“Where is it?”

Since this was their first dungeon as Hunters, An Bom and Gumiho looked worried and hurried over to the chair where I was sitting.

“It’s a B-rank dungeon in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province.”

I set down the dungeon strategy request form I’d been holding and turned on the computer.

My former boss, a low-ranking Hunter who used to run a convenience store, had good connections, so despite his low rank, he only ever went to A-rank or higher dungeons. That’s why I knew nothing about this B-rank dungeon.

I entered the address into the Hunter Association’s dungeon information system. Along with the label Normal Rank, detailed information about the dungeon appeared.

“It’s a Rabbit Dungeon.”

“A Rabbit Dungeon?”

“Are the mobs rabbits?”

The two women’s eyes went wide. Clearly, they had no idea what kind of dungeon it really was.

I clicked on the photo section in the details.

“This can’t be real…”

The rabbit in the photo looked nothing like the cute, tiny animal An Bom and Gumiho had imagined.

It had teeth as big as the guild office window, a vicious glare, and a hulking body.

Below the photo, information about the rabbit was written in bold red text:

[Rabbit (B-rank Monster)]

  • Habitat: B-rank Rabbit Field, Anseong, Gyeonggi Province
  • Characteristics: 240 cm body length, red eyes, enormous teeth. Can leap up to 3 meters in a single bound. Claws coated with lethal poison—death occurs within 5 minutes if scratched.

(※ No antidote has been developed yet.)

  • Main Attack Method: Powerful forepaw strikes (estimated force ~3T)
  • Resistances: Resistant to lightning attacks.

※ Unlike normal rabbits, also believed to be resistant to water attacks.

The guild office fell silent.

Seeing An Bom and Gumiho’s faces turn completely pale, I closed both the photo and the dungeon information window.

“…We can survive this, right?”

“Yes. Don’t worry.”

“Really?”

“Yes. An Bom, just stick close to me and focus on healing.”

To officially earn the guildmaster title, you needed at least one successful dungeon clear on record.

In that sense, this B-rank dungeon was the perfect target.

Since I had already cleared A-rank dungeons before, and with An Bom as a healer, we wouldn’t have much trouble.

“W-When are we going?”

“The sooner, the better. Today.”

“What?!”

“You know the saying—strike while the iron is hot. We need to wrap this up quickly. Once we get the official guild license, we can start recruiting more members.”

An Bom’s pupils trembled.

“Then get ready and come downstairs. If we hurry, we could have the guildmaster title by this afternoon.”

“Are you sure it’s okay?”

“Trust me. When have I ever lied?”

Holding Gumiho’s hand, An Bom stared at me for a moment, then nodded with determination.

“I’ll be right down.”

“Okay.”

An Bom let go of Gumiho’s hand and left the office stiffly, with Gumiho following right behind.

I walked over to the cabinet in the corner of the guildmaster’s office.

Inside were the C-rank items I’d obtained from the Ant Nest dungeon. I took out a jacket and shoes made from monster hide for An Bom, along with C-rank accessories like a ring and a hairpin, and slipped my dagger into my pocket.

“This should do.”

After preparing the gear, I sank into the sofa in the middle of the office.

The sofa cradled my body in comfort, its frame and cushions crafted from premium dungeon byproducts, making me feel drowsy.

‘But… this dungeon feels familiar somehow.’

Rabbit Dungeon.

Rabbit Dungeon.

B-rank Rabbit Dungeon…

“Oh, that’s right!”

I shot up from the sofa, returned to the desk, and searched the dungeon again.

This time, I went straight to the Byproducts section in the details.

[Dungeon Byproducts]

  • Rabbit teeth, rabbit hide, rabbit claws…

‘This isn’t it.’

Since it was a material-type dungeon, I scrolled through the endless list of loot. Finally, when I reached the last entry, I couldn’t help but grin.

“A four-leaf clover.”

‘They say a four-leaf clover is a symbol of luck… who would’ve thought it actually is?’

I could almost hear my former boss’s grumbling voice in my head.

After reincarnating, my fate really had turned into one of sudden fortune.

I never imagined a government-designated dungeon would turn out to be a B-rank Rabbit Dungeon.

“I’m ready.”

An Bom entered the room with a solemn expression, and I handed her the armor I’d taken from the cabinet.

“You probably won’t get hurt, but just in case, all of this gear boosts poison resistance and defense. It’s C-rank for now, but I’ll get you better equipment later. Use this in the meantime.”

“…Guildmaster.”

“A healer is precious, after all.”

Her eyes lit up with gratitude. She put on the armor and clenched her fists.

“I’ll do my best to heal!”

“That’s the right attitude.”

“But Guildmaster, aren’t you wearing any armor?”

“No. I don’t need it. Well then, Gumiho, we’re heading out.”

“Guildmaster, please take care! Bom, be safe!”

After a heartfelt hug from Gumiho, An Bom followed me out of the guild building.

The strategy was already set. Passing through Myeongdong—now mostly empty since the appearance of A-rank dungeons—we hailed a taxi bound for Ansan.

Seeing her grow paler the closer we got, I asked, “Are you okay?” She swallowed hard and nodded.

“We’re here.”

