Her whole body was numb. Her whole body felt heavy, like cotton soaked in a lot of water. There was no place that didn’t hurt as if she had a cold.

 

She tried to open her eyes, but it felt like someone had glued her eyelids shut. When she groaned in discomfort, she felt a gentle touch caressing her face.

He cheekily said, even though he was the one who made her feel this way. He clicked his tongue without any conscience. 

 

With her eyes closed, she sipped the refreshing Americano through the straw. Throughout the coffee drinking, Anna leaned on him, and he continuously stroked her face and hair, planting kisses on her head.

 

After finishing it all, a sigh escaped on its own. Anna closed her eyes and completely relaxed her body. After drinking the coffee, her mind slowly woke up.

 

It felt strange just lying there, leaning on him, without doing anything.

 

It felt like his thing was still lodged deep inside her. It felt as if the hole below had completely opened, and love juice flowed out from inside along with a throbbing pain.

“I’m going to eat ramen with you.”

 

A little later, a staff member brought them hot water. He tore the cup ramen package and poured water. A salty and pungent scent spread throughout the room.

 

“Have you ever tried ramen?”

 

“No. It’s my first time.”

 

He smiled mischievously and set the timer according to the instructions on the packaging.

 

“It must be spicy.”

 

“I like spicy food.”

 

When the alarm rang, he playfully twirled the noodles around the fork and brought it to Anna’s lips. Although Anna had said she would eat it herself, he didn’t hand her the fork.

 

Seeing Anna enjoying it, Lucino smiled brightly, satisfied. Despite Anna urging him to eat quickly, Lucino only started eating the swollen noodles after he had fed Anna completely.

 

“Is it spicy?”

 

“It’s okay for now. Still delicious.”

 

Even though he said that, he drank orange juice several times.

 

He ate everything and cleaned up after himself. Then, he picked up Anna, who couldn’t walk because her legs were weak, and took her to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

 

After feeding and washing her, he put her back on the bed. She sat down, leaning her back on the cushion, and sighed.

“Already?”

It was a heartbeat that was completely different from the expression on his face where his eyes were shining softly and he was smiling leisurely.

 

There was no calm in the pounding sound that rang in her ears. It was impatient and very fast. Lucino’s heart was racing as if he didn’t know what to do.

Anna couldn’t finish what she was saying and swallowed. The end of her voice was trembling as she asked the question.

 

“Why?”
