Before the guerrilla fan meeting, a planning meeting.

“Three hundred people?!”

The PD mentioned the plan to gather three hundred people, then casually adjusted his glasses like it was no big deal.

Last time, we’d gathered three hundred fans through advance announcement and ticketing.

“I-is that even possible?”

Could we really get three hundred people on the day of, with zero promotion?

Plus, the fan meeting was scheduled for a weekday of all times.

The PD continued speaking like it was nothing.

“Don’t worry too much. We’ll build interest by promoting the program in advance. Plus we’ll generate curiosity about the first guest.”

Hearing that, I nodded skeptically.

Seeing my face, the PD shrugged and offered a reasonable compromise.

“If you’re that worried, we’ll post an announcement the morning of.”

“Yes, that sounds better… Thank you. So what’s the fan meeting program?”

“We have several ideas. Singing, dancing trending idol choreography…”

“Pl-please cut that one.”

I hastily stopped the PD mid-sentence.

The nightmare from Palace Flower flashed through my mind.

The PD smiled slightly as if he already knew why.

“Right. And we have time for conversation with fans, inviting an MC to hold a talk concert, Q&A, etcetera.”

“Ah, I like these ideas.”

I smiled brightly and nodded.

“Yes, it’s a system where Sena-ssi moves autonomously overall. Let us know anytime if you want anything.”

“Okay.”

* * *

After the brief meeting, a small cafe near the broadcast station.

I sat in a corner reading the <Say Your Name> script through episode 10.

Thankfully, the writer—a drama script newcomer—was maintaining the tension and keeping the story engaging even in the later episodes.

Unlike other scripts, this one’s charm lay in its lengthy stage directions and rich, novel-like descriptions.

The detailed stage directions and instructions given to the characters made it easy to envision the work and the characters within their situations.

As I read the lines internally like that—

Buzzzz—

Minyeong unnie called.

“Yes, unnie.”

Unnie delivered bombshell news.

-Lee Seonho got cast.

“Huh?”

-<Say Your Name> male lead. Lee Seonho.

“What?!?!?”

Shocked, I jumped up from my seat.

Then I hastily looked around and sat back down.

Lowering my voice, I asked quickly.

“Lee Seonho’s really doing this?”

-Here’s the even more surprising part. Apparently he wasn’t going to do it, but the moment he heard you were the female lead, he immediately agreed.

Hearing unnie’s words, my eyes went wide.

“Why?”

-I guess he wanted to work with you. Wow, Han Sena’s really made it big.

I could hear unnie chuckling proudly through the phone.

I was dumbfounded.

“That’s ridiculous.”

I was so shocked my hands went weak.

-The director got attached right after Lee Seonho signed on. Someone he worked with on his last project. It’ll go straight into scheduling now.

“Ah….”

-Ooh, this is going to be something to watch. Let’s make another splash this year.

I nodded blankly at unnie’s words without answering.

After the call ended, I placed my palm on my forehead.

“Am I dreaming right now?”

Or not?

Should I even be this shocked about Lee Seonho’s casting?

Thinking about it, I had filmed a drama with Lee Seokhyun, who’s unquestionably South Korea’s top male actor…

I recalled Lee Seokhyun’s grinning face.

That guy is somehow a bit…

I shook my head and looked back down at the script.

Somehow my heart was racing.

If things went this way, scheduling was obviously a done deal.

It’s really starting now.

My heart pounded rapidly.

And the day of reckoning.

[UBN ‘Guerrilla Fan Meeting’ Episode 1 Star Han Sena Fan Meeting Attendance Notice]

‘Date & Time – July 8 (Friday) PM 8:00 scheduled’

‘Location – Wayne Live Hall in front of Hongdae’

* Photo time and autograph session scheduled after fan meeting

The moment the announcement went up the morning of, the internet went wild.

As soon as evening arrived, I hurriedly made my way toward Line 2.

Bang Chaehyuk and Lee Yul, who I’d worked with on the NBS variety show <Asura>, had reliably joined as support.

The two of them were serving as MCs, walking alongside me.

“Wow, how’s this program even going to turn out?”

“I’m so nervous!”

Bang Chaehyuk and Lee Yul chattered excitedly.

“Well then, shall we go?”

Before heading to Hongdae, a surprise event was prepared to ambush(?) Line 2 subway.

Fortunately, since we’d avoided rush hour, the subway station was relatively easy to move through.

After exchanging glances with the two, I removed my mask and hat.

Then I started strolling through the station.

With Bang Chaehyuk and Lee Yul on either side and cameras following us, people startled and stared at me.

I greeted those people brightly.

“Hello, I’m Han Sena. If you don’t mind….”

I smiled awkwardly and said.

“Would you like an autograph?”

This would probably look funny on the broadcast.

The ajummas standing in front of me hopped up and down and even clapped.

“Oh my, Sena-ssi! I’m such a huge fan.”

“Give me an autograph! Wow, you’re gorgeous in person.”

“What is this? A variety show??”

Hearing the ajummas’ voices, people swarmed from all directions.

“Are you filming Asura again? Oh my, even Chaehyuk-ssi!!”