When we stepped out of the taxi, a tower-like building loomed ahead. To keep civilians out, the area had been walled off after the dungeon’s discovery, and each guild stationed sentries outside like guard posts.

Their job was to alert their guild if civilians or unauthorized Hunters approached, so the task usually went to low-ranking Hunters.

I approached a Hunter registered as a government official. He looked up from the paperwork he’d been filling out.

“Are you from the Yeon Guild?”

“Yes.”

He nodded and pointed toward the door.

“Go inside—you’ll see the gate.”

“Thank you.”

I led the tense-looking An Bom into the tower.

Through the transparent gate, it was clear no one had entered yet.

“We’re going in.”

“Yes.”

We stepped onto the gate, and a brilliant flash lit up before disappearing.

* * *

When my eyes adjusted to the light, a wide plain stretched out before us, dotted with grass and clusters of dense shrubs.

☆ Dungeon is a dungeon. Lord of Dungeons has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆

Another dungeon, another adventure! Fun! Exciting! Thrilling!

“From now on, stay close to me.”

“W-what about healing?”

“Only when I ask for it.”

“Y-yes.”

With the clearly nervous An Bom trailing behind, I moved forward slowly.

A sudden rustling in the bushes—and a small white rabbit hopped out.

“…A rabbit.”

An Bom spoke, and the creature stopped in front of us, blocking the path.

“Is that… a monster?”

She grabbed the hem of my T-shirt. I didn’t answer. Instead, I kept my eyes on the rabbit and stirred the air with my hand.

A breeze rolled across the plain, strong enough to make its ears twitch. The rabbit tilted its head, puzzled.

Then its red eyes flashed—and its body began to grow.

“Don’t let go.”

“Huh? O-okay!”

The grip on my shirt tightened.

The rabbit quickly grew larger than me, reaching the size of a queen ant monster.

The harmless, fluffy creature was gone—replaced by a feral beast radiating pure menace.

“Kii!!!”

Why do they always start with that ear-splitting scream?

I clicked my tongue and poured more power into the wind.

☆ Power of the Wind! has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆

Once again, the wind swept through the dungeon—whoooosh!

In the blink of an eye, the gentle breeze became a hurricane.

I felt the rabbit flinch, as if it could sense my killing intent in the wind.

‘Doesn’t matter.’

The hurricane, now as large as the rabbit monster, swept over it in an instant.

☆ Eha! has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆

But why isn’t it being shredded like last time?

This time, I wasn’t alone—An Bom was with me, and I intended to make clothes from its hide, so I couldn’t rip it to pieces.

“…The wind…”

“I told you not to worry.”

The rabbit-monster was flung about by the hurricane. Its high-pitched scream echoed as I snapped my fingers.

At my command, the hurricane twisted, tearing its neck in two—lower half spinning right, upper half left. It thrashed violently, as if sensing its doom.

‘It’s divine power—what can a monster do?’

As expected, the spasms didn’t last long. With a sharp crack, its neck twisted the other way, and the body went limp, collapsing to the ground.

“…Is it over?”

“Yes.”

I waved my hand, dispersing the wind, and held out my palm to An Bom.

“Heal, please.”

“Are you hurt?”

“I’m F-rank. Using my power makes my body ache.”

“Oh… right!”

An Bom took my hand in both of hers, closed her eyes, and murmured under her breath. A gentle warmth spread from my fingertips, flowing through my entire body in an instant.

There were no injuries or visible wounds, so I couldn’t tell how much it had healed—but I felt a surge of vitality.

Leaving An Bom to rest after the spell, I pulled a dagger from my pocket and walked over to the rabbit’s corpse.

“I’m going to skin it. If you don’t want to see, turn around.”

“Oh, that’s fine.”

From the way she looked, I had assumed she’d be squeamish about gore. Guess not.

I shrugged, unsheathed the dagger, and sliced clean through the neck before peeling away the hide and storing it in my inventory.

Rabbit hide clothing could adjust to fit the wearer’s build—whether larger or smaller—making it especially popular with Hunters whose bodies transformed. The demand wasn’t huge, but it was steady, and the price was decent.

“Let’s go.”

“…Okay.”

I tossed the skinned carcass into the thicket and moved on. An Bom tugged at my shirt from behind, but I ignored it.

Unlike the A-rank Ant Nest dungeon—where monsters came endlessly—this B-rank Rabbit Dungeon was almost eerily quiet.

Every so often, a rabbit would leap from the thickets, swelling in size just like before. Once I learned the trick, dispatching them was quick and easy.

Eventually, I didn’t even bother dispelling the hurricane completely—just clearing enough space so An Bom wouldn’t get caught in it—and we moved forward together.

“Didn’t you say you were F-rank, Guildmaster?”

An Bom now walked beside me instead of clinging to my shirt, her fear apparently gone.

“Yes, I’m F-rank.”

“Then how can you use wind like that?”

“But my body aches afterward, remember?”

She seemed convinced, especially after watching me receive healing every time I killed a monster.

By the time we were done, we had collected ten hides in total.

It was a comforting feeling—but something far more important soon appeared before us.

“A clover field.”

“An Bom, now we have to do the most important thing.”

“What is it?”

“Please find a four-leaf clover here.”

☆ Clover? has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆

Why search for a four-leaf clover? Could something be hidden there?
