Winston and Yujin were passionately in love five years ago, but they broke up due to a misunderstanding. Winston still believes that Yujin was having an affair with his father. After being ruthlessly abandoned, Yujin thought he would never meet him again and was struggling to make a living with his daughter, when one day, his apartment catches fire, leaving them homeless. In his despair, he hears news that Winston’s father, Harold Campbell, left him a will, and he heads back to the mansion hoping to get at least some help.

When they meet again, Winston still hates him, and Yujin only wishes to receive the inheritance and leave as soon as possible. Thankfully, Harold has left him a much larger inheritance than expected. However, there is a condition: he must marry Winston and give birth to a child within one year.

Yujin tries to refuse, but reality is harsh. As revenge for Winston continuously insulting him, Yujin decides to marry him. Winston also makes it clear that he is merely executing the will and that there is nothing more between them.
