The Only Woman in a Zombie Apocalypse Vol. 1 Chapter 16 - It Wasn’t Supposed to be a 19+ novel (1)

Dayoung wrote the same note on three scraps of paper and hid them in different places.

One in the wallet inside the bag she originally had, one in the desk drawer, and another in the underwear drawer.

She had even considered keeping one on her person just in case, but since that would be the easiest spot for her companions to notice, Dayoung had no choice but to hide them in various places around the room.

After hiding notes all over the room, Dayoung felt oddly proud of herself.

Trying to calm her racing heart, she pulled out two sets of slips from the drawer and placed them on the bed, staring at them. Since she was the only woman here, the underground lingerie store had become hers.

Laundry had to be done in bulk, so while she was downstairs to grab some underwear, she stumbled upon a set of slips tucked away in a corner.

Dayoung quietly unfolded one and immediately took it with her.

It wasn’t an ordinary slip—it was a sexy one. The kind of lingerie she had never dared to wear in real life. She could’ve just bought it casually, but she couldn’t bring herself to.

There was no one to wear it for, and for some reason, she felt too embarrassed to purchase something like this.

It wasn’t like anyone would know, though.

It was the kind of risqué slip she had only ever browsed online. Dayoung gulped and changed into the white slip and a T-back thong. It definitely looked like something sold in an adult store.

Standing in front of the mirror, she admired her reflection.

Even though it was her own body, it looked downright scandalous.

The hem fell just below her hips, barely covering anything. The top was made of sheer mesh, fully exposing her nipples, and since it tied under the bust, the slip gaped open below her chest, revealing her navel and skin.

The fabric was practically see-through anyway, leaving little to the imagination.

And the panties—how could they be so indecent?

They were a T-back thong, barely covering the essential parts. It was her first time wearing something like this. The front was just a thin strip of fabric, and if she got even slightly aroused, any moisture would likely just trickle down her thighs.

“How could anyone wear something like this out?”

She remembered reading online that wearing lingerie at home was comfortable. Dayoung twirled in front of the mirror, admiring herself, then changed into black.

Black looked sexier than white—it accentuated her full chest and narrow waist.

“This is amazing. So hot!”

She neatly folded the white slip into the drawer and spun in front of the mirror again. The black made her fair skin glow even brighter.

Tying the ribbon between her cleavage made her ample chest naturally form a deep valley. The black string between her firm, white buttocks reminded her of something she’d seen in adult videos.

Giggling as she squeezed her own breasts, she almost looked like a pervert.

“Calm down, Kim Dayoung. No matter how sexy, it’s still your own body. Whoa.”

She swayed side to side, admiring herself in the mirror.

Just for fun, she let her hair down, letting it flow, then tied it up again, enjoying the way it exposed her neckline.

“Too bad there’s no one to show this off to. Kim Dayoung—whether in real life or here. Ugh.”

Despite her words, she hummed a tune and happily flopped onto the bed.

Even though she was wearing lingerie, the sheets against her skin made her feel almost naked. She’d heard sleeping in the nude was amazing.

Maybe I should try it sometime?

Laughing to herself, she lay there—until Minho’s voice came from outside the curtain.

“Dayoung, we’re heading down for drinks. Wanna come?”

“Yeah! I’ll be right there!”

“Let’s go together.”

“Just a sec!”

At Minho’s suggestion, she hastily threw on an oversized T-shirt and shorts over her slip and left the room. It almost felt like she was wearing nothing underneath, but she played it cool as she followed him to the bar.

Down in the basement, the rest of the group—with nothing better to do—were scattered around, already drinking.

As Dayoung entered, the group raised their hands in greeting, and she waved back before sitting between Dohun and Minho, pouring beer into a glass.

With new ingredients available, the side dishes had changed, and they tasted great.

Is this what it feels like to get drunk on alcohol and the atmosphere?

She had planned to drink just one glass, but swept up in the mood, Dayoung ended up having three.

Still, her mind felt clear as she poured another beer and nibbled on a snack.

Then, Dohun, sitting beside her, spoke to Minho, “Minho-hyung, wanna play a board game while drinking?”

“A board game?”

“Yeah. What do you think, Dayoung noona? Let’s drink and play a board game. Huh?”

“Huh? Oh!”

Dohun, who usually didn’t drink much, was coaxing Minho, who also wasn’t a heavy drinker.

The two stood up, and Dayoung, sipping beer next to Minho, downed the rest of her drink in one go before following them.

