Sunshine Shower Chapter 107
Woo Yeonjae slowly lowered his head. Despite Moon Seoyoon’s sudden fear that he might kiss him, Woo Yeonjae’s lips simply touched his cheek, softly wiping away his tears.
“Hngh, ngh, mm…”
“If you’re going to cry, haah, cry because of me.”
One of the fingers that had been holding his cheek brushed against the corner of his lips. As Moon Seoyoon’s lips parted from his moans, a finger slipped inside, pressing against his tongue. Thanks to this, he could finally regulate his breathing, following the rhythm of the finger that played with his tongue.
“Hnngh, ugh, ngh. Ah!”
If it weren’t for the relentless thrusts that shook his entire body and the pounding pressure against his insides, it would have been much easier to catch his breath. But in truth, he preferred it this way. He wanted to lose himself in the overwhelming pleasure, forgetting everything else.
“I won’t push you until you pass out…”
“Haah, ah, ah, ah!”
Woo Yeonjae continued to catch the falling tears with his lips, following their trail down Moon Seoyoon’s face. His lips briefly grazed the corner of Moon Seoyoon’s mouth.
“I’ll only go until you’re tired enough to sleep.”
Moon Seoyoon closed his eyes.
Instinctively, his tongue licked at the spot Woo Yeonjae’s lips had touched, tasting the salty residue of his tears.
He felt a gentle, lapping sensation. When he half-opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was the broad shoulder in front of him.
“Just relax.”
Fingers softly combed through his hair. Only then did Moon Seoyoon fully realize that he was cradled in Woo Yeonjae’s arms. The warmth that enveloped him felt like being submerged in a bathtub. Although he didn’t usually enjoy high temperatures, preferring lukewarm showers even in winter, the hot water now made his body feel pleasantly languid.
It was strange, being in Woo Yeonjae’s arms in a bathtub after sex, but Moon Seoyoon had no strength left to push him away. Instead of squirming, he simply blinked. As his cheek rested against Woo Yeonjae’s broad shoulder, he noticed the bite mark he had left.
“That’s going to bruise…”
A low, quiet voice escaped his lips.
“Worried?”
Woo Yeonjae chuckled softly, applying a bit more pressure to the fingers stroking Moon Seoyoon’s hair.
“If you think about what I did to you, you probably shouldn’t be.”
Without responding, Moon Seoyoon let out a quiet laugh. The sound of splashing water and their shallow breaths blended together, dissolving like sugar in water.
Whether it was because the sex had ended, or the hot water had relaxed him, the thoughts that had previously cluttered Moon Seoyoon’s mind slowly began to settle into place. While his head wasn’t completely clear, at least he could gather his thoughts somewhat.
Moon Seoyoon blinked slowly. Having cried freely during the sex, thankfully, no more tears fell.
“Moon Seoyoon.”
Woo Yeonjae gently patted his back, moving his supporting arm. With each movement, the water around them gently rippled.
“…Yeah?”
“If something’s bothering you, now’s the time to say it.”
He must have noticed something was off ever since Moon Seoyoon returned from his family home. By “something,” Woo Yeonjae likely referred not just to yesterday, but also to today. Even though the reasons for his bad mood were completely different, the fact that he didn’t want to share either of them remained the same.
“There’s nothing.”
Moon Seoyoon calmly told the truth. Nothing particularly unusual had happened. The thing that had messed him up was simply his own emotions, which had worn him down. So, saying there was nothing wasn’t a lie.
Because their bodies were pressed together, Moon Seoyoon could sense Woo Yeonjae lowering his gaze toward him. He couldn’t bear to meet Woo Yeonjae’s eyes, so he just stared blankly at the bite mark he had left.
It would disappear in a few hours.
“Well, alright.”
Though Woo Yeonjae’s voice still carried traces of doubt, it seemed he decided not to push further. He didn’t stop his comforting pats.
“If nothing’s wrong, then don’t overthink…”
The hand that had been playing with Moon Seoyoon’s hair slowly slid down to stroke the nape of his neck.
“Just sleep.”
Maybe it was the softness of Woo Yeonjae’s voice, but sleepiness suddenly washed over him.
Moon Seoyoon closed his eyes slowly. Unknowingly, a tear that had gathered in the corner of his eye fell and pooled somewhere. Since his eyes were closed, he didn’t know where it had landed.
* * *
It felt warm and cozy, as though he were submerged in a hot bath. It was a sensation completely different from the cool air surrounding them. Instinctively, he curled up, seeking more of the warmth, and something long slipped through his hair, playfully wrapping around it. A low laugh followed, falling softly over his head.
“Mm…”
Only then did Moon Seoyoon startle awake and try to sit up. His arms, however, were too weak to hold him, so he quickly collapsed back down. Still, he struggled to get up.