That’s when a station attendant approached from far away with suspicious eyes.

“You can’t sell things here… Oh.”

The cameraman quickly caught on camera the station attendant who’d approached our group mistaking us for street vendors.

“Oh my goodness, Han Sena-ssi!! Please give me an autograph!!”

The young station attendant came running over in a hurry.

Everyone around me burst out laughing.

“Wow, this is way more chaotic and fun than expected?”

Bang Chaehyuk beside me grinned and threw in a comment.

“Everyone!! We’ve prepared a surprise event. Han Sena-ssi is going to perform a random dance for you!!”

That’s when Lee Yul suddenly cupped both hands around her mouth and shouted loudly.

“What?!”

Shocked, my eyes went wide as I stared at Lee Yul, but people who’d already gathered like clouds excitedly clapped.

“Oh no, that’s not it. No, no!”

“Hey, you can’t back out now. Come on, let’s go!!”

That’s when Bang Chaehyuk turned on EDM music loudly on his phone.

“Alright, one two three go!!”

Aaak.

Whatever, who cares.

In the end, I started shaking my head back and forth(?) and doing the dog paddle dance.

Can I really be doing this?

I took two steps left to the music, two steps right.

People laughed out loud and clapped as they watched.

When I shook my head even more vigorously and threw in a wave, cheers erupted.

Bang Chaehyuk and Lee Yul seemed shocked that I’d gone this far, laughing hard in panic.

“Wow, Sena-ssi’s passion is incredible!”

“Let’s join in too.”

Lee Yul, who’d made things reach this point, responsibly came and stood beside me.

In the end, all three of us performed the Asura dance.

Before we knew it, people had packed the station without a single space to stand.

How long had we been dancing?

The moment the song ended, people pulled out pieces of paper from somewhere and held them forward.

“Give me an autograph!”

“You’re amazing, Han Sena!!”

“Chaehyuk-ssi, Yul-ssi, please sign too!”

I gave autographs to people frantically while saying.

“Please come to the guerrilla concert later too!”

Quick promotion even while doing this.

To gather a full three hundred people, I had to recruit every single person possible.

A moment later.

Panting heavily, we exited the station.

Walking in front of Hongdae, other people were shocked and stared this way.

“Huff, I’m already tired.”

But those stares weren’t even on my radar right now.

Bang Chaehyuk beside me was also drenched in sweat.

“You honestly wanted to dance, didn’t you? What would you have done if I hadn’t suggested it?”

Lee Yul, still overflowing with energy, looked at me teasingly.

A staff member approached us and handed over energy drinks.

I took the drink looking bewildered.

“Wh-what’s this?”

“You’ve got a long way to go.”

I could see the live hall we’d be heading to up ahead.

Looking at that stage, I opened the drink with a determined expression.

* * *

The outdoor live hall where darkness had already settled.

Inside the temporary tent behind the stage, I was getting my makeup touched up.

The time was five minutes before the guerrilla live show.

Bang Chaehyuk and Lee Yul had gone onstage ahead of time to serve as hype men.

“Did a lot of people come?”

I asked the staff nervously while trembling.

The staff just smiled without anyone answering.

I took a deep breath.

Standing in front of cameras is nothing, so why is being onstage always so nerve-wracking?

My intensely nervous face was being captured on camera.

Of all things, why am I the first episode guest?

What if there aren’t enough people?

What if the program gets canceled!!

While I was indulging in all sorts of wild fantasies—

“Alright, standby please!”

A staff member shouted.

I jumped up from my seat.

The staff waved their hands wishing me luck.

“I’m so nervous, what do I do?”

The staff laughed watching me tremble and shake.

“Fighting!”

“Hang in there, Han Sena!”

Hearing the staff’s cheers, I exited the tent.

I walked toward the back of the stage.

Then, taking slow deep breaths, I started climbing the stairs connecting to the stage.

Perhaps receiving a signal that I was coming up, Bang Chaehyuk shouted loudly.

“Han Sena-ssi, please come out!!”

“Everyone, give her a big round of applause!”

“Waaaaaah!!”

The stage I reached like that.

Bright lights prepared by the staff snapped on, illuminating the plaza under the soft streetlamps.

Below, people sat packed densely in the three hundred prepared chairs.

And beyond that, people who couldn’t get seats had gathered in clusters, forming a crowd.

From this close distance, I could see each person’s face clearly.

“……!”

I stood there stunned at what looked easily like over five hundred people.

Bang Chaehyuk smiled and gestured for me to come beside him.

With trembling steps, I approached the fans one step, two steps.

“Well, our Sena-ssi seems pretty shocked. But this isn’t the end, right?”

“Everyone, shall we show what we practiced together? One, two, three!”

Following Lee Yul’s countdown, people lifted placards.

On blue cloth, the words ‘We love you, Han Sena’ were written.

It was surprise merch the production team had prepared.

So many people held those placards while grinning.

People who didn’t get placards had typed my name onto their phone mini displays.

‘Our goddess actress♥’

‘Han Sena, long run forever’

‘We love you Han Sena’

Gentle music signaling the fan meeting’s start began flowing.

My nose suddenly stung.
