The orb stayed stubbornly black, and the staff member let out a quiet snort—like they’d expected this outcome from the start.
‘What’s going on with this thing?’
I focused harder, pouring every bit of strength I had into channeling my divine power. Slowly, the orb began to glow faintly.
‘Whew, that gave me a scare. Sure, my body’s human, but my soul is divine. Obviously, it should—wait, what…?’
Just as the orb began to glow white, the color abruptly shifted—first to gold… then red… then yellow… and finally blue.
The colors kept cycling rapidly, but white never returned, no matter how much power I poured in.
“Huh?”
Panicking, I stared at the orb, while the staff member continued watching with a blank, disinterested look. After flickering through several more colors, the orb finally settled on green.
“…Congratulations. You’re F-rank.”
‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’
I yanked my hand off the orb in disbelief and reached to place it again—only for the staff member to pull it away.

Oh my god, this is priceless! The Wind God himself—an actual High God—ranked F! I can’t stop laughing!
I shot a glare at the floating popup, then turned to the staff member.
“I think this orb’s malfunctioning. Can I try a different one?”
“Sure, of course. Just take this and head inside. You’ll get a detailed evaluation.”
They handed me a printed form that read F-Rank Detailed Evaluation in bold at the top.
‘Right… obviously a tool like that can’t measure divine power. The color changes made sense now—probably couldn’t even register something as high as SSS.’
With the form in hand, I headed toward the next room.
It looked like an airport security checkpoint, with a scanner and a man stationed at a console, watching a screen.
“We’ll begin your detailed evaluation now.”
He took the form, entered some data, and gestured toward the scanner.
Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the center of the device.
—Beep, beep—
A red laser swept across my body, and a hologram appeared in front of me:
- Base Ability: F
- Physical Stats: F
- Skill: Wind Blow (F)
What the hell? All F? Triple F?
Sure, my body was human—but my soul was that of a god. I’d used divine power. How was this possible?
Fine. Maybe my physical stats were limited by the body.
But why was my skill rated F too?
And where were Shayna’s blessings and my Clairvoyance? Why weren’t they even showing up?

Aether officially confirmed F-rank. The gods are losing it. Tears of laughter everywhere.
“You’ve awakened,” the man said flatly. “Your official rank is FFF in the Natural Element category.”
“…”
Without a hint of reaction, he stamped my form and handed it back.
Still stunned, I took the slip. He pointed me toward a sign that read Hunter Registration.
“Honestly, I’d recommend pursuing another career path.”
Looking down, I saw the bold stamp at the bottom of the page:
F-RANK CONFIRMED
F-rank. Me. A god among gods.
Me— a high-ranking god, carefully created by my father, the supreme god—ranked F?!
I was about to storm back and demand a retest, but I stopped myself.
‘No… There’s no reason I have to live as a top-tier Hunter.’
My pride had flared up, and I’d lost perspective for a moment.
A low rank doesn’t erase divine power. I could still do everything I planned, even as an F-rank.
Worrying about rank was honestly pretty childish.
Besides, as long as I’m officially registered as a Hunter, I can legally sell dungeon loot—so nothing’s getting in the way of my future plans.
“That’s right. I’m a god. No human-made device can measure me properly. Obviously. Totally normal.”
Muttering to myself for reassurance, I approached the front desk and handed over my evaluation slip and ID.
Once registered, Hunters receive a special identification card—similar to a national ID, but exclusive to Hunters. From that moment on, you’re officially recognized as one.
The receptionist took my papers, looked them over, and raised an eyebrow.
“Are you sure you want to register?”
“Yes.”
Of course I was.
Even as an F-rank, once I’m officially a Hunter…
After verifying everything, she handed back my ID along with a new one—my official Hunter license.
I ran my thumb over the engraved name on the laser-etched card, then made my way upstairs to the auction house on the next floor.
* * *
Inside the room marked “Auction,” I found a cramped space lined with small doors, each barely large enough for one person to enter.
“Are you here to consign an item?”
“Yes.”
I handed my Hunter ID to the man stationed at the entrance.
Taking it with a smirk, he said, “F-rank gets charged a 3% appraisal fee and a 4% auction commission. Still want to go ahead?”
‘What’s he smirking at? That’s rude.’
But seriously—3% just for an appraisal?
And on top of that, auctioning through the Hunter Association also meant income tax.
They were practically robbing me.
I reached into my pocket and felt the necklace.
‘Maybe I should just sell this to the Ace Guild instead? They probably wouldn’t charge appraisal fees…’
No, that wouldn’t work.
Without competition, the price would inevitably drop. To get the best value, I needed to sell it through an auction.
“Please make your decision quickly.”
Snapped out of my thoughts by the man’s annoyed tone, I nodded and held out my hand.
“Yes. Please proceed.”
The man recorded my information and handed me a card marked “3.”
“Head into Room 3.”
I entered and sat at a desk with a monitor. Not long after, the opposite door opened, and the appraiser walked in.
“Seriously? We’re low on work, and they dump me in a room that won’t even bring in a decent commission?”
‘Is he talking about me?’
Mumbling complaints, he slumped into the chair across from me and immediately said,
“Let me guess, you picked up some random trash from a worthless dungeon? Don’t be surprised if the appraisal costs more than the item’s worth.”
☆ Eha! has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Is that guy seriously trash-talking Aether right now?
☆ Humans has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
How dare he speak so rudely in the presence of Aether and not bow in worship?!
Yeah, sure. First, he casually drops the honorifics, then acts like I’m the kind of guy who’d bring back some worthless junk? Seriously, this is starting to piss me off.
Is it just because I’m F-rank?
“You probably just awakened and don’t know how things work yet, huh? Lucky for you, I’m in a good mood today—so here’s a tip: just sell it at a Hunter market.”
‘Knew it. He’s looking down on me because I’m a freshly awakened F-rank. Unbelievable.’
Thinking I was hanging on his every word, the appraiser leaned back in his chair and kept going:
“You probably heard somewhere that auctions make big money. But that only applies to items ranked B or higher. This place isn’t easy. There’s a reason the Hunter Association keeps auctions anonymous—big money comes and goes here.”
He wasn’t wrong.
Auctions existed in other countries too, but I specifically chose the Korean Association’s auction system because of its anonymity.
If a guild obtained a valuable item, it usually made headlines—and they’d auction it publicly as a way to show off their ability to conquer high-level dungeons.
But for someone like me—guildless and working solo—anonymous auctions were the best option.
Big profits always drew attention, and with attention came headaches.
‘Yeah, selling this to Ace Guild would’ve stirred up too much noise. Best to keep it low-key. And as for this arrogant jerk…’