“What are you doing?”
Woo Yeonjae asked with a chuckle, seemingly amused by the sight. That’s when Moon Seoyoon realized his left hand was resting on Woo Yeonjae’s stomach. He was lying in his arms, like he was using Woo Yeonjae’s body as a pillow.
“…Did you let me sleep here?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
Barely able to lift his head, Moon Seoyoon managed to ask. Woo Yeonjae’s eyebrows furrowed slightly at the question. It felt like a familiar conversation, one they had often after sex in the mornings, and Moon Seoyoon fumbled for an awkward excuse.
“Well, we have separate rooms now…”
“I told you to stop throwing me away after sex.”
This time, Woo Yeonjae didn’t seem genuinely annoyed like before, and his expression softened as the frown faded.
“You don’t remember me saying I’d let you sleep, do you?”
He remembered the time Woo Yeonjae had asked if he wanted to sleep together. At the time, he had been flustered as a string of words following the question made it sound like a sexual proposition, but it seemed that wasn’t exactly what Woo Yeonjae had meant.
In the end, though, they had ended up mixing their bodies again, so the joke didn’t stay just a joke.
“No, I remember. Anyway… thanks for letting me sleep well.”
Although it was Moon Seoyoon who had suggested drinking, it was Woo Yeonjae who had brought the wine and who had also been the one to have intense sex with him, so it was thanks to Woo Yeonjae that he had been able to fall into a wine-and-heat-induced slumber. The hot water that had relaxed his entire body had probably helped as well.
“Thanks?”
Woo Yeonjae frowned slightly, his lips curling up into a lopsided grin. His expression was somewhat odd.
“Feels weird.”
“What does?”
“You treating me like a dildo doesn’t bother me, but acting like we’re strangers does.”
Moon Seoyoon blinked in confusion. His mind was a mess, too scrambled to react the way he normally would, like jumping up in shock. Instead, he remained nestled in Woo Yeonjae’s arms.
“Are you and I the type to say thanks for something like this?”
Finally, Moon Seoyoon understood why Woo Yeonjae seemed displeased. He must have sensed the subtle line that had been drawn between them, despite their otherwise intimate relationship. Although he had said thank you simply because he was grateful, in certain types of relationships, such formalities were unnecessary.
That was the kind of relationship he and Woo Yeonjae had.
“I’m just saying thank you because I’m thankful…”
Moon Seoyoon muttered as he forced his heavy body to sit up. The hand that had been playing with his hair naturally dropped away.
If he were to get out of bed right away, he knew he would probably stumble, so instead of standing, he chose to sit there quietly. For now, just pulling himself away from Woo Yeonjae’s embrace was enough.
Did someone leave the window open? Bright sunlight streamed in through a half-open window. The heavy rain seemed like it had been a lifetime ago, replaced by the crisp summer sky and rays of sunlight that dazzled his eyes.
“The weather’s nice.”
He muttered absentmindedly, and as Woo Yeonjae got up from the bed, he tossed out a casual suggestion.
“Let’s grab something to eat and go out for a bit.”
Why not? The day after a heavy rain wasn’t likely to be too hot. Plus, the refreshing feeling that often followed a rainy day would probably make it a good time to be alone with his thoughts.
Moon Seoyoon blinked slowly. A light breeze with a cool edge brushed against his eyelashes.
As he continued sitting there in a daze, Woo Yeonjae, perhaps thinking that Moon Seoyoon still hadn’t come to his senses, lightly touched his cheek to snap him out of it. The indistinct sunlight reflected in his eyes was replaced by Woo Yeonjae’s face.
“Let’s go out together.”
Woo Yeonjae’s lips moved slightly. His softly curved eyes gave him the look of someone who had thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Pop! The sound of an umbrella opening lightly scattered the falling raindrops.
“Are we really sharing this?”
Moon Seoyoon stared blankly at Woo Yeonjae, who had already taken a step forward, and asked. It wasn’t a large umbrella, just one of those cheap plastic ones you’d get from a convenience store. It was far too small for two men to share.
Even putting aside the fact that Woo Yeonjae was noticeably bigger, Moon Seoyoon wasn’t exactly small either. Sharing the umbrella would be almost pointless.
“So, should I use it by myself?”
Woo Yeonjae raised one eyebrow as if to say, “What’s the problem?”
“I’m not that heartless.”
“If two middle school boys tried to share this, they’d barely fit under it.”
“Oh, you want to use it alone, Moon Seoyoon?”
Woo Yeonjae twirled the white plastic handle around in his large hand.
“Wow, cold-hearted, aren’t you?”
It was the only umbrella left, so there wasn’t much choice.
“Alright, let’s go.”
In the end, Moon Seoyoon gave in with a small laugh and squeezed himself under the too-small umbrella.