Along with Dohun, Minho, and Dayoung, Woomin—holding a beer can—headed to the third floor.

The manga café had a variety of simple board games, as well as favorites the group had brought from the first-floor shop, all neatly displayed. The four sat around a small table.

Dayoung cracked open a beer can, gulped it down, and spoke, “What should we play?”

“How about Halli Galli for a warm-up?”

“I’m really good at this one!” Dayoung declared proudly.

It was a game she often played with friends at home, and she could count her losses on one hand. Though usually teased for being slow, when it came to ringing the bell, she was lightning-fast.

As Woomin took out Halli Galli and shuffled the cards, Dohun asked, “What’s the penalty?”

“Strip?”

“Hyung, Dayoung noona’s here too.”

“Oh, right. Force of habit. Then… knuckle flicks?”

Before Dayoung arrived, since there was no one to scold them for running around completely naked, they frequently ended up stripping as a penalty.

The one who got fully naked had to do a lap around the mall as punishment.

Penalties involving hitting each other were forbidden—emotions could flare up too easily. Without thinking, Woo-min suggested a flick on the forehead instead.

But Dayoung, already drunk and swept up in the mood, stopped them. No matter how she looked at it, this penalty was a stroke of luck for her.

Getting to see three grown men strip naked?

Her cheeks flushed red, and the thought of the three of them stripping completely made her face burn even hotter.

In Dayoung’s mind, there was no scenario where she would lose.

“Heh. What’s with you guys? I’m good at this, you know? Strip penalty—let’s go!! I’m gonna take everything off you guys, down to your underwear!! Just you wait!”

The ones flustered by Dayoung’s outburst weren’t her—it was the three men staring at her. They tried to dissuade her, saying she must be drunk, but Dayoung wasn’t listening.

“Alright, spin it!”

“Ugh, hyung, why’d you have to suggest such a weird penalty?”

“I didn’t know Dayoung would be like this!”

Dohun shot Woo-min a disapproving look over Dayoung’s boldness.

Right now, they were all laughing and having fun, but what about when they sobered up? It was easy to imagine how embarrassed she’d be.

But Woo-min felt wronged.

Sure, he’d spoken without thinking, but he never expected Dayoung to go this far.

“Dayoung, are you really okay? You seem drunk right now.”

“No? I’m not drunk. I’m speaking perfectly clearly.”

“Well, that’s true, but…”

“What’s life anyway? You only live once—why overthink it? Right?”

At Kim Dayoung’s clear and deliberate words, the three men subtly nodded.

If they stripped, they could show off their masculinity to Dayoung—and if she stripped, that would be pure luck.

Either way, since they were already fooling around in their underwear at the pool, they had nothing to lose.

“No take-backs, right?”

“Of course not. Just spin it already!”

At Dayoung’s shout, Woomin began shuffling and dealing the cards.

A strange tension spread among the four as they played Halli Galli. Every time a card was flipped, Dohun found it both ridiculous and hilarious how they all flinched.

Anyone watching would’ve thought their lives depended on it—they were that serious.

Dayoung’s bold confidence was real.

Like a ghost, she rang the bell three times in a row, winning consecutively.

The three men, who each lost once, had to take off their shirts. Dayoung stole glances at their toned upper bodies.

See? I told you I wouldn’t lose. Today’s a feast for the eyes!!

Her smug grin only fueled the men’s competitive spirits.

“This is taking too long. Let’s switch games.”

“Should we? How about Jenga?”

“Deal!”

Halli Galli took longer than expected per round, so they switched to Jenga for quicker punishments.

Determined, the three men pretended to mess up, deliberately toppling the tower—though it wasn’t like they could actually make Dayoung strip. But once all three were down to their underwear, they couldn’t afford to fake mistakes anymore.

Human psychology is weird…

Dayoung couldn’t understand why her eyes kept drifting toward their underwear. She imagined what was hidden beneath.

Do normal people think like this?

Her hands trembled as the thoughts kept surfacing, and eventually, the Jenga tower collapsed.

After some hesitation, she decided to take off her pants. Her oversized top reached past her hips, so it would cover enough to feel less exposed.

As she stood up to remove her pants, it suddenly hit her—she was wearing a sexy slip with panties underneath.

After a brief internal struggle, Dayoung finally admitted to herself that she was a pervert. Not because she debated whether to strip, but because she was thinking about how to strip.
