I’m Trying to End This Possession Chapter 193
* * *
Dana opened her eyes.
“…”
By then, everything had been purified. The land that had been rotting, Noah’s body that had turned black, and even the spell on him—It was all cleansed.
At that moment, Noah was glaring at her with an angry expression. No, it’s more like a face contorted in pain, as if he’d been stabbed.
Dana then realized. Noah knows that I saw it.
Noah, too, had felt everything. He knew that she had witnessed the most shameful secret of his life.
Noah sat up, then, with trembling hands, grabbed the arrow stuck in his neck and pulled it out. He grimaced in pain, but the wound soon began to slowly heal.
“Did you see it?” He asked.
“Yes.” Dana didn’t deny it. “Noah, you—” She almost burst out laughing, but barely managed to hold it in. She shouldn’t laugh. “What did you do to me?” Stifling her laughter, Dana put on a sad face instead. “That was before I told you I was possessed, right? So how did you do that secretly while I was asleep…”
Noah’s eyes widened. “You… Do you remember when you were Danae Windsor?”
“Yeah. I remember everything.”
Dana now realized there was no point in pretending anymore. Actually, there was nothing she needed to hide from Noah now. After all, she had already seen Noah’s deepest secret.
“I remember. That I was Danae Windsor. That we used to be so close, but at some point, you started to hate me to death. I remember everything.” Dana murmured with a melancholic face. “Of course, I didn’t know you did that to me while I was sleeping.”
Now, Dana finally understood. The reason why Noah had always acted so uneasy in front of her. What Noah couldn’t bear all that time wasn’t her. But it was Noah Windsor himself.
“…I’m sorry,” Noah said stiffly. “I’m sorry for what I did back then.”
His neck was stiff with tension. Dana had never seen Noah this nervous before.
“I crossed the line.”
Dana gazed at him before asking, “Should I just think you did it because you were young and didn’t know any better?”
“No. There’s no excuse. I knew full well I shouldn’t do that to you. I’m sorry.”
Wow… He even manages to apologize with that irritating look. Dana stared at him, feeling a strange sensation. The more she did, the redder Noah became. She wondered about how red a person could get. Noah’s earlobes, back of his neck, even his collarbones peeking out from his unbuttoned shirt, all flushed with heat.
“…I said… I’m sorry.” Noah seemed to think she was still blaming him.
“I have a question.”
Dana almost wanted to poke his red, heated cheek to see if it would explode.
“That day, was that the first time you did something like that to me?”
Noah nodded stiffly, looking like he might die from embarrassment.
“Then… was that the last time?”
“…”
“That was all?”
“…”
“You didn’t do anything else?”
The more she asked, the more Noah’s face hardened, and he looked almost angry. But his hands were trembling like aspen leaves, visibly shaking.
Looks like there’s more to it. Yeah, she’d better leave that as his own secret. If she found out that just a slight touch of lips already makes him react like this, he might actually kill himself if she found him doing something worse…
Hmm. But why is this? The more she watched the nervous Noah, the stranger Dana felt. Am I weak to things like this? A strange, ticklish feeling welled up in her, making her curious. But that wasn’t the only reason for this feeling.
“You don’t need to be so nervous, Noah.”
Dana decided this was a good opportunity. She had been wondering how to get closer to him anyway. Noah’s secret was now a gift to her.
Do I hold the knife now? Dana wondered.
“It was nothing.”
Dana reached out and was surprised by the heat as soon as she touched his cheek. It was burning hot.
“Honestly… It’s no different than a kiss you’d give to a puppy or a kitten. It was nothing.”
Noah’s gaze turned sharp. He shot back sternly. “How can you say that, when the intent was completely different?”
“Huh?”
“That was my first kiss. No matter what you say, that won’t change.”
“…”
“Don’t ever say it was nothing again.”
As expected, Noah was a complicated person. If she’d just agreed that it was nothing, he could have glossed over it. But he absolutely refused to deny his feelings, yet was still afraid of being blamed.
“A kiss isn’t just that, Noah.” Dana smiled. “You didn’t use your tongue, did you?”
“…”
Ah. It was the first time she’d seen him look so dumbfounded.
Dana tilted her head. “Have you ever kissed like that before?”
“…No.”
“Don’t you want to try?”
“…”
“Want to try?”
Noah stared at her blankly, as if his mind couldn’t process the situation. It looked like he couldn’t believe it. “Yes.” But his mouth answered honestly. “Will you… do it for me?” Even as he spoke, he looked like he couldn’t believe it.
There was no need to answer. Dana just slowly moved closer to him.
Noah held his breath and stared at her. His face looked as if he was caught between shock and disbelief, as if he was standing on the boundary between dream and reality. The closer she got, the rougher Noah’s breathing became. His hands, pressed against the ground, were trembling pitifully.
Dana wanted to test something.
“Noah.”
Just how weak is he to things like this?
“Open your mouth and stick your tongue out a little. Just a little…”
Noah obediently parted his lips and carefully stuck out the tip of his red, moist tongue. He seemed humiliated by his own actions, but a strange sense of anticipation seemed to overwhelm everything else.
He listens well at times like this. With that thought, Dana gently kissed Noah’s tongue.
Noah furrowed his brow tightly. A low moan, half in pain, half in pleasure, escaped his lips. Feeling the moist and ticklish sensation, Dana slid over it once, twice, three times.
“Uhh, huuh.”
From up close, she could see Noah’s eyelashes trembling. Did it really feel that good? The small, droplet-like sounds seemed to burst out without his control. Every time she caressed him, his body shuddered as if shocked by electricity.
At last, their lips, which had barely touched until then, overlapped completely. She saw Noah’s nape shudder as if he were dizzy. Thinking that was enough, Dana tried to pull away.
With a dazed look, Noah approached again and murmured, “Just a little more.” Then, grabbing her nape, he urgently pulled her in and kissed her. He did exactly what she had done to him—smoothly, sliding, entwining…
No one knows how long it lasted. Noah seemed utterly immersed in his first real kiss, lost to the world, as if it could have gone on for hours unless she pushed him away. Dana had to push him by the shoulders.
“Noah, that’s enough.”
Noah mumbled with completely unfocused eyes, “Just a little more…”
“No, I think we should stop. You—” Dana stopped trying to persuade him. Her thoughts… changed. “Do you want to keep going?”
There was only silence. In that silence, his breathing grew even rougher. The heat of his breath was almost burning. How far had he let his imagination run? Deep in Noah’s green eyes, something seemed to be spinning wildly. His reaction was certainly interesting. But Dana thought it wasn’t just out of curiosity as she reached out.
Dana intended only to touch him lightly and stop before he reached his limit. It was important for him to become aware of his own desire.
“Ah.”
The moment Dana lightly, very lightly, touched him, she felt Noah’s thigh muscles tense up. And then—
“Uh.” Noah gasped and shuddered. “N-No…”
Was the pleasure that intense? Tears began streaming down his flushed cheeks.
“Do-Don’t look. Don’t look at me.”
Dana was dumbfounded. What is happening right now?
Noah, ashamed of her gaze, trembled and let out broken moans, his body shuddering completely out of his own control. “Don’t look. Please stop looking…” He covered his face with both hands. Through the gaps in his fingers, thick tears squeezed out and dripped down, even staining his fingertips red. “It’s your fault…”
