Baepsae had been busy dolling herself up since morning. She hadn’t even put this much effort into a blind date, but she didn’t care. Feeling the thrill of ‘money well spent’ for the first time, she checked her phone message once more with a happy face.

She packed her ID, album, power bank, and gifts, then headed to the venue. Living at the western edge of Seoul, Gangnam was a place she visited barely once a month. Her subway journey began as soon as she passed subway gates.
After about an hour, she arrived at an art center in Seocho-gu. Even though she arrived early, the entrance was swarming with DASE fans.

“Please have your ID and winning notification ready~”
She wondered why the line was so long, and it turned out to be for the ticket exchange. The quick-witted Baepsae joined the end of the line. It looked like it would take at least ten more minutes for her turn.
‘I’m so nervous.’
If she was this nervous now, she might have a heart attack when she finally saw the real Baekya. Baepsae pulled out a cheongsimhwan just in case. (TL note: Cheongsimhwan is a calming herbal.)
“Ack! Water…!”
She didn’t have any water. Realizing she might have to chew down this bitter thing dry, her brows knit together. Just then, a voice called out from behind her.
“Would you like some water?”
An angel had appeared.
“Oh! Thank you. Just a sip, please…”
Baepsae successfully swallowed the pill. As she carefully returned the water bottle, the angel spoke to her.
“May I ask who your bias is?”
“Oh. It’s Baekya.”
“Ah~ You’re a Baekya fan. I like Jihan.”
The Jihan fan was incredibly beautiful. She actually looked a bit like Jihan.
“Did you come alone?”

The two separated, agreeing to meet at the entrance after the event ended.
As the time approached, the seats filled up. Baepsae, sitting in a relatively front row, looked around with wonder—especially at the people with massive cameras.

There wasn’t just one or two. They were constantly taking photos of the empty stage as soon as they sat down. The person right next to her was one of them.

Baepsae craned her neck. Shoot, check, repeat—over and over. Eventually, Baepsae gave up and slumped in her chair.
‘Whatever. I just want Baekya to come out soon.’
Just as it passed 7:00 PM, DASE entered from the side of the stage.
“KYAAAAA!”
A scream so loud it made her ears ring filled the art hall. The members entered, bowing shyly or waving. At the center of the stage, DASE stood in a line in front of the tables and bowed to the fans.
“One, two, three.”
“For your Days! Hello, we are DASE!”
“WAAAAA!”
Baekya’s eyes went wide at the even louder cheer.
‘Ack! Han Baekya is so freaking cute!’
Baepsae screamed his name in her heart. As the cheers died down slightly, the sound of shutters erupted from all sides.

Sitting right to Baepsae’s right, Baekya’s fansite master, Baeksang, was focused on her camera. (TL note: Baeksang was previously translated as White Night Phenomenon.)
‘Pink-haired Baekya. This is cruel.’
DASE had entered wearing white T-shirts and ripped jeans—their teaser outfits. Every press of the shutter produced an A-cut photo.

Since they were showing off outfits that looked like Halloween costumes on every music show, they must have decided to tone it down for the fansign. Their ‘push-and-pull’ game was top-tier.

While Baeksang was firing off shutters, DASE finished their greetings and sat down at the set tables. Baekya was in the fourth seat.

Baepsae joined the waiting line shortly. Baeksang, leaving her camera at her seat, stood behind her.
“Next person, please step up.”
It was finally Baepsae’s turn. The first member was Yulmu.
“Hello~”
“H-hello.”
Baepsae bowed, stuttering.
‘He’s huge…!’
Even sitting down, his build was overwhelming.
‘Did they say he was in the basketball club in middle school?’
Perhaps that was why fans called him a ‘Physical Education Major God’ or ‘P.E. Oppa’. Seeing him up close, she understood why.
“How long did it take you to get here?”
When Baepsae stood there blankly, unable to say anything, Yulmu spoke first.

“Please move along.”
The next was Minseong. With his neat and refined looks, Minseong even had a gentle voice.
“Have you eaten?”
“Yes. What did you eat, Minseong-nim…?”
At Baepsae’s extreme politeness, the leader paused his signing and looked up.
“Please, speak comfortably.”
“Gasp.”
The corners of his mouth curved up softly.
‘Am I at a cultured talk show taping or something?’
He was the definition of elegance. As a dazed Baepsae stood there with her jaw dropped, Minseong joked.

The third was Cheong.
“Hi!”
The California Boy asked for a high five as soon as Baepsae stood before him.
“Nice high five~”
His energy was incredible.
“Who did you come to see?”
“I-I came to see all of DASE.”
“Really? Thank you-yo~”
Having received special training in polite speech for today, he was attaching ‘-yo’ to everything.
“This fansign is so fun!”
He certainly looked like he was having the time of his life. Wearing two headbands given to him by fans, he was enjoying the signing more than anyone else in the room.
