Correction Chapter 27

Author: nicotine

“Ugh… I can’t stand it.”

The classmate sitting behind Jungmin muttered and slid over to sit next to him. It was understandable, as Youngmin and the club president, Hojun sunbae, were engaged in heavy PDA right there.

If even one of them had any sense, they wouldn’t be doing this on the bus to a retreat. It was frustrating, whether they were birds of a feather or if they were both so clueless that they mistook this retreat for that kind of retreat.

Several of Hojun sunbae’s classmates had warned them, but they were so defiant that everyone had given up. Jungmin felt inexplicably apologetic and didn’t know what to do. He was incredibly relieved that Shinwoo was on a different bus.

Jungmin apologized to his classmate and got up, heading towards the source of the problem. Needless to say, he received looks of respect and gratitude from others sitting along the way. It was like they were looking at a war hero.

As soon as Jungmin stood in front of them, he made a knocking gesture towards the two. Youngmin, who had been nuzzling Hojun sunbae’s neck, glared at Jungmin with an annoyed look.

Jungmin smiled and mouthed “tone it down,” but Youngmin scoffed and, as if to spite him, intensified their actions.

“Honey, why are you so sweet today? Hmm?”

Hojun joined in on Youngmin’s actions. It made Jungmin want to vomit. He felt like he was going to get motion sickness even though he hadn’t before.

“Why do you think? Hmm? Because I’m with sunbae~”

“Aw~ you’re so cute. You’re going to die tonight. Got it?”

What is this, some cheesy 80s line? If it weren’t for the sunbae, he would have smacked him upside the head and told him to get a grip, but he couldn’t do that either.

Fine, I’ll make sure you’re so worn out tonight you feel like you died. Jungmin gritted his teeth. Then, suddenly, he felt a sweet pheromone and the hair on his body stood on end. With a sense of foreboding, he looked at Youngmin.

Surely… even though Youngmin is airheaded, he wouldn’t come to the retreat without taking suppressants during his heat cycle, right? Thinking he was being too sensitive, Jungmin took a deep breath, trying to calm his unease.

Normally, people who share the same blood aren’t affected by each other’s secondary genders and can’t smell each other’s pheromones, but perhaps because they were twins, Youngmin and Jungmin could sense each other’s.

Of course, they weren’t sexually affected by each other at all, rather they felt repulsed.

Just then, the bus suddenly stopped.

“What happened?”

Jungmin quickly went to the front and asked the driver.

“It looks like there’s a problem with the bus in front.”

As the driver said, the bus ahead was stopped on the shoulder of the road.

The driver of the other bus, with a troubled look, was inspecting the tires with a few students.

It must be a serious problem. Jungmin got off the bus.

“Driver, what’s wrong?”

“We have a flat tire. I don’t think we can drive like this.”

They were already halfway to their destination, and since it wasn’t a highway but a national road, even if they called for help, they would have to wait for over an hour.

Unable to just wait, Jungmin thought for a moment and then went back inside the bus to ask the president, but gave up on asking when he saw the president and Youngmin still in their unsightly state. He went back outside.

“Jungmin.”

Instead, Shinwoo approached Jungmin. And behind him was Kim Joohwan.

“The driver said it’ll take a few hours, so you guys go ahead.”

“No, hyung. Why don’t we all ride on our bus? We have some extra seats. We can tell the driver to come after changing the tire.”

The driver readily agreed with Jungmin’s suggestion. Since it would be uncomfortable and nerve-wracking for the students to just wait here, this seemed like the best solution for everyone.

“The younger ones can stand, and the sunbaes can sit.”

“Hey hey, what are you saying?”

“Jungmin~ that hurts!”

The sunbaes getting off the broken bus made sad faces at Jungmin’s words. After moving the frozen luggage that needed to be unpacked immediately, Jungmin boarded the bus. The atmosphere inside was somewhat subdued.

What happened again?

Jungmin poked his head in and saw that the people who had just entered were staring blankly at Youngmin and the president’s lovey-dovey act, speechless.

Shinwoo was among them.

‘This is crazy.’

It couldn’t get any worse. Youngmin wouldn’t care about Shinwoo’s gaze, and he couldn’t chase Shinwoo away. It was literally the worst.

He glanced at Shinwoo and saw that his face was stiff. His complexion seemed to be getting paler. Moreover, noticing something amiss in Shinwoo’s grip on the armrest, Jungmin approached.

“Sunbaes! Please sit in the empty seats! Juniors, let’s give up our seats for the sunbaes.”

He quickly organized the seats and ushered the sunbaes into the seats vacated by the juniors. Even in the midst of the chaos, Shinwoo didn’t budge. Jungmin, still concerned, nudged Shinwoo’s side.

