Winter Season Chapter 58
If I delayed any longer here, he might find it strange that I hadn’t returned. Yihyeon, having steadied his posture and straightened his disheveled clothes, looked into the mirror.
Had there ever been a time when he was so grateful that his expressions didn’t easily show? Yihyeon wiped his face once and then moved his steps out of the restroom.
It was around the time he was returning through the same hallway he came from with the server, wearing an expressionless face as if nothing had happened. Yihyeon flinched and stepped back at the figure that appeared as soon as he turned the corner.
It was Gu Jinhyeok. He showed a charming smile and lightly caught Yihyeon’s wrist.
“You were here.”
“General Manager.”
In contrast to his pulse, which was accelerating again out of fear that the man might have noticed something, his clear face remained calm. Jinhyeok, having lightly flicked Yihyeon’s bangs which were slightly clumped from moisture, scanned him from head to toe.
“I picked this out because I thought blue would suit you, and perhaps because your skin is so fair, it really does look good on you.”
“Ah… Thank you.”
“You were with some woman earlier. Are you acquaintances?”
“I met her at the entrance. I felt a bit awkward being alone… and you seemed busy as well, General Manager.”
“I couldn’t pay enough attention because I was responding to people.”
“No. You don’t have to worry about it.”
“It’s not polite to invite a guest and then neglect them. Let’s go. Let’s see just a few more people and then get some rest.”
Jinhyeok, having lifted his wrist to check the time, led the way out toward the hall. Yihyeon hesitated for a moment and then quickly followed behind him.
While Gu Jinhyeok engaged in conversations with other people in the hall, Yihyeon stood quietly behind him, keeping guard. Occasionally, the gaze of the person Jinhyeok was talking to would land tenaciously on Yihyeon, but every time that happened, Yihyeon avoided the gaze and moistened his lips with champagne.
I should stop drinking this, too.
Was it because he had been sipping thoughtlessly, thinking the alcohol content was low? Even for a drink like this, a subtle heat began to rise. Just as he was about to call over a passing server to hand off his empty glass, Yihyeon’s hand faltered as he discovered someone dressed in a black suit over there.
One of the people gathered amongst themselves on one side of the banquet hall was a man named Kwak Taeshik, who always followed behind Seunghyeok like a shadow. Yihyeon, reflexively scanning the surroundings, bit his lower lip hard as he realized he had instinctively searched for Gu Seunghyeok.
“I think this is enough. Shall we head up?”
“Pardon?”
Yihyeon, snapping out of it at the sudden voice, turned around. Jinhyeok, with his hair neatly swept up, took the champagne glass Yihyeon was holding and placed it on a passing server’s tray. Then, saying “Follow me,” he led Yihyeon somewhere.
Jinhyeok, who passed by giving a casual nod to the people greeting him from here and there, stepped up the stairs heading to the second floor.
After opening long, billowing curtains and walking a few more steps inside, a hallway lined like a maze appeared. Unlike the floor below, the floor covered with thick carpet quietly absorbed the sound of people’s footsteps.
Jinhyeok, who headed somewhere without hesitation while pulling Yihyeon along, reached the middle of the hallway and threw open a closed door. In the middle of a spacious room lay a large bed, and next to it was a fairly wide bathroom. Including a clean bar-style kitchen set up on one side, it was a form similar to a hotel guest room, just as he had described.
As soon as he entered the room, Jinhyeok loosened his tie and headed straight for the table. Then, he took out one of the wines from the wine cellar and set it on the table along with a glass.
“It’s tiring, playing the clown in a way that doesn’t even suit me.”
Pour… Yihyeon’s head turned at the sound of wine being poured.
“It was so laughable, seeing how they were buzzing around just to try and latch on somehow.”
“…”
“In that sense, you aren’t much different, Mr. Kwon Yihyeon, but it’s very strange. I can clearly see that Gu Seunghyeok, that pathetic bastard, is trying to pull a move with such a trivial trick, yet I find myself wanting to play along.”
Jinhyeok gave a smirk and swirled the glass containing the wine. The eyes that met Yihyeon’s flashed momentarily. Yihyeon’s fingertips twitched involuntarily.
When the color of the red wine that had spread along the wall of the glass faded, Jinhyeok held out the wine glass to Yihyeon, who was standing two steps away.
