“Of course.”
Adrian abruptly hugged Carl and planted kisses all over his cheek.
“I finally get to kiss you here.”
After nibbling on his soft cheek, he slyly brought his tongue to his lips.
As Carl responded with pleasure and parted his lips, a tongue slipped past his teeth and greedily licked the roof of his mouth.
Adrian, who had been getting worked up by the fragrance wafting from Carl’s nape, laid him down on the cushion and began to kiss him in earnest.
“Haa.”
At the sound of Carl’s breathless sigh, Adrian, without realizing it, lifted Carl’s shirt and was about to slide his fingers in when Belfry appeared, clicking his tongue openly.
“Ah, excuse me. Please restrain yourselves in someone else’s rear garden.”
Belfry ground his teeth.
Putting aside his long-over unrequited love, his brother-like Adrian’s blatant display of affection was just too much to watch.
“Ah, s-sorry.”
Carl, unable to hide his embarrassment, straightened his clothes and stood up awkwardly.
Adrian clicked his tongue with a tch, but stuck close to Carl and didn’t move away.
‘Wow, damn. I almost did it outside.’
When Adrian’s hot palm had caressed his bare skin, Carl, who had unwittingly thought of going all the way, covered his face with his hands.
Belfry plopped down on the patio where the two had been lying and glared at Adrian.
“I know you two are getting along well, but you should be mindful of the place. You were whispering and fiddling with each other’s hands throughout the entire coronation. I saw it all from the opposite side.”
Carl’s face flushed as red as it could be.
“What’s wrong with that? We’re newlyweds.”
Adrian acted as if he were listening to some dog bark and cleaned his ear.
Belfry, even more angered by that sight, pointed a finger at Adrian without hesitation.
“You’ll be sticking together to your heart’s content starting tomorrow anyway, so why are you showing off that you’re newlyweds here? And strictly speaking, you two are not newlyweds, but dating! Just because it’s officially recognized, does that mean your displays of affection need to be officially recognized too?”
Belfry, with veins popping in his neck, couldn’t shut his mouth, as if he had a lot pent up.
At Belfry’s reaction, Carl, who had been hesitating for a long time, offered an apology.
“Belfry, I’m sorry.”
“No, Your Highness, you have no need to apologize to me. This person, who pounces at the drop of a hat and spouts greasy words, is the problem.”
Belfry fumed and gave Adrian a disrespectful look, but the person in question didn’t bat an eye.
Instead, Carl, caught in the middle, fidgeted and tried to soothe Belfry.
“No, well, I enjoyed it too, so…”
“Ah, I get it. You’re angry now, aren’t you?”
Adrian cut Carl off mid-sentence and grinned at Belfry, baring his teeth.
“Because we weren’t focusing on the Princess-Regnant’s coronation. Right?”
At the out-of-the-blue remark, Carl tilted his head, and this time, Belfry’s face flushed beet red.
“N-No, that’s not it. It’s just, there are many subordinates around, and you were just…”
Adrian gently squeezed the hand of Carl, who was even more bewildered by the suspiciously flustered Belfry, to calm him down, and chuckled.
“I wondered why you were glaring at me so fiercely. What is it? Are you now openly showing off that she’s your Alpha?”
“Is that what it is? You said you weren’t dating. Have you already given her your heart?”
It was a bullseye.
Belfry, who couldn’t take his eyes off the undeniably cool, beautiful, and all-around perfect Leia Lindbergh, suddenly noticed the two people in the box seat opposite him, busy being lovey-dovey.
In that moment, Belfry’s mind overheated.
Instead of being moved by the Princess-Regnant’s magnificent appearance, how dare they spread honey all over the sacred coronation?
But no matter how hard he glared at them, Adrian and Carl didn’t give him a single glance.
That, again, was strangely disappointing, and he was envious.
Belfry also wanted to share body heat with someone, to be close and share affection.
And when his eyes met Leia’s, he was certain that the person he wanted was Leia Lindbergh, and his eyes welled up with tears.
So, after a moderately busy time, he had come out to get some fresh air, only to find this sickeningly well-matched couple at it again here.
No, there were dozens of soldiers guarding this place, and a dozen or so servants on standby, ready to rush over if needed.