“Can’t we just get rid of this guy already? I swear, I’m ready to bring down divine punishment myself!”
I pulled the necklace from my pocket and held it out.
“Enough talk. Just appraise it.”
“Hah.”
The appraiser sighed loudly and glanced back and forth between me and the necklace.
“Didn’t you hear me? This place is backed by the Association—”
“Appraise it or not. I’ll take it somewhere else.”
“Fine, but I’m charging full appraisal fees. Don’t come crying later.”
“You sure talk a lot. Want me to just leave?”
As I moved to stand, he quickly snatched the necklace from my hand.
“Let’s see how ‘amazing’ this trash really is. Appraisal!”
The necklace gave off a soft glow as he activated the spell.
The moment he looked down at it, his eyes went wide in disbelief.
Then he shouted again.
“A-Appraisal!”
He looked like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing—and to be fair, it made sense. This was a unique S-rank necklace, something never seen before, and here it was being handed in by an F-rank rookie. Of course he thought there was some kind of error.
“T-This necklace…”
His hand began trembling.
“What, too worthless even for auction?”
“N-No! Not at all!!”
His voice shot up an octave, and suddenly he was using honorifics.

Ah yes, the true face of capitalism—kneel before wealth.
“W-Where did you get this?”
“I picked it up in the A-rank dungeon that opened today. If it’s not good enough for your auction, give it back—I’ll take it overseas.”
“No! It’s more than good enough!”
“You’re saying something very different now.”
“I—I truly apologize for not recognizing such a distinguished guest!”
He leapt to his feet and bowed deeply at a perfect 90 degrees.
Of course he did. His commission alone would be worth hundreds of millions of won.
I waved him off nonchalantly, signaling I’d let it slide. The appraiser, now back in his seat, carefully took out a black cloth from the drawer and gently wrapped the necklace before placing it on the desk.
It’s an S-rank item. It’s not like it’ll scratch. What a drama queen.
“Would you like to leave it with us?”
“Yeah.”
He tapped a few keys on his monitor and turned the screen toward me.
“When would you like the auction to be scheduled?”
I glanced at the calendar. There was one today, but it was too soon.
You needed time to build hype—give buyers a chance to prepare their wallets.
“This day,” I said, pointing to the nearest date three days out. He confirmed the entry and showed me the reservation screen.
‘Alright. First things first—ditch that depressing semi-basement apartment and book a hotel. I’ll be filthy rich in three days. No need to penny-pinch anymore. I wonder how much I have left in my account right now…’
“The auction will be held in the underground level of this building. Here’s your admission ticket—don’t forget to bring it back on the day.”
As I accepted the ticket and was about to leave, I paused and sat back down.
“Is there something else I can help you with?” the appraiser asked.
“How do I sell mana stones?
“You can take those to the Mana Stone Support Department on the first floor.”
‘Hmm. I had planned to sell them today too… but maybe not.’
I had about 20,000 mana stones stockpiled.
The queen ant’s necklace was a jackpot, but the mana stones had been a solid source of income too.
Still, selling them would probably take the whole day.
I’ll sell them gradually over time.
With a nod, I stood again. The appraiser gave another deep 90-degree bow.
“Thank you for visiting!”
All it took was one S-rank necklace, and suddenly, I was a VIP at the Hunter Association.
Soon, I’d be a millionaire.
‘Now I can just kick back, relax, and casually stop the apocalypse. Making money’s never been so easy.’

He’s kinda annoying but in a good way? Idk how to describe it. But I am definitely enjoying the story! Thanks for translating
Ahhhhh… I don’t really know what’s going on but does this have to do with that corn guy about his body? What this? An F-Rank hunter, FFF-Rank at that but the soul is a god. That’s not definitely goes around right?
