Please Give Me A Kiss, Healer! Chapter 25
The system claimed Heeseong couldn’t awaken because he didn’t have a house, and kept popping up error messages.
Not once— but three times!
But as expected of someone sharing Do Jiwoo’s ironclad mental fortitude, Do Heeseong foamed at the mouth and got angry instead.
“Wow. Seriously? You expect me to live like this just because I don’t own a house? Are you kidding me? Huh? You’re gonna run a business like this?”
Of course, it was a secret that he had sprinkled in a few curse words, proudly insisting he’d show “how scary modern kids can be.”
The tirade was so intense, he almost felt like the system window physically flinched.
System
You may temporarily be assigned a house required for awakening.
Searching for suitable properties…
Would you like to move into the new home?
Heeseong hesitated.
‘Something tells me I shouldn’t accept this on my own. Noona will definitely blow up.’
Jiwoo was normally warm and gentle, but when it came to her brother’s safety, her personality became razor-sharp.
Some people might’ve said she was overprotective to an extreme degree, but Heeseong never complained.
He knew exactly how much his sister loved him and worried about him.
How much she had sacrificed to raise him.
How he grew up this well without their parents— all because of her.
“Ah, whatever. I’ll ask Noona later.”
He was curious, sure, but getting scolded by his sister for causing trouble sounded worse.
He left the system window alone and flopped back onto the bed.
But then—
— Nyanyanyak. Hey you there, are you by any chance Jiu’s little brother?
Dongsik, who had been observing from the side, shimmered his beady black eyes and suddenly spoke.
The scar on his cheek somehow made him look even more ominous.

As expected, once she heard the story, Jiu shouted her firm opposition.
“Awakening? Absolutely not! You’re already sick—how could you even think about becoming a Hunter?!”
It was hard to believe this fiery anger came from the normally soft and gentle Jiu.
“You’ve lost your mind, seriously! Do Heeseong, what were you thinking, doing something like this without even talking to me first?!”
A barrage of nagging followed.
No— a big-sister beatdown.
Jiu smacked Heeseong’s back with sharp pats that screamed “Mom-level scolding.”
Heeseong immediately looked like he was about to cry as he tried to defend himself.
“No, I swear I was going to wait for you to come back, but he kept telling me to press it—”
— Why do you keep blaming meee?! You were the one whining you were bored to deaaaath, Heeseooong!
“Hey! You damn penguin! We agreed that was a secret!”
Soon Dongsik and Heeseong were grabbing each other’s collars and bickering like children.
Jiu held her throbbing head and slumped down.
‘What is even happening right now…’
Outside the hut lay one unconscious returnee.
Next to him, two guildmasters of the Blank Guild.
Inside the hut, three bickering pet-guins shrieking at each other.
And her little brother insisting he wanted to awaken.
While Jiu spiraled into panic, Heeseong and Dongsik quietly slipped outside.
Heeseong marveled at the vast plains and the dense forest beyond.
“Damn, so you weren’t lying. This really is huge. You could build a theme park here.”
— Nyanak. I told you, didn’t I? Jiu’s house only looks wrecked right now—originally it was a grand kingdom!
“Even so, there’s no way a barren field like this could— WAAAAAAH!!”
Heeseong suddenly screamed after spotting something.
“What, what? Do Heeseong, what happened? Is something wrong?!”
Startled, Jiu rushed out of the hut.
And that… was her mistake.
“Noona… Why are Kangwoo-nim and Woo-hyuk-nim here?! Huh? I’m not hallucinating, right?!”
Heeseong grabbed Jiu’s shoulders and shook her wildly.
And Dongsik added, spitting through his beak:
— Jiu~ Who’s that dark-looking guy next to Kangwooo?!
Their excited faces swam before her shaking vision.
Jiu answered nothing.
She simply forced a Buddha-like smile and let her shoulders droop.
“…Haha… I wish everyone would just leave.”
Why—
why is everyone doing this in my house?
But it was too late to regret it.
She should’ve hidden Kangwoo and Shin Woo-hyuk earlier, but the sudden chaos had left her no room to think.
“Aahh, Woo-hyuk-nim, Kangwoo-nim…! Thank you once again for protecting mankind’s eyesight and mental health. Amen. Hallelujah!”
— Rise and leave, you dark intruderrr! Get out of here nooow!
“They’re injured! Stop it, both of you!”
Jiu separated her little brother from the sleeping Kangwoo, and peeled the crazy penguin off Shin Woo-hyuk.
Then she dragged both injured men back into the hut and laid them side by side.
“Ughhh, what even is this mess…”
Her head pounded from the chaos.
With a sigh, she sat beside the two men. Her mana had recovered enough—time for healing.
The first patient was the Blank Guild’s Guildmaster, Shin Woo-hyuk.
“[Heal!].”
Warm golden light seeped into his body.
After several casts, his complexion noticeably improved.
“Just you wait until you’re fully healed. I’m collecting hazard pay and overtime pay!”
Maybe he heard her threat, because he let out a small groan and shifted slightly.
Jiu tucked him in with a straw blanket and rolled up his clothes into a makeshift pillow.
Next patient— Seo Kangwoo.
Carefully, so she wouldn’t wake him, she approached.
“He looks better than before…”
The black veins that had covered one arm had disappeared.
But he seemed to be having a nightmare, his beautiful face scrunched in pain.
‘I knew we’d run into each other again someday…’
…but she hadn’t expected him to find her this fast, and inside a dungeon at that.
Ever since learning Kangwoo wasn’t a monster, she had mentally prepared herself.
She had promised to keep her distance and pretend not to know him.
But seeing him collapsed and suffering— all that resolve vanished instantly.
Jiu gently brushed back his sweat-drenched hair.
Even asleep, Kangwoo smiled faintly at her touch.
“…He really is handsome.”
Maybe it was because her brother had been chanting “Kangwoo-nim! Kangwoo-nim!” nonstop.
Her gaze kept drifting to Kangwoo’s face.
Smooth forehead, dark eyebrows, long lashes, straight nose, soft lips.
A sharp jawline and a glimpse of collarbone under his shirt.
She found herself staring at the parted red lips exhaling small breaths.
And snapped back to reality.
“Get a grip! This is not the time! Healing first!”
Jiu glanced around.
Only the unconscious Shin Woo-hyuk was nearby.
She exhaled.
Using this forbidden skill required a solemn determination.
Closing her eyes tightly, she raised her hand under her chin.
Then—
“[Jiu’s Hands Are Healing Hands! Filled with Love~ Hooo~♥].”
…and used the skill.
System
Skill ‘Hooo~ I’ll Make It Better♥’ activated.
Tip: Appropriate skinship increases recovery effects.
Recommended skinship: 3 kisses.
The system was blatantly trying to push her into kissing Kangwoo.
“Are you—are you insane?!”
It had already unlocked a skill the first time she kissed him!
Her face went crimson at the memory.
And yet part of her couldn’t help but think—
‘There are still a lot of locked skills left…’
Why did the system keep encouraging skinship with Kangwoo?
Would the remaining skills unlock through more skinship?
Since the first one opened with a kiss… the next would—
Her imagination spiraled, and her face reddened like a ripe apple.
Curiosity about the hidden skills was half of it… The other half was pure instinctual interest.
“Focus, Do Jiu! Stop thinking like that! He’s asleep!”
She slapped her cheeks, flustered, and hurried out of the hut.
Leaving the two unconscious men together.
If she had known the storm that would come from that… she never would’ve left them like that.