“Hyung, what’s wrong? Are you carsick?”

Actually, he wasn’t unaware of the reason for Shinwoo’s state. Still, he asked just in case… just in case he was sick.

“…No.”

He lowered his head. Ah, it was because of Youngmin after all. Hyung still hadn’t moved on.

He knew. He knew, but he had been trying to ignore it, and now it felt like he was getting confirmation, leaving him feeling complicated. Without even having time to think about sorting out his own feelings, Jungmin quickly attended to Shinwoo.

“Hyung, sit here quickly.”

Jungmin tried to get Shinwoo to sit in the front seat where he had been sitting. Normally, Shinwoo would vehemently refuse due to his personality, but as if he were out of it, he let Jungmin lead him to the seat.

“…Jungmin.”

Shinwoo suddenly raised his lowered head and called Jungmin.

“Huh? Why?”

“That… Young… Ah, never mind. I must be mistaken.”

Shinwoo closed his eyes and leaned back against the seat.

“Get some sleep. I’ll wake you when we arrive.”

Jungmin asked his classmate next to him for understanding and had another sunbae sit there. Even so, Jungmin couldn’t leave the spot and continued to look anxiously at the sleeping Shinwoo.

After driving for another two hours, they arrived at the retreat location. Perhaps because they arrived later than expected, the villagers all came out to greet them. Hearing the villagers say they were worried that something else had gone wrong with the bus, all the hardships of the journey were forgotten. However, they had to unpack their luggage and help the villagers without rest. The sun seemed like it would set soon, so they had to hurry.

“Huh?”

While moving luggage and bustling around, he saw Shinwoo and Youngmin behind a tree in the distance. Shinwoo was holding Youngmin’s wrist and saying something, and Youngmin’s expression wasn’t good either.

Jungmin watched them, then decided he couldn’t leave it like that. He quickly put down the luggage he was carrying and approached them. Just then, Youngmin brushed past Jungmin, flinging Shinwoo’s hand away and fuming. What was he so angry about?

Shinwoo’s expression was grim.

“Shinwoo hyung, what’s wrong? What happened with Youngmin?”

“…Jungmin, keep an eye on Youngmin. Stay by his side. You.”

“Huh? Why me? Hojun sunbae is there.”

“That’s the problem.”

“Why?”

“He’s in heat.”

“What?”

“I thought he didn’t bring his suppressants, so I got some from another Omega junior and gave them to him, but he said he came here intentionally without taking them.”

Shinwoo said, kicking a white pill rolling around his feet.

Crazy… Shin Youngmin, you’ve finally lost it! The pheromones he felt on the bus weren’t a mistake!

“You watch him. Something could happen if you don’t.”

Shinwoo handed Jungmin the remaining pills. He didn’t understand why Shinwoo looked so distressed when Youngmin was the one causing trouble. That guy never helped till the end.

Jungmin told Shinwoo, who looked like he was about to cry, that he understood and quickly followed Youngmin. Sure enough, Youngmin was clinging to Hojun sunbae, rubbing against him. Judging by his actions, Hojun seemed to have noticed that Youngmin was in heat.

The cheesy line about “dying tonight” wasn’t empty talk. Feeling a sense of foreboding that something would really happen, Jungmin approached Youngmin.

“Shin Youngmin.”

“What?”

“Take this.”

“What?”

Youngmin gave a hollow laugh at the pill Jungmin offered and turned his head away.

“I already took it.”

Liar.

“Then take one more. It’s a weak one, so you can take one more.”

“Why do you keep doing this? It’s annoying!”

“Take it when I tell you to. Before I call Mom.”

“So annoying!”

Youngmin swallowed the pill from Jungmin, stuck his tongue out at him, and then clung tightly to the sunbae’s arm.

He didn’t know what Youngmin was thinking. No, it had been a long time since he could understand his thoughts, so he just hoped it wouldn’t cause him any trouble.

“Happy now? Now don’t bother us.”

“I don’t want to bother you either. Hojun sunbae.”

“Huh? Why, Jungmin?”

Hojun sunbae didn’t seem to grasp the gravity of the situation. He smiled annoyingly and looked at Youngmin.

If I hadn’t given Shin Youngmin that pill, you would have become a father.

“Sunbae, we need to work in the fields now. Leave Youngmin and come to the fields. Okay?”

He wanted to say that Hojun should fulfill his duties as president, but Jungmin held back, thinking it would only lead to a fight and worsen the atmosphere.

He could only hope that tonight would pass without incident. Jungmin texted Shinwoo, who was worried, that he had given Youngmin the pill, and sighed deeply. He wanted to go and lose himself in work.
