Yoo Gilseon swept back his disheveled hair and laced his fingers together, propping up his chin. His voice dropped low.

“By any means necessary.”

“…Public opinion isn’t on our side.”

“Guild Master Han Woori played her cards well. They had the justification on their side, so instead of hiding it, they made it official and announced it to the entire world—that legendary beast is Yoo Eunsae’s beast.”

Jin Aso bowed her head. Yoo Gilseon turned his gaze and stepped closer to the floor-to-ceiling window. The city skyline was packed with towering buildings.

Looking at the headlights sprinkled like stardust across the roads, he fidgeted nervously with his fingers.

“There’s less time than I thought.”

He had to make contact with her—as soon as possible.

After the official announcement was made, Han Woori first strengthened the security personnel around Eunsae.

About twice the number of guards who previously protected Eunsae’s home were deployed. The team led by A-rank Park Doyoon took the lead on this task.

When they actually saw the baby, they were surprised to find the child seemed a bit older than expected. Still, they pretended not to notice, as they had used a contract item that bound them to secrecy regarding anything seen or heard here.

The kids were already wiggling their little bottoms in excitement at the thought of getting in the water. Calming the eager Byeol and Bomi down, Eunsae filled the pool with lukewarm water so it wouldn’t be too cold.

She floated the rubber duck Byeol used to love when he was younger and added a toy boat. She also tossed in a bunch of soft balls that Bomi liked.

“Byeol and Bomi, arms up~”

She dressed Byeol in a swimsuit she had prepared in advance. For Bomi, she attached a waterproof ribbon.