“Drink it without using your hands.”
At the perplexing command, Yihyeon pressed his lips together and looked up at Jinhyeok. The black pupils held a chilling light.
He didn’t know what had happened to the man in the banquet hall, but he thought it would be better not to provoke him for no reason. Yihyeon, staring at the glass with his eyes downcast, slowly leaned his upper body forward.
“No, not like that.”
It was around the time he had his head halfway lowered that his fine hair was suddenly grabbed. Jinhyeok, having gripped the hair near the crown of his head, applied force to his hand to make Yihyeon lift his head.
“You have to kneel.”
When Yihyeon, startled by the sudden force pulling his hair, widened his eyes and looked up, he met the gaze of Jinhyeok, who was looking down at him with a dry stare.
The face of Gu Jinhyeok, expressionless as a robot, felt momentarily more chilling than the pain coming from his pulled hair.
“…General Manager.”
“It’s fine to keep acting shy like that, but as a heads-up, I prefer someone who is more obedient.”
The hand holding the hair pressed Yihyeon’s head downward. Yihyeon, kneeling while stumbling, looked up at Jinhyeok with trembling eyes. At the sight of Yihyeon sitting obediently on his knees, Jinhyeok pulled one side of his lip up crookedly.
“That’s a good look.”
Smiling with a satisfied expression, Jinhyeok pulled Yihyeon’s hair back to make his face tilt upward, then picked up the wine glass with his other hand. Then, he brought the wine glass to Yihyeon’s mouth.
The transparent, thin crystal wine glass seemed to tilt, and it moistened Yihyeon’s red lips. Jinhyeok tilted the angle of the wine glass even further with indifferent eyes.
“…Mmph.”
The wine that could not quite make it into his mouth began to flow past the side of his lips and drip down under his chin. Despite this, Jinhyeok did not straighten the tilted wine glass. He was effectively pouring the wine over Yihyeon’s lips.
Yihyeon stared at Jinhyeok while clenching the hands he had placed on his knees. Jinhyeok withdrew his hand only after all the wine in the glass had spilled down onto the expensive suit and shirt.
“Oh dear. Your clothes are all wet.”
Was it just his imagination that he felt pleasure in the monotonous bass voice? Over Yihyeon’s head, as he looked down at his red-stained shirt with his head lowered, Jinhyeok’s voice continued.
“You’ll have to take them off, your clothes.”
So he had done such a thing just to say this. He must have known that Yihyeon was in a position where he couldn’t refuse even if a direct command had been given; Yihyeon couldn’t understand Gu Jinhyeok for going as far as doing this.
Yihyeon wiped the traces of wine remaining under his cheek with the back of his hand, removed his tie pin, and tucked it into his pocket.
Jinhyeok stared with a persistent gaze at the white hands slowly loosening the tie and unbuttoning the shirt one by one. Yihyeon, having taken off the jacket and shirt and set them down beside him, grit his teeth inconspicuously.
“Your nipples are pink.”
Jinhyeok, letting out a laugh like escaping air, came and stood in front of Yihyeon. Jinhyeok’s crotch drew close in front of Yihyeon’s face as he sat on his knees.
Jinhyeok grabbed the back of Yihyeon’s head, who was trying to lower it to avoid the gaze, and pulled it between his groin. Something hard could be felt through the stiff fabric.
“As much as I’d like to, I want to shove my cock into that small mouth and pound away right now. But since I shouldn’t startle you, Mr. Yihyeon…”
Jinhyeok stared down at Yihyeon, who was keeping his eyes closed quietly, then rotated his hips in a circle while pressing down on the back of his head with force. He rubbed his entire face as if massaging it with his penis, which was already showing its silhouette from the pressure, and then took a step back.
“Shall we try playing around slowly?”
“…”
“Straighten your back properly.”
Jinhyeok, having set the wine glass down on the table, this time picked up the wine by the bottle and slowly tilted it over Yihyeon’s collarbone. Half of the chilling wine flowed down his chest and stomach, and half began to pool between his clearly exposed collarbones.
The chilling sensation suddenly brushing over his skin made it feel as if goosebumps were erupting all over his body. Jinhyeok, seeing the frozen figure of Yihyeon, gave a smirk and leisurely set the bottle down.
“If you hold it well without spilling, I’ll give you a reward.”