Why do I have to come all this way to see that spectacle, ugh!
He would have normally just left the place, but Belfry, his irritation soaring, couldn’t hold back without saying a word.
In the end, though, he didn’t even get his principal back and was caught by the con artist couple—no, the teasing couple.
“I welcome the relationship between you two with open arms. You look so good together. It’s not just the external aspects, but your passion for knowledge and the political sense you inherited from your father seem to resemble Sister Leia’s!”
At the words of Carl Lindbergh, who seemed more excited than the person concerned, Belfry scratched his head and said, “I-Is that so?”
Carl, thinking this was his chance, pushed Belfry’s back hard.
He listed Leia’s strengths one by one and praised Belfry. And everything concluded with the two of them being a well-matched pair.
He could have just snorted and turned away, but Belfry wanted to hear more.
There were practically no obstacles between him and Leia Lindbergh. He had already given his heart. It was just that the twenty years he had lived in a state of ‘Dating? Is that something you eat?’ kept chipping away at Belfry’s confidence.
Adrian, who read something in Belfry’s expression, pulled Carl by the wrist and naturally sat him on his lap.
He didn’t forget to whisper in his ear, “My thigh is cold without you.”
Cold thighs in the middle of summer, my ass.
Carl Lindbergh, startled by those words, was meekly warming Adrian’s thigh, and His Highness Adrian had always had a slick side, but how did even His Highness the Prince end up like this?
Belfry thought it would be better to be tormented by foreign nobles and watch Leia’s face from afar.
Just as Belfry was pressing his forehead and thinking about whether to go back to the banquet hall or not, Adrian spoke in a serious tone, his playfulness gone.
“The first heat, it came and went, right?”
Belfry nodded.
“How was it?”
Adrian asked again. Belfry frowned.
How was it?
“It was an experience I never want to go through again.”
The sensation of not being in his own body. Crying and trembling at the slightest touch of the sheets. Resenting the Alpha who wasn’t there, the feeling of wanting to grab anyone and beg them to quench his thirst.
He had no idea how much self-loathing he had suffered after using the magic stone with suppressive effects.
It was because for a brief moment, he had thought anyone would do, which made him feel like a person who sold their body.
As if wanting not just one person, but any unspecified Alpha.
Carl, who knew that feeling, cast a worried glance.
Carl’s first heat had been mild, and thankfully, Adrian had been there. Since then, it seemed a full-blown heat had not yet come.
It was just that every moment he spent with Adrian was as hot and intense as a heat, and when Adrian’s rut came, Carl also experienced a pseudo-heat, as if a screw had come loose.
Even he, who had spent dozens of nights with his mate, still found it unfamiliar every time he experienced it. He could only imagine how it was for Belfry.
Having lived his whole life as a Beta, and as a high-ranking noble, Belfry’s pain must have been two or three times greater than others.
Adrian sensed Carl’s worry for Belfry through the pheromones flowing from him.
“You know well how painful it is for a person with a secondary gender, not a Beta, and a dominant one at that, to spend that long time alone.”
It was a matter of course. Having been close to Adrian, Belfry had witnessed his pain firsthand.
Looking back on that time, he always felt gratitude towards Carl Lindbergh. That’s how much Adrian had suffered.
Belfry lowered his head, and Adrian, thinking this was his chance, spoke forcefully.
“If you are certain of your heart, do not delay. It might have been a big deal for you to endure one heat, but you must know that the Princess-Regnant has been enduring her ruts alone for over ten years now. I am certain she will continue to wait until you are ready.”
An Alpha’s rut, as painful as an Omega’s heat.
It was a sweet process for the two to become one, but humans were different from beasts. Until they fell in love with someone, they had to handle it on their own, and that was just pain.
That’s right. That’s right.
It felt as if a light flashed before Belfry’s eyes.
Leia’s patience was deeper and stronger than Belfry thought.
He didn’t want to make her suffer anymore.
Belfry bowed his head to Adrian.
“Thank you for making me realize.”
And then, as they watched the back of Belfry running off in a hurry, Adrian and Carl smiled with satisfaction.
A lazy cat who wants her honied indolence back.
