Violet asked without stopping her hands as she continued stitching.

Cynthia slowly blinked as she mulled over the question.

Yes. It was true that Grand Duke Tession Romanov had been on her mind a lot lately.

Now that she thought about it, quite a lot had happened. Having experienced it herself, he was extremely kind and gentle, and learning about his past had made her heart ache more and more…….

On top of that, after meeting and talking several times, she felt like they had grown somewhat close…….

“I guess it’s only natural that I can’t stop thinking about him……”

“Why?”

“He’s a pitiful person. Someone I can’t help but keep worrying about.”

She muttered softly and pulled her knees up, wrapping her arms around them.

Violet glanced at her briefly and spoke.

“Then why don’t you give him what he wants?”

“What he wants?”

“Yes. Like you said, everyone gets what they want, but if only he doesn’t, that’s unfair, isn’t it?”

Cynthia fell into deep thought.

Violet had a point! Then what did Tession want?

Money? He already had plenty……

Honor? He already had enough……

Lo, love? That wasn’t something she could just…… give……

“Violet, what do adult men in the Dirotain Empire usually like?”

“That’s a really difficult question. I’m not sure. Maybe you should ask Dale?”

“Ugh, no way!”

Cynthia immediately shook her head.

She’d rather think it through until her hair fell out than ask that annoying advisor!

Frowning as she thought hard, Cynthia suddenly murmured.

“Oh…… I got it. I know what he wants!”

And it was something she could actually give him.

“That’s great then.”

Violet replied casually, increasing her pace as she continued stitching.

Cynthia jumped off the bed and shouted.

“Violet! I’m going out for a bit. Oh, I don’t need the contact lenses! I’ll just wear my normal clothes!”

“Wait, suddenly?”

Cynthia grinned brightly.

“Yes. I’ve got somewhere to go.”

*****

Cynthia arrived in town by carriage from the Bailey estate and carefully pulled back the curtain by the window.

The duke’s restaurant wasn’t far from here… I wonder if the fire has been resolved properly……

Thinking that Tession might be nearby made her feel oddly happy.

“Miss! Should I drop you off here?”

As the carriage stopped, the driver called from outside.

Cynthia quickly stood up, opened the door herself, and hopped down.

“Yes! Thank you for the ride!”

The driver turned back, smiled warmly, and tipped his hat.

What a polite old man!

Even though she wasn’t from the Bailey family, he had kindly driven her into town. Cynthia bowed deeply in thanks.

After the carriage left, Cynthia turned to look down the long street ahead.

“I need to find the pharmacy!”

She immediately started walking toward the magic pharmacy in her memory.

Even though she had never visited after arriving in this world, she roughly knew the location from passing by.

“Was it a right turn here……?”

As she turned naturally at a wide alley, Cynthia fell into thought.

‘What was the recipe for that vision-restoration potion again, from the later part of the novel?’

She had come to find a potion to give Tession.

Restoring his sight was surely what he wanted most! If he could see again, even a broken engagement wouldn’t matter anymore.

But the closer she got to the magic pharmacy, the more she realized she couldn’t remember the most important details.

“Let’s see…… there was a time when Elizabeth tried to use a Titronea flower in bed, but she forgot about it and left it in storage for a long time, and a maid who found it later put it in a vase and dried it properly……”

What happened after that?

Even though she had read the novel many times, the details had become faint over time.

“Was the man who visited Elizabeth then a magic pharmacist? I think the dried flower ended up with him, and somehow it became the potion that restored Tession’s sight……”

She couldn’t remember the exact process.

While still thinking, Cynthia stopped in front of a glass door.

‘I found it!’

She looked up at the sign confirming it was the magic pharmacy.

She didn’t know the exact method, but the pharmacist who created it was here, so she could just ask him.

Now that she thought about it, even though she hadn’t paid much attention, that pharmacist had quite an important role in <One-Page Life>……

“That means……”

Cynthia muttered and pushed open the glass door.

A small bell above the door rang.

“Welcome.”

So this man was also one of Elizabeth’s harem members!

Cynthia stepped inside and immediately froze when she saw the man sitting among shelves filled with potions.

Slightly drooping eyes, a dark mole under his eye, and a lazy-looking gaze.

……Why does he look so unintelligent and unkind?

“What kind of potion are you looking for?”

“Are you the pharmacist?”

“What?”

“Ah—no, that just slipped out.”

Cynthia quickly shook her head. She had only thought it in her mind……

She swallowed and spoke again.

“I’m here looking for a potion that can restore eyesight……”

“We don’t have that.”

The man cut her off immediately.

Cynthia blinked in shock.

“You don’t?”

“No. We don’t. No matter how freely you use magic, something like that can’t be made. How would you restore sight that’s already gone?”

But you made it!

Was he hiding it because it was too rare, or had he not developed it yet?

Cynthia forced a smile.

“I think it exists though.”

“It doesn’t.”

“Then…… what if you try experimenting with it? I think you might be able to make it if you try.”

“Nope.”

He casually picked at his ear with his pinky, looking annoyed.

“If you’re done, please leave. I’m kind of busy.”

Is that what a “busy” person looks like? He looked completely idle!

Cynthia sighed deeply and held back her frustration.

“Then how about a formal request? I’ll pay generously.”

“How much?”

“If you can actually make it, a vision-restoration potion would be quite expensive.”

“……100,000 Minte.”

“For my Tession, that’s worth it!”

“Eh.”

The man glanced at her and waved a hand dismissively.

“Leave.”

“……200,000 Minte.”

“Leave, I said.”

Cynthia clenched her fists.

“Fifty thousand.”

“Sixty thousand it is.”

“Deal.”

Before he could change his mind again, she quickly agreed.

The man stood up and smiled.

“Welcome, customer. Let’s talk in more detail over here.”

This scammer……

Cynthia gritted her teeth and walked over.

“What potion did you say you were looking for?”

“A potion that restores eyesight. One that can return sight to someone who has lost it completely.”

“Miss, have you been reading too many novels?”

Cynthia blinked at his blunt question.

“I don’t think so……”

“Such a thing doesn’t exist. Not even slightly improving vision, but fully restoring sight? Impossible.”

“It does exist……” she muttered quietly.

You literally made it yourself.

But she couldn’t say that out loud.

“I’m an ethical pharmacist. I don’t just whip up random things and say ‘here you go’ to take your 600,000 Minte. I tell you clearly when something can’t be made.”

“So?”

“I can’t make it. Consultation over! No payment needed—just give me 50,000 Minte for the consultation fee.”

The man smiled brightly and held out his hand.

A 50,000 Minte consultation fee—what a scammer……
